20 Kaylah’s Suffering.

After Kaylahs' display, Mike was livid, in fact, it has gone past the point of acting this clan clearly upset him. However, Mike keeps the act going, and that is because he was afraid for his life. Kaylah looks at Mike and catches on to these emotions, and feels a pain in her chest, a sense of loss, yet there is nothing she can do. She feels like she did not understand, his side.

(He is a genius far more talented than me!) He can see the meaning of this, there is nothing a mortal can do to her, in fact she had to brag about being the at the bottom of the cultivation world!

Mike just looks at Kaylah and asks if he is free to go. She states that "I'm sorry Mike ill have someone escort you out, and far as what you saw the government knows of people like us, no should harm you if you speak about this in the outside world, but you would likely be viewed as insane. I plead of you, not to share the advanced set of martial arts."

Mike nodded his head and was escorted out of the building.

Kaylah's legs have wobbled, she feels shame and a sense of loss, and most of all she has betrayed her clan, she allowed her pride to allow her to leak her clans' martial secrets to the mortal world. Worst of all, the one she leaked too clearly views them like trash! Something to be learned in an afternoon, he did not say it but is it not clear!? She betrayed his purpose of coming here; he wanted to feel safe, but that is clearly impossible for him now!

(Worst of all mike sent a video showcasing our normal martial arts, and a teaser for our advanced martial arts, to the government, it was a genius move one which keeps his promise with me, and gives himself protection should he killed by my clan! What hurts me the most, is that this makes me feel such a sense of loss...)

(He could likely infer that if he died that the government would investigate his death. He titles the video "Afraid of death"! We only know this because we have a student in the police force.)

I have been in this room for a few hours, now thinking of nothing more than mike, my grandpa likely does not know of the video yet, it's time to face the music.

"Grandpa!"

Kaylah's grandpa looked toward her and saw the tears fell from her eyes and notices it is a state of shame, not because someone was rude to her.

"Grandpa! I'm sorry!"

Kaylah explains the events that happened to her grandpa, and how her pride allowed her to leak some of the clan's martial arts, but pleads for his safety.

He, explains to her, that the video Michael posted, is like a gun to our head it would be foolish for the clan to harm him if anything, he feels they should protect mike at this point.

Kaylah looked toward her grandpa and asked: "what is my punishment?"

He looks toward Kaylah and replies "what is the point of that? You will take care of that for me."

Kaylah looked at her grandpa for a second or two, and suddenly her chest hurt as if a dagger just entered her heart. She suddenly knows that Mike is her first love...

(I was always judging him negatively for trying to flirt with me, but the truth is I was thinking about it, I deflected my desires onto him and repaid it with disgust, God I am such a fool.)

She asks her grandpa "What should I do?"

Grandpa looks at Kaylah with a sorrowful expression and says "Make sure what your feeling is true, and if it is, explain it to him and deal with it from there."
