Episode 1.

My brother Shelter always says you are still wet behind the ears which makes me reply that's your problem not mine in sarcasm.Sometime last year Shelter had come home crying over a girl that got his heart broken.He cried a river that night and a week more.I really did felt some pity for him,i mean it's one thing to love and another deciding who to fall in love with but sadly we always find love in the strangest of places.

Today was just one of my unluckiest days with the scorching sun blazing my skin like we were competing to see who was hotter.

A tall dark brown man stood by the walkway absentmindedly refusing to leave the way after shouting "Excuse me " thrice.

I had to tap his shoulders since his ears were looking like they were for fancy,he turned and glared at me with the 'yes can I help you look? You're blocking my way.

You never told me your father built one.

Excuse me gentleman man neither did you.

Eventually we got into a heated argument and the Lagosian in me had its way.

This gentleman started laughing infuriating the anger in me.He drew closer, my thoughts were he wanted to hit me instead he whispered "life na jeje just be calming down "to my ears.I didn't know when I started laughing and from that moment we became friends.

Famous and I grew closer but there was a limit,he was married. Yes he was married, but this married gentleman had all the qualities every single lady wanted. He was more than understanding.I remember my last relationship.Alex and I dated for 2yrs only for him to wake up one morning to trash it in a waste bin. He never understood me when I said I do not want a baby now. It's not about the birthing, parenting comes with an emotional, psychological,physical and mental readiness and not just saying I need to have a baby. Alex has always wanted everything his way which didn't always go down well with me. I'm happy it ended before it ended us a forever prison called marriage. Like Famous would say"if it's not working then don't take it further cause in the end there will be arising issues that only love can solve". Marriage can be a thing of joy and also a lifetime punishment not like there isn't bound to be

disagreements. Definitely they will come but it's how we handle them that matters a lot. I wonder how a good character man ended in a failed marriage. Famous is one one will describe as a good father and husband.
