13 12th Quirk : Meeting

While looking around, Croc looked for a convenience store, in case he needed to buy food later. After a few minutes he found one, and nearby was also a manga shop and hobby shop. Seeing these he was quite excited for his future projects. Croc would normally exercise and train all the time but 2 Years ago he seemed to encounter a "wall" and his muscles just won't get stronger normally. He could train his transformation and his Hana hana ability but he just couldn't strengthen his base normal muscles at all. Croc believes this is due to his young age and the fact be isn't fully grown yet.

Croc : This place is quite peaceful. Maybe this is a good place to nap.

Croc had found a 15 ft tall tree with a good branch that he thought would be a good spot to nap. He first went to his 5 ft form and slowly made his way up until he was on the branch and proceeded to lay down. The tree was in a small clean alley leading directly to the apartment area. The tree itself had 1 large branch, that Croc was currently sleeping on, directly over the alley.

---1 Hour Later---

Croc is currently peacefully sleeping while dreaming about fighting a large red haired man with a monster on his back. Croc was also mumbling in his sleep.

Croc : I'll beat you father...

While in his fantasy, a person was walking down the alley. They seemed to be quite mad and were ranting to themselves.

??? : Stupid stupid stupid! He's so stupid! His stupid face and stupids dumb a*s grin! I'll show that b*stard. When I win the bet he will have to leave me alone. STUPID!

With the last stupid, the person kicked the tree that currently had a sleeping crocodile in it.

Croc : Wha- WHat- Ahhh

*Slam*

Croc landed face first on the concrete. He was in a sort of daze since he just woke up.

??? : Hey are you okay?! Sorry about that I didn't know anyone was up there!

Croc looked up to see a dark green haired girl looking sorrily at him.

Croc : Beautiful...

Croc seemed to still be in a daze looking at the dark green haired girl in front of him.

??? : W-What?!

The green haired girl got embarrassed by the compliment. Croc also got out of his daze and quickly got up dusted himself off

Croc : I'm fine what about you?

As Croc got up the girl seemed to turn a bit red looking at him.

??? : Oh uh, I'm fine nothing touched me! But are you sure you're okay your shirt is ruined!

Although she was embarrassed she was still worried about Croc who may have ruined his shirt from the fall.

Croc : Oh this it happened before I fell don't worry about it. Are you heading home now? it's quite late.

??? : Yeah, my club just finished! What about you? You don't look familiar are you not from around here?

The girl seemed to start becoming more happy and cheery seeing that Croc was really okay and had a large smile on her face.

Croc : No but I'm planning to get an apartment near here.

Croc responded as naturally as he could.

??? : Aren't you too young to have an apartment?

Croc : I won't live there it will just be a studio.

??? : A studio for what?

Croc : Hobbies and my job mostly.

??? : Well sorry again for knocking you down...

Thinking about what she did the girl started o become embarrassed again.

Croc : Don't worry I probably shouldn't be sleeping there. But I have to say you really hit the tree hard. Did you hit it with something?

??? : No I Kicked it...

The girl looked pretty embarrassed when she said this. But Croc didn't mind.

Croc : So if asking is rude but is your quirk what allowed you to hit so hard?

??? : No, I exercise quite a lot! One of the ways also happens to train my kicking a bit. 'Why am I so embarrassed around this person?'

She looked even more embarrassed and her face a bright pink shade.

Croc : If that's the case want to exercise together sometimes? They say its much more enjoyable with others.

All the embarrassment seemed to fade away when Croc asked and she smiled and said

??? : Sure but I hope you can keep up!

Croc : 'Cute!' Here this is my number if you want to call or text I'm pretty much always near my phone. Oh and I never introduced myself. I'm Croc Belua you can call me Croc since I don't like being called my last name. Nice to meet you...

??? : Setsuna! Setsuna Tokage! Y-Y-You can also call me Setsuna!

Croc : Well nice to meet you Setsuna. I think we can be great friends... Or maybe even more.

Croc said the last part under his breath, but Setsuna heard it.

Setsuna : 'Maybe...'

Setsuna had a slight blush as she got a paper and pen from her pocket and wrote down something.

