10 chapter 9

Scott stepped down at the threat I ran faster than most could see and was out the door heading to the New York sanctum. When I reached there the door was opened and a bald man was there waiting.

He said "the ancient one has been expecting you. Come we don't have much time."

I entered and he led me to the door portals I entered the middle one and an old man was there. He nodded his head and looked from me to jean.

I said, "lead me to ancient one I don't have time for your tests."

He nodded and led me to a room with a bald woman there. I stepped forward and spoke

"Ancient one this girl has the phoenix force. A man Charles Xavier blocked her emotions and to an extent the phoenix force thus corrupting it. If we do not act soon, she will be corrupted, and this world will be at jeopardy."

The ancient one looked shocked then angry.

Ao "the phoenix force is supposed to be a force of goodness and some man corrupted it. Had this gone any further not only this world, but the universe could have been in jeopardy. Quickly let me see her."

I hand jean over like she weighed nothing. Ancient one put her hand over jean. She shook her head.

Ao "this isn't good the force is nearly completely corrupted. We need to communicate with it to see if we can calm it. then the corruption should dissipate, or we could go a less conventional route and beat it into submission, but that would be hard without the power to do it."

"I can try the first option if it doesn't work then I will use force."

Ao" what makes you think you could talk to it much less beat it."

"Because I am certain that i can reach out to the little bit of good left in the corruption."

i know i can't defeat the phenix force

it was one of the strongest beings in this multiverse. However, if all else fails I can just trap her in my personal world.

The ancient one looks at me and said "I will do everything I can to contain her from out here. Try not to die."

Before I could respond she hit my chest and I leave my body and am in my astral form which is oozing power. Then she sent me toward Jean.

I look around and see myself in space except I can breathe as I am looking around, I see a colossal phoenix made of fire with Jean at its heart.

Phoenix force "how dare a mortal like you enter my domain."

I said "phoenix force I didn't mean to intrude, but I had to. You see your host happens to be my friend and your awaking is harming her. I'm here to ask you to stop."

Phoenix force "why should I listen to a weakling like you. I will do as I please mortal."

I said "I tried to ask you nicely, now I'm telling you to stop this you aren't yourself you have been corrupted. If you continue this path, you will destroy this world and I can't let this happen."

Phoenix force "a mere mortal thinks that he can match me."

I start letting my alpha aura leak and I say, "I know I am more than a match for you."
