15 14th Quirk : Dinner

Croc and Setsuna soon arrived at the ramen shop. It wasn't big but it could hold at least 20 people. There were currently 3 other people already there. Besides the Chef an his assistant.

Setsuna : You buy tickets over there.

Setsuna went towards what looked like a vending machine. It had different kinds of ramen on display. She was about to insert her money to buy a ticket but Croc stopped her.

Croc : Let me buy it.

Setsuna : It's fine, I can buy my own.

Croc : I insist I invited you here after all.

Setsuna : But I don't want to be rude and make you pay for me even though we just met.

Croc and Setsuna were staring at each other not willing to budge. Croc then had an idea and put his closed fist in front of Setsuna. Setsuna seeing this nodded and did the same.

Croc/Setsuna : Rock Paper Scissors!

Setsuna went rock and Croc went paper.

Croc : Haha I pay! 'I beat death at this so there is no way I'll lose.'

Setsuna : aww.

Setsuna looked heartbroken. One of the customers was watching the interaction with a confused smile.

Random : 'Shouldn't the winner not have to pay?'

Croc : What kind do you want?

Setsuna : Spicy shoyu...

Croc : Don't be sad, after all how can a guy make such a pretty girl pay for dinner.

Setsuna looked away from his comment

Setsuna : Fine but next time I gotta pay for you!

Croc : If you pay next time how about a homemade meal?

Random : 'This kid is smoother than me!'

Setsuna looked at Croc and nodded.

Setsuna : You better eat it!

Croc : I will if it's from you.

Random : 'FU*K!'

Croc got his ticket and they both went sit down. Setsuna had her head tilted a bit so no one could see her completely red face covered by her hair.

Setsuna : 'What did I just agree to?! Is he just playing with me or is he serious? AHHH this is so embarrassing!'

On the other side Croc was waiting for his ramen with a calm smile on his face. But on the inside it he was anything but calm.

Croc : 'I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS STRING OF EVENTS HAPPENED BUT I GOT PROMISED HOMEMADE FOOD BY A CUTE GIRL! I just said what I thought felt right and I don't regret it! Wait! I'm not a lolicon just because she's 12 right?! I mean I'm also 12 so I think it's okay.'

Not long after their food was put on the table in front of them. They both said thanks and started eating. Croc also started talking to Setsuna while eating.

Croc : Do you go to school around here? I go to Musutafu Middle School.

Setsuna : Isn't that a private school?

Croc : No its a different school they just have similar names. The one I go to is a public school.

Setsuna : Oh well I go to West Heart Girls Private school.

Croc : Well I had no idea I was in the presence of such a posh young lady.

Setsuna : Please don't say that! It's not my choice to go there...

Setsuna seemed a bit sad when she said this.

Croc : Sorry I didn't mean anything bad by it.

Setsuna : It's fine I just don't like to be categorized with those students. They are all so uptight and they think a lot of people are below them.

Croc : Well if that's how you see them as, I'll trust you. But there has to be someone that is nice there right?

Setsuna : There are some nice people but I just won't get along with them.

Croc : Why don't you quit then?

Setsuna : It's a family issue...

Croc : Ah okay well if that's it I won't force you but if you ever need to talk you already have my number. If you ever need help I will also do so.

Setsuna : Thanks, I just have to focus on my studies though so I won't need any help for a while.

Croc : If you need help studying I can help.

Setsuna : Thanks but this may be a bit over you.

Croc : I may not look like it but I was top of the district in elementary school and I can probably do the same for middle school.

Setsuna : Haha sure if I need your help I'll call...

Croc : Your noodles are getting soggy.

Setsuna : What no!

Setsuna didn't have the same energy she usually put out when she talked about school and her family. She also didn't smile like she would normally.

Croc : 'I don't know what kind of situation you're in but I want to protect you. I don't know why I want to protect you so much but I have never felt more right about anything in my lives.'

5 Minutes later both were finished eating and were leaving. Both walked the same direction Croc was right behind Setsuna.

Croc : Do you eat out often?

Setsuna : No I usually only eat food I cook but sometimes I just don't want to cook and go out to eat. There is also a pastry place nearby that is really great. You should go there when you have nothing to do.

It didn't take long and they both arrived at the same apartment. They then both went in the elevator. they then both went to press the same button. Setsuna looked at Croc questioningly but Croc just shrugged that its a coincidence. Walking down the hallway the first to stop was Croc. Setsuna walked about 15 steps and stopped as well. Their apartments were separated by only one other.

Croc : I wasn't expecting this.

Setsuna : Neither was I goodnight.

Setsuna was about to open her door until she heard Croc walking towards her. She looked with questioning gaze but Croc outstretched his hand towards her face. She was gonna pull back but she felt like it would be okay. Croc then used his pointer fingers and made her mouth smile and said.

Croc : I don't know what happened to you but what I do know is that your smile is much more beautiful then your frown.

Croc said all this with a big happy smile on his face. He then took back his hands and walked into his apartment. Setsuna also entered hers and closed her door. When she did she crouched on the ground and with a pure red face and huge smile muttered.

Setsuna : Idiot...
