25 Arguing and Getting Artemis

Death immediately glared at her with so much hate that Lucifer was surprised that she can hate someone that much. "Then where were you when Zoe was being abused by Atlas? Where were you when she was scorned by her sisters? Where were you when Hercules betrayed her? Because I'm sure as Hell that you weren't there!"

Hera glared back at her with tear-filled eyes and replied back, "I didn't know that she was alive! I just knew that after 2 months of Lucifer leaving me to my own devices, there was no longer any life growing inside of me!"

Death 'tsk-ed' at her and turned away while Zoe just looked at Hera blankly. She then slowly started to walk towards the heartbroken Hera and stopped right in front of her.

Hera looked at Zoe carefully and now knew that she was definitely her daughter as she had features that resemble her and Lucifer. Even though it wasn't her that birthed Zoe, she 'knew' that she was still her mother as her soul was made by her union with the Devil.

Hera subconsciously reached both her hands towards Zoe's face and cried even more. But before she could finally touch her daughter's face, both hands were slapped out of the way by a now crying Zoe.

Death moved to comfort her new daughter but was stopped by an equally angered Lucifer who's eyes were glowing blood red. He just silently shook his head and continued to look at the mother-daughter duo.

Zoe glared at her mother and whispered, "Why?"

Hera looked at her confusedly and asked, "What do you mean?"

Zoe's glare intensified as she shouted, "WHY DID YOU TRY TO KILL ME!?! WHY DID YOU ABANDON FATHER JUST TO HOOK UP WITH THAT MANWHORE OF A HUSBAND YOU NOW HAVE!?!?!"

Hera flinched at her words and whispered, "I didn't mean to... I really didn't... Zeus just appeared out of nowhere when I was at my lowest. I didn't know what he was doing until we started to have sex... I always thought that he would be afraid of Lucifer to even think of making a move on me but I thought wrong..."

Zoe looked at Hera with a disgusted expression and continued to listen, "After I regained my senses, I swiftly left Zeus there and proceeded to go back home. When I arrived, it was the same as I left it; wrecked. Lucifer was drinking in a corner of the house and kept spouting on how HE, the literal Devil, was betrayed by my sister."

Death looked at Lucifer and sent a telepathic message, 'So you were more narcissistic than today? How?'

Lucifer chuckled a little and replied, 'Something happened to my soul after I left, and that caused my change.'

He then turned back towards his daughter and ex-fiance and thought, 'Bloody Hell! If it wasn't for my damn pride in the whole 'Haven't lied since my creation' was going on then this wouldn't be so hard!'

Oblivious to what was happening to her, Hera continued on with her story, "With how Lucifer was acting and how hormonal I was, I just... I just couldn't take it! I went back to Zeus after a few days to feel the passion and lust that was giving me and..."

Hera then turned towards Lucifer with the so much sadness that Lucifer wanted to puke, "After a few months or weeks, I suddenly felt your life force stop... That's when Lucifer found out about my affair with Zeus and left me."

Lucifer spat on the ground near Hera and said with venom, "Some Goddess of Marriage you are. Can't even be faithful. How can the others be assured by your domain? Isn't that essentially going against your entire being? Pathetic."

He then turned away from her and walked towards the Big House while saying, "Zoe, dear, I suggest that you settle things with your 'mother'. Tsk, a mother Goddess that can't even recognize their own offspring. Your skills are will hold no meaning to you if you keep that up. Useless pile of shit."

Lucifer angrily walked towards the Big House with Death in tow. Lucifer smiled a little as he heard someone's voice shouting and reprimanding their pathetic mother. 'Can't even recognize her own daughter with her having most of your features? Truly pathetic.'

When Lucifer and Death arrived in front of a worried Chiron and a cackling Dionysus, Lucifer walked past them and continued onwards towards their room.

As soon as Lucifer and Death sat on their bed, Lucifer looked towards her and said, "I want to be rid of this world immediately. As soon as I help Artemis out of restraints then we will leave. I don't want to owe anyone any favours before leaving."

Death nodded seriously at his words and said, "I agree with you on that Honey. The only downside to that is leaving Percy and Annabeth here, and we don't even know if Zoe wants to come with us and explore other Universes."

Zoe, who was standing by the door, suddenly interrupted, "Thou would like to come with the both of thee. If Lucifer, thou means if thy father is going to explore the vast Multiverse or Omniverse or whatever the mortals call it, then thou would like to join."

Death looked quite startled at the sudden appearance of Zoe while Lucifer just calmly looked at them. He then thought, 'I really shouldn't let my guard down just because nothing can hurt me in this Universe.'

