6 Unworthy People

After dropping those words, Iris got up and left the cottage. Her mother needed some time to think. Her decision was entirely up to her. She just hoped hr words get through.

Her mother has to learn to be strong. Otherwise she won't survive later...

After Iris left, Sumerie thought deeply.

In her daughter's eyes, she saw a chilling gleam of light. Like a blade unsheathed, ready to strike. A very murderous desire. She didn't know this side of her daughter. But perhaps, she never really knew her daughter at all. Iris's words were true. She couldn't go on like this.

That man destroyed her innocent heart. But she won't let him destroy her whole life.

It was about time she wake up. About time she stopped neglecting the things around her, especially her daughter. After all, for her daughter to have become like this, it was her fault...

After thinking for a while, Sumerie called Iris back and hugged her tight. She said:

"Iris, you were right. Mother will not neglect her health any longer. Even if we lived here forever, I wont neglect reality anymore"

Iris sighed in relief. At least her mother understood now. The resolve she lacked seemed to have come back a little. As for the other part, that was not true. The time to go back is approaching after all..
