Darn was skipping class again, he was never interested in going to class due to his high intellect, he was one of the most brilliant students of the kaons university. He would rather spend his time on the school roof, listening to music looking at the sky or the pavement, whereas a few students where heading on different paths going to classes or chatting to each other. after a while he observed a tiny white figure heading towards the campus. It was normal for a while but after a couple of minutes the figure cut the distance and he could finally see what it was. A middle aged man with brown, short hair black trousers and a white and red T-shirt, he noticed that the man was struggling to walk

- maybe he got hit but why does he look so pale?

Soon afterwards the students noticed the man and instantly started to run and scream, the campus guard headed to the man only to be instantly attacked, a chunk of flash was now missing from his neck and blood started to spread on the floor, the guard instantly panicked, the few students that didn't leave after seeing the man, now left running on a frenzy pace, the guard tried to pull his gun but to no avail, he started to scream only to be eaten alive very slowly.

Darn was frozen in place, what the F*ck is happening. The middle aged man after devouring his meal, headed towards one of the many buildings on the campus and disappeared on one of the buildings, Darn continued to stare at the guard in shock, yet to his surprise the guard stood up like nothing happened and headed to the same direction the middle aged man did.

he decided to stay at the roof and search his phone for any notices, news or messages on social media regarding the event, he was looking thought the news. Then he finally noticed, many videos online of people killing and eating each other only to stand up after and run to other people. Zombies, yh that's right he couldn't believe it, not in a million years this was really happening. He played many games and watched many films about zombies but yet he still couldn't believe a real outbreak of zombies is actually happening. He decided to look on other countries only to be surprised again with the same news.

Darn was a quiet kid, his only friend was his roommate Jasper, a nineteenth years old American guy, skinny and tall, he was the complete opposite from Darn, popular with the girls and admired by the boys, many times he heard people saying great things about him and even the teachers liked him. He needed to trace a plan as staying at the roof with no food no weapons and no protection was Suicide, he call Jasper to get his location only for the call be cut off straight after. He then texted Jasper telling him what he had seen and sending his location. He didn't like many people and in situations like these, trust would only get himself killed, yet Jasper was difficult, his childhood friend was at the campus and he will definitely find him.

He was about on the corridor heading towards the canteen when he heard the campus speakers turning on, the voice was unclear and you could hear thuds from the background...

"Attention students this is your principal, the Campus have been invaded, i repeat the campus have been invaded this is code red please evacuate as soon as possible on a organised manner, the teachers will help yo...

it was then that a loud Bang echoed inside the speakers followed by the pleads and screams of the principal, it went on for a couple of seconds before slowly fade on the background, the silence after were the most deafening one, the only sound he could hear was his heart beating. A few seconds after hell on earth began.