Zoe continued, "Thy would feel quite blue with the separation with my lady but thou would also want to spend more time with thy father and thy mother."

Death looked very tearful at her words and quickly stood up and threw herself at Zoe. She then wrapped her arms around her and started to sob a little and say, "I always wanted a child. There was only one person who I adopted but he wasn't quite that young to try and coddle. I know that it would be awkward to coddle you right now but you're a girl and we could do all sorts of things that Steve and I couldn't do!"

Lucifer looked at her with pity and started walking towards the both of them and silently hugged them. He then thought, 'Isn't this the feeling I had before my rebellion? The comfort of a family? It is huh? Heh, who would've known that the terrifying Devil would settle down and start a family?'

He then looked at Death and Zoe and sweatdropped a little, 'Well, my new family is a little scary too but I can work with it. The child being a Demigod and Archangel hybrid, the mother being the personification of Death and then there's me, the father.'

Lucifer chuckled a little at his inner monologue and said, "Well then! Why don't we go save your mistress already and say our goodbyes because I'm sick and tired of this place!"

Death and Zoe looked at him with a blank look as Death said, "You just had to ruin the mood, didn't you?"

Lucifer stared right back at her and said, "Well, sorry for trying to be the optimistic one. I just want to get out of this damned Universe! My Hell is more relaxing to me, wait... any Hell is comfortable to me! So can we please finish this and get the bloody Hell out of here?!"

Death smirked at him and said, "You said it."

Lucifer looked at her in confusion and asked, "Huh? What'd I say?" Zoe looked as confused at the topic as her father was and turned to her mother questioningly.

Death's smirk seemed to widen as she said, "You finally said please. After hundreds of years, you finally said it to me."

Lucifer looked at her in shock and shook his head furiously and said, "No! No, no, no, no, no! I couldn't have said that!"

Death smirked increased even more as she replied back, "Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! You really did it!"

Zoe turned towards them in complete and utter confusion and asked, "Why does thy father care so much about saying the word please?"

Lucifer scowled a little at her words and said, "This handsome Devil shouldn't need to plea for anything! Why in the damned 7 Hells did I say that blasted word?"

Death smiled sweetly at his words and said, "Honey, you're being narcissistic again!"

Lucifer looked back at her and 'tsk-ed' while looking towards Mt. Othrys. He then looked towards Death and Zoe and said, "Whelp, why don't I go and fetch Artemis while both of you have some family bonding time?"

Zoe looked at her father in shock and said, "What about thy prophecy? The one that said that-"

Lucifer cut her off and replied, "I don't care about any prophecies those three stooges make. I'll just go about my way and take Artemis so that we can leave already."

Zoe just watched as Lucifer stretched his wings and flew out of the room via the window. She then turned towards the amused Death and asked, "Is it really alright for thy Father to do that? Aren't thy prophecies that thou mummy looking prophet made true?"

Death giggled at Zoe's words and said, "If I know Lucifer, and I do, then he would do anything just to make everything go his way. He would care less about what would happen to anything around him. I remember one time when-"

As Lucifer was flying towards Mt. Othrys in a leisurely way, he just looked towards the cities that he was passing by and was really surprised at how beautiful it looked from above. Well mostly beautiful.

After a couple of minutes of flying, he finally arrived in Greece, Lucifer went towards the direction of the Titan's base in a more brisk manner. He then arrived a couple of seconds and was greeted by the sight of Artemis holding the weight of the sky with clear difficulty.

He then landed in front of her and started to think, 'Wait, wasn't the base at Mt. Tamalpais? Then why in the bloody hell am I doing here? And why is there an Artemis in front of me? Was the timeline so fucked up that something happened to make them move here?'

Lucifer created a chair and sat on it and started thinking. He then widened his eyes in shock and smiled and used his omniscience and omnipresent abilities. He looked at the Artemis in front of him and formed a much crueller smile.

He proceeded to destroy the chair and walk towards the now nervous 'Artemis'. He then stopped right in front of her and said, "You almost fooled me there. The Titans were really desperate to put a decoy here with the exact same look as Artemis and had you pretend to hold the sky, huh?"

Lucifer then patted her cheek and walked away whilst saying, "You can stop now and go about your way. You can even report to your superiors that I'm coming their way if you want to."

Lucifer unfurled his wings and flapped it once and then went towards the direction of Mt. Tamalpais. He then sighed as he thought, 'I really should think things clearly if I don't want to use my omniscience and omnipresent abilities.'

After a few minutes of flying, Lucifer finally arrived at San Francisco and immediately went towards the struggling form of Artemis. He then thought, 'Whelp, it's time that I turn these things off,' while "turning off" his omniscience and omnipresent abilities. 'Don't want to know it all and be there everywhere. It's very unpleasant.'

