24 Changing One's Fate

Lucifer looked at Zeus in an understanding manner but could still feel the anger that was flowing through him for the jackass but he looked at Hades in shock as he couldn't understand why one of his friends would do this to him.

He then promptly ignored Zeus in favor of talking with Hades, thus getting a sigh of relief from the God-king. He then slowly menacingly walked towards Hades and stopped a few meters away from him, "Why? Why did you do it? You're one of the only friends I have in this world so why!? WHY DID YOU HIDE HER!?!"

Hades flinched at his loud and terrifying voice and didn't look at him but Zeus. He then coldly said, "I had to. My asshole of a brother here tried to kill her. I hid her because of him! When Zoe was on the verge of dying, I saved her soul and transferred it to the nymph, Hesperis. I hid her in the enemy camp for safekeeping. I never knew that you were coming back and essentially forgot all about her until you mentioned her just right now. Don't think that I forgot that you possessed me a few years ago! I hold grudges and you know that!"

Lucifer felt very much embarrassed at the part of the possessing thing but still felt angry at Hades for hiding Zoe from him. But he knew that it wasn't his fault but Zeus' as he was deliberately tried to murder his daughter. He then angrily turned to Zeus and thought, 'I'll be coming back for you later, you old corpse. I'll teach you to never lie and hide things from me.'

After thinking those things, Lucifer quickly teleported in front of Zeus and started choking him. He then lifted him to the air and said in a bone-chilling voice, "It has been a good thousand years since I've tortured you, eh Sparky? Why don't we fix that right now?" And completely tore Zeus' right arm of his being.

Suddenly seeing his arm in Lucifer's hands, Zeus let out a bloodcurdling scream and knelt on the ground. Lucifer scoffed at the downed Zeus and lifted the said person's arm and had it slap Zeus on the face.

Seeing all this happen, the other gods looked at them in horror and tried to help their king. When they wanted to get up from their thrones, they saw that they couldn't get out of it and struggled even more. Poseidon looked at his friend in horror and wanted to say something but couldn't due to the sudden appearance of the tape on his mouth.

Seeing Poseidon try to reason with him, Lucifer quickly materialized tape and used it on his mouth in a split second. Lucifer felt satisfied at Poseidon's look and turned back to the suffering Zeus and sadistically said, "This is just the beginning Sparky. Don't get too immersed into the pain because if you do, then I promise you that it will stick to your mind for the rest of your pathetic life."

He then started to produce Hellfire and burned the flesh on Zeus' face and tried to make it temporary but accidentally upgraded it to permanent. Lucifer knew that if he healed it then it wouldn't be permanent but for the medical prowess of Apollo, then it would definitely be stuck for life.

Feeling quite bored with his 'torture', Lucifer quickly remedied it and forced a tiny flame of Hellfire in Zeus' throat and had it stay inside his body until he dispelled it. He then healed Zeus' missing arm and laid the suffering God of Thunder and bound him to the floor.

With Zeus laid down on the floor, Lucifer then flopped beside him and slowly cut off his "patient's" toes first with a newly materialized god slaying knife. He smiled at Zeus' increasing screams and smiled sinisterly at the other gods in the room who looked at him in horror.

When Lucifer was done cutting Zeus' toes, he then continued to his fingers and now used his Hellfire to further torture the god. He looked at Zeus' crying face and still didn't feel satisfied with what he did.

He suddenly had a great idea! After thinking the 'plan' through, Lucifer looked at the other gods present in the room and said, "Well ladies and gentlemen, relax and enjoy the show. This entertainment will be all for you guys and it would last for quite a while."

He then turned around and gave Zeus' his full attention and snapped his fingers. After doing that, he menacingly said, "Because this show is an example of what I will do to you guys if you cross me."

While all of them couldn't see Lucifer's face due to his back facing them, they could still imagine the evil grin on his face as he tortured the downed god. All the other gods could only look in horror in what the literal Devil was doing to Zeus.

Lucifer's punishment for the now broken god was; mutilating him, burning him alive, emasculating him, mind ****, illusions of Hera cheating on him, even having men have a go with him! (In his mind) But after taking away his godhood, only then was Zeus broken.

All of the gods looked quite terrified of Lucifer now and hoped that they weren't next and could only pray to any higher beings than them to save them. Unfortunately for them, their prayers were unanswered.

After Lucifer was done with Zeus, he then slowly walked towards Hades in an intimidating manner. When he was in front of the trembling god, he calmly said, "You must know where this is going right? Right. Then you should know that unfortunately for you, it's your turn."

