It took a few days for Richard and Arthur to get the population under control. In meanwhile Nydus Network and as result his army was moving on House Kellinghotn, Richard wanted to have Rainwood under his control before Renly could manage to mount a response.

Following night the siege began and keep quickly fallen just like the previous one. Arthur send a new soldiers with their training sergeants to take care of the populace.

The next target was house Lonmouth, the only difference between other attacks and dealings with lords was that as per their house saying "The Choice Is Yours" he gave them a choice between death and bending the knee. Surprisingly this Lord did bend the knee, of course, Richard didn't trust him one bit so he sicked a few ravens on him and let Arthur soldiers keep the peace and recruit more, in a few sieges they managed to expand his human army to 6 thousand.

Renly Baratheon Lord Paramount of Stormlands was not in a good mood, they lost contact with southern Houses, and not long after a people that lived there come running with stories of monsters running over the cities and villages. And then there is a declaration of war, at first, Renly scoffed and was getting ready to march at house Trant for such thing. But now it seems he has another problem.

Sending letters to houses located in Rainwood only reply he got is that they didn't manage to find anything worthwhile. Every time they send people to look into the silent houses they don't come back. Smallfolk is getting spoked, priests of Seven are talking about the demons that come to punish sinners and that is getting on Renly's nerves, he has half the mind just to kill them but then a problem with faith is not a good idea in this situation.

Maester decided that this was a good moment to rush into his solar.

"My Lord, grave news. Refugees from Villages around Rain House appeared today, they say the same story as previous ones. Monsters attacked and only a few of them managed to escape. We need to take this threat seriously my lord"

"Yes, you are right. Send the letters, I'm calling the banners we will get to bottom of this!" Renly declared with an angry slam on the table.

In Sunspear, Oberyn has a debate with Doran

"Elia wrote this morning, it seems our friend is moving. According to letters he managed to take over the eastern side of Rainwood, there will be war soon." Oberyn reported grimly. he had no idea his friend was planning to move on Stormland.

"Already?" Asked Doran

"I'm not surprised brother, I saw beasts he commands. They are fast, the defenders were dead before they knew what hit them."

"Truly? And he has an even better advantage because of all the forests and green in Rainwood if what you told me is true."

"Yes, that too. Doran, we need to talk about what happens when usurper eventually calls banners." Oberyn approached a subject that he did not think will ever be debated. For Richard to take on seven kingdoms alone was unthinkable before he has seen what he could do with his magic last time.

"Nothing, we will position our troops at coast holds and tell Baratheon that we expect an attack from the sea. That will buy us time and we will see if our friend manages to pull through. If he can defeat the armies of Stormlands we will join him in an alliance and split out from seven kingdoms."

Oberyn was relieved when he heard his brother plan, he truly didn't wish to take arms against his friend. "Very well brother."

Meeting of the small council began without the king present as often happened when he was whoring and drinking himself do death.

They talked over the new tourney Robert wanted to organize, day-to-day runs of Seven Kingdoms when Varys breached a subject of Stormlands.

"My birds report trouble brewing in Stormlands, they say refugees from villages say that they were attacked by monsters, they sing that Lord Renly Baratheon lost contact with several Houses on his southern borders and that he calls for banners."

Most of the council snorted at the thought of monsters.

"Illusions of old smallfolk, I bet it is just overgrown party of pirates raiding, did they say what houses he lost contact with?"

"Houses Kellington, Mertyns, Lonmouth, Estemorth, and Seaworth my Lord."

That got their attention. If it was only one house that could be ascribed to pirates getting lucky but so many

"My apologies but songs in Stormlands grew weaker for some time, barely any news reach my ears now."

(A/N: Sorry about this but when I start writing a P.O.V of someone other than the immediate circle of our MC I kinda lose all my muse. Don't know why but is hard to motivate me to continue writing them. Either way, they not very good so I will just focus on MC and his circle from now on, sorry! :D)