Lucifer smiled at the Artemis in front of him and said, "Now this is what I call the real article! You know, there was an imposter of yours in the real Mt. Othrys and she looked completely like you! I actually had to double-take before knowing that it wasn't you and coming here! Hey, why are you alone in he-"

Artemis glared at Lucifer and shouted, "Shut up you stupid pig and help me already! Go find that damn Atlas and have him carry this!"

Lucifer looked at her incredulously and said, "Did you just order me like I'm one of your underlings? And did you just call me a pig?!"

Artemis' glare intensified and answered, "Of course you're a pig! You're like all of the pigs that call themselves men walking this planet! And you're the worst of them!! Frolicking around with women as if you're the king of the world and having orgies whenever you want if you aren't a pig then what are you!?"

Lucifer turned neutral at her words and said, "I stopped doing that."

Artemis' intense glare softened as she asked, "What? What do you mean by that?"

Lucifer smirked at her and said, "I said I stopped doing that. Are you turning deaf or something?"

Artemis glare heated as she said, "Idiot! I said what you meant by that! I didn't ask what you were saying! What? Are you turning into an even more of an idiot than you usually are or something?!"

Lucifer returned her glare and said, "Shut up you helpless little damsel in distress! I don't care about what you're saying so just shu-"

Lucifer stopped mid-sentence as he turned his head backwards as he looked at the one that dared punch him and saw the Titan of Endurance himself. He smirked a little and said, "Good, you're here. I didn't want the hassle of going out and finding your sorry ass. Why don't you be a good boy and take back the weight of the sky from the little girl already?"

Artemis ignored Atlas' presence as she said, "Hey! I'm not a little girl!"

Lucifer turned his head towards her and said, "Oh? You aren't? With you frolicking around with the form of a little girl I thought you were, Arty."

Artemis' eyes turned into fire as she said, "Don't you dare call me Arty!"

Atlas' face turned fierce as he looked at Lucifer and Artemis ignoring him and used his spear to try and cut Lucifer up. As the spear of Atlas was going to hit Lucifer, Lucifer turned towards him with an amused expression and said, "You're going to regret that."

Atlas was confused at what Lucifer said but ignored him and proceed with what he was doing. But as soon as the spear hit Lucifer, it amounted to nothing as the smirking devil just stood there with a smirk.

Atlas quickly retreated and pointed the shaking spear at him, "H-how!? How can you not be hurt!? This spear is my symbol of power and you're saying that you're not even hurt in the slightest!?"

Lucifer shrugged his shoulders and said, "I wasn't saying that. I'm demonstrating it. So can we get over this quickly so that the Morningstars can leave this pathetic excuse of a pantheon already?"

Atlas and Artemis gritted their teeth at what he said but looked on in shock as they saw Lucifer disappearing from his place and appear in front of the shaken Atlas.

Lucifer then gave him a cruel smile and grabbed Atlas by the face and proceeded to drag him towards Artemis' direction.

He then placed Atlas beside Artemis and watched in amusement as Atlas tried to punch, kick, and scratch him and Artemis. Lucifer then positioned Atlas' arms like they were lifting something and kicked Artemis out of the way.

When Atlas was finally bearing the weight of the sky again and Artemis out of the way, Lucifer happily walked over to the downed goddess who was clenching her stomach and said, "You're finally free! Let's go back to camp so that I can be with my family again."

Artemis looked at him with a glare and said, "Why'd you do that!? I could have just gotten out of the way without being hurt!"

Lucifer smirked at her and said, "It was faster that way Arty."

Artemis widened her eyes in anger and said, "Don't call me Ar-"

Lucifer quickly closed the gap between them and grabbed her by the shoulders and teleported out of there. He then arrived in front of the astonished looks of Chiron, Dionysus, Zoe, Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and Bianca whilst Death was just looking at him calmly in the corner of the room.

Lucifer raised his hand to greet them but was interrupted by Artemis, "ty!"

Lucifer quickly looked at her incredulously and said, "How can you finish your sentence without any care of the surrounding people?"

He then thought about it and said, "Wait, don't answer that. I'm sure all the gods in Olympus would do that. I would actually do that too." 'If I wasn't angry enough to destroy the person who interrupted me.'

Artemis quickly surveyed her surroundings and noticed that she was in the presence of others and quickly composed herself. Zoe, seeing that Artemis was safe and sound, quickly went in front of her and said, "My lady! Thou is thankful that you are alright!"

Lucifer cleared his throat and waited for his praise.