Hades' complexion paled even further than it was and trembled in his throne. He then shakingly said, "Lucy, you know that what I did for your daughter was to save her. If I didn't do that then you couldn't have met her right now! Please just overlook the fact that I forgot the fact that she was still alive."

Lucifer sighed at Hades and tiredly said, "And you must remember what I do to people who forget something that is important to me?"

Hades paled even further and stuttered, "Y-yo-you-you're r-re-real-really goi-going t-to d-d-do th-that t-to m-m-me?"

The other elder gods looked at Lucifer in fright while the younger Olympians looked curious at what the punishment was but just shivered at the thought of what could make the powerful elder gods so terrified.

Lucifer just ignored Hades at that moment and promptly sent him to Hell for a few days. He knew that sending the god to Hell was a little over the top for punishment but still did it knowing that none of the demons there were powerful enough to torture him but unknowingly to him, the demons in his Hell got stronger due to his jump in strength in the past million years.

Now that he thought about it, wasn't Hades' punishment more than Zeus'? Nah, Hades would be just a little scared at what the strongest demon would do to him if he was there while he tortured the living daylights out of Zeus.

After sending Hades to Hell, Lucifer looked at the other Olympians in the room and smiled devilishly, "It seems that you lot don't have a king now, do you?"

Poseidon raised an eyebrow at him and muffled out an "Mfffphh-mphhhff!"

Lucifer looked at the still taped Poseidon and chuckled in amusement and removed the tape. Quickly.

Poseidon let out a pained scream when the tape was finally nowhere near his mouth and immediately glared at the innocently looking Lucifer, "What did you do that for!? For Chaos' sake, that hurt! I don't know what kind of tape that was but it still hurts!"

After saying that, Poseidon and Lucifer had a full-blown argument and Apollo couldn't take it anymore, "What are we doing here for!? It must have been like a few thousand years since Lucifer arrived and Artemis was still captured by who knows what when he started torturing Zeus!"

All of them then turned to the fuming god in shock and mild amusement for Lucifer. Lucifer slowly walked towards the fuming but still fearful Apollo and stopped in front of him, "You don't have to worry about anything, Goldy. I slowed time so that a thousand years in here are just a couple of seconds out there," and pointed his finger at the door.

The gods looked at Lucifer in shock, Lucifer then started walking towards the middle of the room and made a throne for himself and proceeded to lay his chin on his hand. He then smirked at Poseidon challenging, "Since that all of you are lacking a king, I'm officially appointing Poseidon as the new one."

Zeus let out an angry groan while the other gods looked quite shocked at his bold announcement. Poseidon glared at Lucifer in defiance and said, "I am not going to be King of Olympus just because you said so! I have my duties to my kingdom and I will not let you hinder them just because you want me to rule Olympus!"

Lucifer smirk seemed to increase in its smugness and amusingly said, "Oh I know of your duties Squid Head. But who do you think will take the throne? Apollo? Hermes? Don't tell me you want Hades to lead? He has much to take care of in the Underworld and his duties are much bigger than yours. Even Hermes has bigger duties than you. So what'll be? Leave Olympus with no one as it's head or be its ruler, the one who will lead it to prosperity?"

Poseidon looked quite conflicted at his words and turned towards the others for help and saw their encouraging looks, he was even surprised that Athena grudgingly encouraged him in doing it. He just let out a big sigh and tiredly said, "Fine, I'll take the mantle of the King of the Gods. But just because I'm accepting your proposal doesn't mean that you're not going to help me you Old Bat! So will you?"

He then turned towards the direction where Lucifer was supposed to be but saw no one. Poseidon looked quite confused at Lucifer's sudden disappearance and looked at the others in confusion.

Seeing his looks, Athena mockingly shook her head and said, "When you said the word 'fine', Lucifer immediately teleported out of here and it seems that time is now flowing normally. If you weren't busy looking elsewhere, then he wouldn't have gotten out of your sight, Barnacle Brain."

Poseidon had various different emotions on his face but the most prominent one was anger, "THAT OLD BAT!! I TURN AWAY JUST FOR A SECOND AND HE IMMEDIATELY RUNS AWAY!! IF I GET MY HANDS ON HIM THEN HE WOULD RUE THE DAY HE MESSED WITH ME!!!"

Just as Poseidon was about to teleport out of there, Demeter let out a fake cough, "It seems that you have forgotten what you just agreed to my king."

Poseidon looked at her in annoyance but widened his eyes in shock when he registered her words in his mind, "Crap. Don't tell me I'm really the king now, am I?"

Hermes let out a weak chuckle, "Good, then we won't my king."

Poseidon looked at him in irritation, "Don't you dare call me that nephew!"

