4 More Druids

When they arrived upstairs the others had awoken and were standing near the Guardian spirits. They knew they were slaves and here was their master. They had no clue what he would desire to do with them. The large woman spoke first. "I am Brina. I am a fisherwoman not a slave. My trident has been my way of life, please return it to me. This land is strange enough without it. Where is the ocean? Where are the boats? Where am I?"

Hadorix replied. "I am Hadorix. Currently you are all my slaves. I am here to release you; I do not desire slaves. I am also here to ask for your help. I have been given the task to rebuild the Druid order here. I do not fully even know what that means, but what I do know is that I must recruit 10 new Druids. Alex is the first. I would like you three to join as well. The job does not pay yet, but you will get special abilities, I can shapeshift into a lion and Alex can shapeshift into a panther. We both received a status of Level 1, which to me says we can get stronger. Either way, you will get your weapons if you want them, I will provide you with armor as well and you will be able to live here under my protection. Though I admit I do not have much strength to protect any of you. What do you say?"

Brina responded, "Ill join, Alex looks pretty bad ass. What do you think I will be able to shapeshift into?"

Alex replied, "Thank you for the compliment. You are going to look amazing too. I have no clue what you will be, but I cannot wait to see."

Hadorix looked at the other two. It appeared they needed more time to decide as they remained completely silent. Hadorix took Brina to the throne.

When Brina arrived, the first emblem on the right side began to glow. Hadorix moved her soul stone into that slot.

· 2/10 Druids Recruited.

Brina began to have a bright light shining from her. Hadorix and Alex patiently waited until the glow had stopped. He then spoke to Brina.

Hadorix said, "What did it say you could shape shift into?"

Instead of speaking Brina shapeshifted into a giant red bear. She weighed at least 925 kg. She was a fearsome sight to behold. She quickly shifted back into a human and summoned her familiar. It was an equally large grizzly bear. Hadorix was extremely Jealous. His chipmunk was useless by comparison.

Alex led Brina back to where she had gotten her armor. In the first slot of the compartment near where Alex's manikin lay, sat a manikin with a full set of armor and a trident. The armor was leather, but unlike Alex's it had many bone plates covering the vital areas and it had a fishing net on the back and a fillet knife on the leg. Unlike Alex's it was red, identical in color to Brina's fur in her bear form. It seemed they had a pattern. The armor would take on the color of the Druids shapeshifted form.

The trio returned up to the others to see if they had yet made their decision. When they entered the upstairs room, the two that were making the decision of whether to become druids were amazed by Brina's armor. This proved that Hadorix was willing to do as he had said. Brina was free and armed. Seeing this the last woman spoke. "My name is Jess. I'm not much in a fight, but if you will have me, I will be a druid."

The man still chose not to speak. He wanted to see what happened to Jess before he made his decision.

Hadorix gave the man a moment then led Jess down to the throne. The fifth spot began to glow. Hadorix placed her stone into the slot.

· 3/10 Druids Recruited.

Jess began to glow with a bright light. Hadorix patiently waited until the light dissipated. Once it dissipated, Hadorix said, "What did it say you could shapeshift into?" Jess immediately shifted into her animal form. To Hadorix's surprise she turned into a bubble gum pink unicorn with purple polka dots. Her main and tail were black. Hadorix was unsure what to think of such a creature. She ran around the throne a few times then shifted back into a human. She then summoned her familiar. It was also a unicorn. It, however, was white with black splotches. Again, Hadorix was jealous. He had a chipmunk. What was he to do with a chipmunk?

Alex and Brina were anxious to see what Jess's armor would look like. They lead her back to the manakins. To no one's surprise, Jess's armor was on the spot for the fifth manakin. Her armor was leather like the others, but hers was bubblegum pink with purple polka dots. Jess thought Druid equip and her armor was on her. To her surprise, in her hand she held a staff. She had bone knives on both sides of her legs, and a crossbow on her back. Just like the others, she was very well armed.

The four of them returned upstairs to see if the man had made his decision. He again saw that the group with Hadorix was free, armed, and armored. He thought about it for a moment and spoke. "It is amazing that you all could wear armor and have weapons. I do not want to be a magical creature. I do not think the Druid life is for me. Will you still hold your word and arm me? Or will I truly be a slave?"

Hadorix replied, "You will be free to do as you wish, however, if I am to arm you, I hope you will help to protect this city should the need arise."

The man replied, "My name is Lamar, I will do ya one better. If you arm me and provide me armor, I will be the first soldier in your army. I will guard wherever we are. Is this a town or? Where are we?"

Hadorix replied, "Well met Lamar, I appreciate that offer and I will take you up on it. Follow me and I will let you pick your armor and weapons."

Hadorix went to the throne first out of habit. When Lamar approached, a section at the very bottom began to glow. This section was much larger. Hadorix moved his stone to the glowing slot. Lamar did not glow like the others. However, another portion of the wall opened in the back of the room facing the throne. Inside, Hadorix could see a great many manikins. All were empty and appeared to be on their knees before the throne. Hadorix thought this was interesting, however he had promised to arm and provide Lamar armor. He took him to the area with the armor and weapons scattered on the ground. When he did, Lamar found a set of leather armor that fit him and put it on. He then chose a sword on a sword belt with a sheath and equipped it.

Lamar had received a notification that he would be able to equip armor once placed on himself if he thought soldier equip. As his mind said he now had enabled his soldier to equip, he decided to disable it. When he did, his armor and weapon appeared on one of the bowing manikins. It would seem the entire army of Hadorix would have the option to equip their armor from the manikins. This could prove rather useful if The Mystic Orchard were ever attacked.

Hadorix then recalled the quests he had received. One required him to move The Mystic Orchard by using the throne. Hadorix decided to sit in the throne and try to move it. When he sat down, a helmet appeared on his head and controls rose from the ground up into his hand. He felt like he was playing a video game. He decided to move the joystick forward. When he did, he could feel the building begin to move.

· Quest Complete, Move the Mystic Orchard by using the throne.

o Reward granted, Familiar class book.

Hadorix was confused, how did he get something for his familiar? He moved a building. This quest system made no sense. Clearly the task had no relation to the reward. None the less, Hadorix summoned Monk and gave him the book. Ironically, the book said Monk on the cover. Aside from a brief chuckle, Hadorix did not give this much thought. Monk was overjoyed. He began to read the book as soon as he had it. Monk was determined to learn everything and grow as much as possible to help Hadorix. Hadorix decided he should probably find out more about the guardian spirits now. He knew what the right side of the throne was for, now he needed the left. He then went back upstairs to talk to Junifer.
