2 Reborn From The Ashes

The whole world was full of darkness. In this place, shadows reigned supreme. The only thing that wasn't dark in this realm was Feng Bo. He floats through the darkness, unconscious. He floats for what could be eternity or it could be just a minute. He floated aimlessly.

Suddenly, two bright balls of pure sunlight appeared in the darkness. Oddly enough however, instead of the light driving back the darkness, the darkness seemed to be devouring the light! After the darkness started eating away at the light, a voice was emitted from the two balls of light.

"Like a phoenix, you will be reborn from the ashes. Come to me my brother, and let us leave this infernal palace of shadows." The voice cut through the darkness like a fiery blade would slice through butter! When the voice got to Feng Bo's ears he stirred in unrest.

"Arise my brother, ARISE!"

Feng Bo stirred again but remained asleep.

"Time to wake up now, we've got things to do and the darkness is eating ME!"

Feng Bo not only remained asleep, but he also started to snore.

"FOr THE LOVE of GOD, WAKE UP!"

Light snores could be heard coming from Feng Bo and if you looked closely you could even see him starting to drool as if he was taking a relaxing nap.

"FUCK IT, I'LL GO SAVE SOME OTHER HERO FROM A DOOMED FATE!"

The balls pf light open up a doorway full of dazzling light rays. This is their ticket out of there

During this whole one-sided conversation, Feng Bo was gradually getting closer and closer to the balls of light. Just as the balls of light were about to disappear, the sleeping Feng Bo bumps into them and absorbs them.

"AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! DAMMIT, I SEE WHY YOU'RE TRAPPED IN HERE NOW YOU PIECE OF SCUM, I WAS SUPPOSED TO ABSORB YOU."

And right after that, Feng Bo drifted into the golden door and out of the darkness.

"Fire! Fire! There's a fire!" Everyone ran quickly to the scene of the fire. It was an odd night already in the town of Middletown, Kentucky. First was the strange lights that went off every hour, then it was the affair everyone found out the mayor had between him and his cousin Ronnie and now its a house on fire! What could the people of Middletown do? Blame someone else. They blamed the government for the strange lights, the affair and now the house fire! But pretty soon they'll find another target in the ash heap to vent their rage upon.

And thirty minutes later, after the fire was put out, there he lay: a young man no older than 21, he had Asian features but the hair he had was singed off his face and head. Currently he was hairless and eyebrowless.His skin was pale, as if he never went outdoors much.And the weirdest thing about him, well besides the fact he's lying unconscious in a pile of ashes, was that he was naked.

"Who's the boy?"

"Why is he naked"

"Is he literally snoring?"

"Oh my gosh, I gotta post this on Snapchat!"

A small crowd gathered around the sleeping young man in the ashes. They chattered and questioned about who he was and where he came from. They talked endlessly but they all came to one conclusion: This is who started the fire. "

When this guy wakes up, he'll be in some serious trouble."

"Thankfully, the family wasn't home when the house burned down. "

"True, but it would've been better if the house hadn't burned down at all."

"Hey, y'all quit talking, the police are here!"

The men in blue marched right into the middle of the burned house where the man lays.

Two cops had pulled in a police cruiser. The getting out of the driver's seat was short, but had a well defined set of muscles. You could see the power those muscles have at just a glance! All he wore was the standard police uniform, sidearm and all.

The other guy was the first man's opposite: tall, lanky and skinny. He wore the same uniform on with the same equipment but he also wore a hat that said 'Make America Great Again'. The two picked men picked up the comatose man.

"Alright Chinaman, you're under arrest for arson, vandalism, public indecency and just because I feel like it. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law and it doesn't really matter what else I say because you're out cold. " The man with the hat on grinned at his partner's words. He's worked with him for years and could always tell when he was going to fly into one of his tempers soon.

'Any sudden moves and he'll be sent flying. ' That's what the man thought to himself. Not just the man however, everyone shared the same thoughts. They all knew the short man's rage could be uncontrollable at times.

The two police men dragged the Asian man to their car and threw him in the back seat. After that, they drove off to the police station.

In the Middletown jailhouse, the bald man was finally awake. He stretched, yawned and then opened his eyes, waiting to see the glorious sunrise from his mountain top cottage.

'Where is my glorious sunrise from my mountain top cottage? Is the Feng Bo continent going through a calamity?'

Realization soon came and snatched away any hopes of him seeing the sunrise ever again. He soon noticed something even more drastic a few moments after.

'My meridians! They're a mess! There is absolutely no way they could ever get better! I have ruined meridians! All my cultivation is gone too! I have been left with nothing! That damn traitor, I'll kill him!'

He was a raging bull at that moment but despair quickly set in.

'How will I get home?'

He was lost in a wave of regret. Hatred and gloom came over him like a tidal wave, crashing into his sanity.

[Do you want a chance at revenge?]

"Yes"

[What will you do for it?]

"Anything at all"

[Would you even start your legend all over again in a different world?]

"Yes"

[Would you trample over the people of this world to get back to the one you cane from?]

"Yes"

[Would you even-]

"I think I get the gist of it!"

[........ I think I'll take my services elsewhere]

" No, please! I apologise a thousand times! I need your help O great and mysterious voice in my head! "

[Ok, I'll help you]

[Mission:Break out of the cell!

You are trapped in a cell in Middletown, Kentucky (of all places). Break out of the cell within one day to receive a martial arts skill that suits you. (no gauruntee of I being powerful)]

Feng Bo stared at the mission screen that appeared in front of him. He looked at it hard with confusion all over his face.

In another room sat the two officers staring at a screen. On the screen, they saw Feng Bo talking to himself.

"Oh great, we got a crazy."