Athena let out a smirk, "Why not my king? Isn't that what you are to us now? Our king?"

Poseidon glowered at her and chose to ignore her in favor of looking at what squishy thing that he was stepping on. When he looked down, he noticed that what he was stepping on was their former king and brother or father.

The other's then turned to where he was looking at and gave a shocked looked at the downed Zeus. Hermes and Apollo immediately went towards him and helped him sit on his throne and took care of the now slightly immortal Zeus.

After a couple of minutes, Apollo let out a frustrated yell, "Fuck! This is Artemis all over again!" He then turned towards the others and said in an irritated way, "I can't help him. The pain he is suffering is due to Lucifer's Hellfire. I can't dispel it so the pain won't stop."

Poseidon let out a sigh of defeat and turned towards the still frozen in shock Hera and snapped his fingers in front of her face, "Hera!! Lucifer is gone already! You should take care of your husband now that Lucy's done with him. But I don't think that he can help you in bed now with his dick gone."

Hearing his words, Hera snapped out of her daydreaming and uttered an, "I have to meet her. I have to meet my daughter!" She then frantically rushed out of the throne room, forgetting the fact that she could have teleported.

Poseidon then looked back at his two other sisters and looked concerned over Hestia's crying. He then sighed in defeat and said to Hestia, "It seems that your punishment is still in place, sister. You should go back to your temple to cool off."

He turned towards the younger gods and tiredly said, "You all should go back to what you were doing before Lucifer called all of you here." Poseidon then looked around and saw that Dionysus wasn't around but overlooked it as Lucifer must have been with him before he came there.

When it was finally him, Zeus and Apollo left, Poseidon looked at Apollo with a tired smile, "Why are you still here nephew?"

Apollo looked conflicted at what he was going to say but winged it, "Do you think that Lucifer would help Artemis?"

Poseidon just chuckled at Apollo's nervousness and said, "If she hadn't been the one to take care of Zoe then I'm quite sure that he would have left her. But knowing that it was her that took his daughter under her wing, then there is a high chance that he would."

Apollo let out a sigh of relief and said, "I wonder if he is going to her right now."

Poseidon smirked at him and said, "Knowing him, no. No, he won't. He would probably spend his precious time with Zoe and Death."

After teleporting out of the throne room, Lucifer looked alarmed at not being in the Big House or anywhere near the camp. He then started looking around and saw three old and dusted looking statues a few distances away from him. But he was quite sure that he felt life in it and that puzzled him a bit.

Lucifer then walked closer to the 'statues' and started circling the three in a weird and fascinated manner that seemed to unnerve the statues.

Seeing that the statues were nervous, Lucifer let out a "HAH!! You fuckers can stop acting now! I can see through your disguises!"

At his words, one of the statues lost its dust and suddenly spoke in a hoarse voice, "It seems that you've found us, Devil."

Lucifer let out a triumphant, "You three musketeers cannot hide from the great Lucifer!"

One of the statues shook its dust of itself and deadpanned, "Your humor has not waned in the past million years, Devil."

The last one then followed suit in shaking off the dust from itself and continued, "But we still have much to talk about."

Lucifer looked closer at them and smirked, "I know who you three old sods are, I'm just having fun so don't twist your panties in a bunch if you even have any," he then paled at his words and continued, "You guys do have panties, right?"

The one on the left said in a monotone voice, "Your jokes are not needed this time around, Samael,"

The middle one then continued, "We have much to discuss other than your unneeded jokes,"

The right one then blankly said, "But if you must know, no we don't have."

The two other sisters and Lucifer looked at her incredulously and in a horrific manner (Lucifer). Lucifer then shivered and said in a disgusted tone, "I so didn't need to hear that! You old coots could have dust falling out of that robe with how you look like!"

The three sisters then glared at him and simultaneously said, "We are not here to talk about our choice of clothing, Devil! We are here due to meddling with our plans again!!"

Lucifer looked at them in mild fascination and amusingly said, "I still think that your talking is still creepy and fascinating though! How do you even talk like that?"

The one on the left monotonously replied, "It has been practiced,"

The middle continued, "for a dozen million years,"

The right one finished, "since our birth."

Lucifer then smirked at, what he guessed was, Clotho, "So mind telling me what I'm here for? It has been a dozen millenniums since we last chatted."

Lachesis, the one he was talking to, replied, "I am not who you are thinking who I am,"

Clotho continued in an annoyed tone, "and I am the one who you are supposed to be addressing,"

Atropos then smirked at her sisters and looked back at Lucifer, "You are here for changing our plans again."

