14 CH 14

On Theo's last day of therapy the team had a game and Jace played center field till the last inning the pitcher let the opposing team team close it to a one run game.

With 0 outs Jace took the mound and after the the practice pitches the first pitch got popped up to Matt for an out.

The 2nd batter popped up to caleb. The last batter went down swinging at a mixture of fastballs. The 3rd batter fouled off a few balls before striking out letting Jace' team win.

After the game Jace found Janine and they both left to go pick up Steve and Theo. Once every one got home they ate as a family.

Steve told the family that he would be out of town for atleast a month starting the next day and that he should be back in 2 months.

Both the boys went upstairs and started playing some video games for about an hour before Theo told Jace that he wanted to form a 2 way battery with him now that he could walk.

They both stayed up most of the night discussing how it would work and they came to the conclusion that they would both have to work on catching.

Jace would have to teach Theo how to throw a sinker and a slider. Before all that Jace made a strict work out program for the both of them to start doing after the dance that was scheduled for the next day.

After school the next day there was no practice so Jace gave some dancing advice from his past life to Theo but Theo couldnt grasp it that well.

Witch led to Theo dancing with their mom on the living room till time to get changed. When it came time the 3 of them got in the car and picked up Brittany and Analese.

Once they were at the dance they went and claimed a table. Caleb found them fast and brought his girlfriend over with him.

Shortly after Joe found them and brought his date over as well. After talking for a while all the girls dismissed them selves and went to the restroom together causing the 4 guys to laugh.

Because of Theos remarkable recovery speed Caleb and hoe worriedly asked if he was ok to be dancing already.

All 4 laughed when Theo told them while he might be awful at it his legs will be fine but he could do no worse than Matt was currently doing.

In the middle of the gym Matt was dancing by him self way off beat witch was causing his girlfriend to hide her face and try not to laugh.

Once the girls got back all the other guys got dragged away at the same time leaving just Jace and Analese.

Although the 2 of them have been talking for almost a month they had yet to make it official witch was bothering Analese.

Seeing his date continually look away Jace finally asked her what was on her mind. She asked him if he liked her more than friends or was that all they were.

Instead of giving her a direct answer Jace smirked at her and led her to the DJ and asked him to play a slow song.

The DJ immediately switched the song. After all when the biggest star of the baseball team ask for a favor why would you say no.