Seeing Lucifer like that, Zoe reluctantly said, "Thou is grateful for what thy had done for my lady."

Lucifer deadpanned at her words and said, "I really need to fix how you talk. Wait, I think I know how. Zoe, be a dear and come here for a moment."

Zoe looked at him in confusion but still complied to his request and walked towards him. Artemis, on the other hand, objected to what he had said, "NO!! Zoe! Do not come closer to that vile man! He would do unpleasant things to you!"

Lucifer glared at Artemis and said, "She is my daughter you nitwit. If you haven't gotten the memo with how similar we look then there. She's my daughter. And I'm not sick enough to do that to her."

'If she doesn't want to that is,' he added as an afterthought.

Artemis looked dumbfounded at what she had heard and turned towards the other occupants in the room for clarification. Seeing her look, Chiron could only smile wryly and say, "He speaks the truth, my lady. Zoe Nightshade or now known as Zoe Morningstar is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and Lady Hera."

Artemis' eyes widened in shock and said, "That no-good mother of Olympus!? She's her mother!? How can that be!? Zoe is the daughter of Atlas and Hesperis! How can they be her parents!?"

Dionysus yawned and said, "It seems that when Hera was pregnant with Zoe here, she thought she had a miscarriage but the situation was only complicated by Hades by putting Zoe's soul in the nymph Hesperis when she was ovulating and was having sex with the Titan Atlas."

Most of the people there were quite startled at how long Dionysus sentence was and looked at him in shock. Seeing their looks, Dionysus quickly said, "What? Just because I don't want to talk much doesn't mean that I'm mute. I just like sleeping than speaking to mortals."

Whilst all of this was happening, Lucifer was placing his hand on top of Zoe's head and started messing with her soul and erased any memories she had about ever having the old English accent and added the modern one while also adding a precaution that when Zoe's soul is in the verge of being destroyed then her soul will be transported beside him.

Lucifer smiles proudly at his achievement and looked at the wide-eyed look of Death. He then gave her a smug smile and said, "And you said that my plans were getting rusty. That was a brilliant idea if I do say so myself. But who could argue? It was me who came up with the idea in the first place."

Death and Zoe smiled awkwardly at the cackling form of Lucifer and turned towards the other people in the room with them. Zoe then walked towards the waiting form of Artemis and Bianca whilst Death went to Percy, Annabeth, Chiron, Dionysus, and Thalia.

Lucifer just watched in the sidelines as he looked at Death chatting sadly at Annabeth and Percy whilst thinking about how wrecked he was when he left this dimension or Universe. He then looked at the memories of himself singing 'No woman, no cry' whilst being wasted and chuckled awkwardly.

He then turned towards the direction of the fastly approaching Artemis and smiled, "Oh?"

Artemis then stopped in front of him and poked his chest while saying, "You better take care of Zoe or I'm finding a way to you so I could torture you myself!"

Lucifer sweatdropped at her words and thought, 'How can you even know if she's not being taken care of? More importantly, how in the bloody hell are you even going to torture me if you can't meet or torture me!?'

Lucifer shook his thoughts away and smirked at Artemis and said, "Of course I will Arty. She IS my daughter. And I know that you treat her as yours too but it's my turn now. But of course, if you want to be her mother then all you need to be is my woman-!"

Lucifer clutched his head as he turned towards the terrifying figure of Death towering over him as she said, "What was that Lucy!? Were you just going to suggest cheating on me?"

Lucifer smiled at her and said, "Don't worry honey, I was just joking." He then turned towards Artemis and said, "Don't take it too seriously Arty, I was just jo-, Hey! Are you blushing? Weird way to blush hahahaha! You guys blush gold? Oh yeah, ichor."

He then leaned forward and stopped when his and Artemis' face were only centimetres apart and said, "Oh? So you're interested in the idea of being mine? So you really do want to be Zoe's mother but being mine was just a bonus eh? Say, do you want to? Travel the different worlds with us and be mine? We could go to a world with untainted nature or a world filled with Chefs who are much skilful than what you have here..."

He then thought of how the Netflix version of himself did it and tried doing it, "So, what do you desire Phoebe Artemis?"

Artemis grew nervous under his gaze and started stuttering, "I-I-I... I w-wa-want... t-to... go w-with Z-Z-Zo-Zoe.."

Her eyes widened in shock as she bolted out of the room. Bianca and Zoe quickly followed after her after Zoe glared at her father. Chiron, Dionysus, Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and Lucifer were looking at the door in shock while Death was giving Lucifer a glare.

Lucifer's voice broke the awkward silence inside the room as he said, "Huh, it seems like that I still have my charms."
