Two days later the tournament resumed but Theo and Jace both wernt allowed to pitch and were both on the bench.
Today's one and only opponent was suppose to be an easy match up so the coach decided on resting some of his valuable players.
Sadly they barely won the game. The back up catcher made alot of mistakes and bad calls making it a tough game.
For the first time that season they had an after game meeting. The main topic what to do at catcher causing the back up to quit.
Every one looked confused till Jace suggested that they move Caleb to CF the 2nd string CF to right Field. Theo as the main starting pitcher and put him as starting catcher. Then switch him and Theo when needed.
The coach seemed uncertain about the part involving Theo and Jace till Caleb and Joe gave full support shortly followed by the rest of the team as they stayed after every now and then to get some extra drills or batting practice when Theo was pitching.
The coach seeing the full team was in support decided to trust in his team. Little did he know that this would be the normal for the rest of Jaces Caleb and Theos time in highschool.
Jace then announced to his brother and 2 friends that the trading would increase in difficulty now that the team would be relying on them that much more.
Then Jace gave a bold suggestion to the team that made the coach shake in fear and excitement.
Jace his brother and his 2 friends would move down 4 spots in the batting order.
Caleb , Joe, and Theo all had a 95 percent on base and Jace had a 100 percent.
The theory was aslong as 1 of the first 3 get on it's almost guaranteed 4 runs.
The next day the whole team showed up for a unscheduled practice to get use to the new set up.
The coach showed up an was surprised to see that the team was there and that they looked good with the new positioning.
Theo was playing catcher and he was wondering how that would work after him getting tired from pitching.
Then he saw remember no one has stolen a base on Jace yet and even if they did they would have to also steal home.
His thought was correct to a point then he realized for the first time that both Jace and Theo were throwing with their non regular hand and it looked just as good as there normal hand.
He knew Jace could do it even though he only does It in practice but what about Theo when did he learn how to do it.
What only The brothers knew was that every night when they were at home while Jace would lift weights and then meditate on both of his powers. He had Theo practice with with his non dominant arm till he could use it as well.
When the team took a break he saw the 4 freshmen all gathered talking about it and that's when the coach realized that The 4 of them Caleb, Joe, and the two brothers were the core of the team and that the rest just worked around them making the team look good from every aspect.