Setsuna : Here you can text me too if you feel bored or if you just want to talk! I better get going I need to make dinner! Bye Croc!

Croc : Bye Setsuna!

As Setsuna left Croc went in the opposite direction and turned a corner.

*PPPPPSSSSSSS*

Croc : *Pant**Pant* 'WHY DID SUCH A CUTE GIRL HAVE TO APPEAR SO SUDDENLY.'

Croc couldn't handle holding his transformation any longer from nervousness and embarrassment. He went all the way back to his normal form, black hair included. He then sat up against a nearby wall and muttered.

Croc : I hope I wasn't awkward...

*Pat**Pat**Pat*

Croc : 'Dammit! Didn't I have this thing under control already!'

While Croc was trying to calm down, not too far away Setsuna was also up against a wall with a very red face and both hands covering her face.

Setsuna : 'This feeling in my chest... What is it!'

Setsuna was feeling something in her chest while being near Croc that felt like it drew her in. She then started thinking about what he said.

Setsuna : Maybe even more...

With those words echoing in her head, Setsuna made her way home.

---1 Day Later---

Croc had some trouble falling asleep thinking about yesterdays encounter and now was a bit restless. He was now sitting at the breakfast table with a bit of a sour mood. This didn't go unnoticed by his grandparents though.

Fugaku : Whats wrong, I haven't seen you this slumped since you couldn't buy that manga 3 years ago.

Croc hearing his grandpas comment looked up and saw both Chiyo and Fugaku were looking at him waiting for a reply.

Croc : Uh well I just think I was a bit awkward when I met someone yesterday.

Fugaku : It's a girl.

Chiyo : Yup. It must be quite the girl too for him to have an interest.

Fugaku : Maybe this is why he wants an apartment... *Sigh* They grow up so fast...

Croc was sweating bullets when he heard this.

Croc : 'What are you insinuating grandpa!'

Fugaku : It's alright to be awkward after all everyone starts somewhere. Who knows maybe the girl is interested. If you like the girl try and talk to her a bit every once in a while but never be too pushy or else you could creep her out unless she already likes you. But you better wait till you are older for anything too intimate, you're an aspiring doctor you know what I mean.

Chiyo : You sound like you're speaking from experience.

Fugaku : Who said I'm not.

Fugaku said this with a smile while looking at Chiyo who also smiled in return. Croc wasn't watching them and was instead deciding how he should try and get closer to Setsuna.

Croc : 'Would that be too pushy? I gotta try...'

After breakfast Croc still had a bit of time and decided to text Setsuna.

Croc : [Good morning have a good day!] ->Setsuna

After about 5 minutes Croc got a reply.

Setsuna : [I wasn't sure who this was at first. Good morning and have a nice day too!] ->Croc

Although it wasn't much, Croc was over the moon that he got a reply.

Croc : This is gonna be a great day!

Croc then left for his morning run and to go to school. School went like normal he even met up with Testu during lunch for the first time. Since their classes are a bit far from each other they haven't found a great spot to hang out until now. He even told Tetsu about meeting Setsuna but he didn't seem to put it to mind for long before they finished eating and went back to class. When Croc got back he received a text from Hitoshi about leaving his friends for a girl and made it super dramatic. Croc just replied that when Hitoshi finds a girl he like he will be sure to send her a bouquet of roses to her under his name. Hitoshi gave up because he knows Croc really would.

After school Croc made it back to the apartment and the same lady from the day before was there. She then asked another person to watch the desk while she goes with Croc to look at the apartment. When Croc got there, besides some dust there wasn't any noticeable problems so he inquired about the neighbors.

Lady : The neighbors are quite quiet. On the left is an office worker who comes home quite late and doesn't spend much time there. and on the right is a family of 3 that includes a 2 year old child. Below you is currently unoccupied and above is a retired hero.

Croc : I think I'll take it. Tomorrow I'll come back with my grandfather to sign it under his name.

Lady : Okay I'll be here at the same time tomorrow.

Walking back home Croc was hoping a bit that he would run into Setsuna, alas his hope was unanswered. When he got home he told Fugaku about going for the purchase the next day and he agreed. Fugaku also inquired about the apartment to which Croc answered everything.