Lucifer looked at them in confusion and sighed, "I don't know why my omniscience doesn't work on who is who between the three of you but I don't care anymore. So spill, how am I changing your plans again?"

Clotho then answered, "You were not supposed to be back,"

Lachesis continued, "the Sea Spawn should not be that strong,"

Atropos narrowed her eyes and continued, "Athena's Spawn should not be that strong,"

Clotho scowled and still continued, "Zeus should still be king,"

Lachesis frowned and finished listing all of the changes, "and your former lovers should not be a wreck."

Lucifer rolled his eyes at them while scowling, "I don't care about any of your plans. I would destroy them if it crosses with any people that are under my protection. I don't care if it was just a minion of mine, it is still my minion."

The sisters narrowed their eyes at him and simultaneously said, "You cannot just come to our dimension and do whatever you want Devil! This is not your territory to decide things that should be out of your power!"

Lucifer laughed at them and mockingly said, "Well then, it's a good thing that this little Devil got stronger while he was away."

Clotho then growled at him, "We won't let our plans come to ruin!"

Lachesis followed suit, "Just because you are here doesn't mean that we will let you!"

Atropos scowled at him and said, "Even if we have to take drastic measures!"

Lucifer then 'cleaned' his right ear and suddenly looked at them looking like he just realized something important, "Oh! Did you guys say something? All I heard were whiny bitches complaining that everything wasn't going their way."

The three fates narrowed their eyes at him, "You will someday see that not all things will come your way. That there is nothing that you can do. And when that time comes, we will be there, laughing at your misery."

Lucifer's eyes then turned blood-red and growled, "What are you three implying? Do you dare go against me just because of a tantrum you three are throwing?"

The fates matched his glare with one of their own and continued to do so. The fates and Lucifer then proceeded to have a stare-off for a couple of minutes until Lucifer suddenly saw that he was in the Big House.

Seeing that he was back in camp and that he could feel the presence of Death and Zoe, Lucifer narrowed his eyes and said, "What are those three up to? They don't seem to want to fade just yet, so why?"

"Who are you talking about? What do you mean by that, Lucifer?"

Lucifer sighed and turned towards Chiron and said, "The fates. They were furious that I was messing up their plan and are planning something."

Chiron looked at him in shock and said, "Be careful about what you are doing Lucifer. There are lines that can't be crossed and one of those lines is the fates."

Lucifer rolled his eyes at him and exasperatedly said, "I know Chiron, don't get your curlers in a bunch. I already did these things before, in ancient times. They could do nothing to what I was doing and I was weaker then."

Chiron shook his head, "You should know that the people you were with were immortal Lucifer. The people that are in your care right now, aren't."

Lucifer just scoffed at him and said, "Just because they aren't immortal doesn't mean that I can't protect them, horsey."

Chiron looked annoyed at what he said but still continued, "I meant that what if you couldn't protect them? What if they died? What would you do?"

Lucifer laughed at Chiron's face and said in an incredulous manner, "I have Death as a wife, horsey. No one can die under our watch. If they do, I would just revive them!"

Chiron shook his head in a disappointed manner and turned away from him and walked away. Before he was out of sight, he then turned his head towards Lucifer and said in a foreboding manner, "But what if you can't revive them? Many beings in the world can destroy the soul of the person you care so much about and what then? What would you revive? A soulless body? I suggest that you take extra measure in protecting you little family Lucifer because if you don't, then I wouldn't like to see you suffering from the guilt of 'should have'."

Lucifer looked at Chiron's fleeing backside and couldn't help but scoff at his idea, 'I'm strong enough to protect them if things go south.' But a small side of him couldn't help but agree with what Chiron said.

He then shook those thoughts off and walked towards where Death and Zoe were. After a few minutes of walking, he finally arrived in front of them and smiled warmly at the two.

Feeling a presence approaching them, Death and Zoe looked at the one who dared to disturb them and saw that it was Lucifer. Zoe was kind of nervous about finally having to interact with her father and pissed off that he went somewhere upon knowing that she was his daughter.

Like Zoe, Lucifer was nervous about having to talk to his daughter who he had never known for thousands of years and who was in a man-hating group. But he braved the deep waters and immediately tried to talk to her. Keyword: Tried.

Remember that time when Hera ran out of the throne room? Well, it seems that she finally arrived and she was running towards them.

Zoe looked at the frantic Hera and got nervous, the goddess looks like she finally snapped! She then hid behind Death and watched her parents interact.

Lucifer looked at the fastly approaching Hera and glared, "What do you think you're doing here?"

Hera stopped dead in her tracks and sobbed, "I'm here for OUR daughter! I'm here to take her back home!"
