11 10th Quirk : The Start Of A Legend

The next day was like any other except with a lot more after training pain. But Croc got used to feeling sore muscles. He could help it heal faster but his grandpa said that his muscles won't grow as much if he does, unless he increases his actual healing factor somehow. Going towards the kitchen Croc could smell his grandpas cooking from across the house. Going in the kitchen he sees his grandma and grandpa waiting for him.

Fugaku : Right on time I just finished.

Chiyo : Coco boya you had quite the day yesterday. You were already sleeping by the time I got home.

Croc : 'That was grandpas fault though.'

Talk at breakfast was something all of them did every morning. It became a sort of tradition and if Croc overslept he would get woken up by a bucket of water hitting his face and a yelling about staying up late. Though it was true, he wished it wasn't water that woke him up since he has to clean his bedding after. Today was similar to any other day but Croc had something important to say to his grandparents.

Croc : Grandpa, Grandma I am gonna start writing manga.

Chiyo and Fugaku were not expecting this since the only thing he has done in the past was laze around, train with Fugaku. or train on his own. When he trained on his own he would train other martial arts from mangas that he remembered.

Fugaku : Why so suddenly?

Croc : Well I wanted my own income and I kinda want to rent an apartment if you can help me...

Chiyo : What! Why would you need an apartment you're 12 years old!

Croc : Don't get the wrong idea! I want an apartment so I can have my own studio for my hobbies in the future I don't want to move out or anything.

Chiyo was thinking it over but Fugaku started talking before she could

Fugaku : Are you sure about this? This is not just a simple thing to buy and be done with. You will have to make payments and not miss a single payment or else I won't help you anymore until you are old enough to move out.

Croc : I'm sure.

Croc said with a firm tone while looking at Fugaku.

Fugaku : Fine, if you can get the money I will rent it under my name for you until you are old enough to rent it yourself.

Croc : I won't let you down!

Chiyo seeing this just sighed

Chiyo : Why are the men in this family so stupid and reckless.

Fugaku : Since I have you to stop me from being stupid why should I need to worry.

The rest of breakfast went normally and it was time to walk to school which was twice as far as his last one. Chiyo didn't drive him since it wasn't on the way and also Croc likes to walk there. School went normally with a certain girl sneaking glances and a few boys glaring jealously in response. Croc was able to have lunch and a small rest in peace this time, and soon school was over. Croc once again went downtown but this time he went to an art supply store to get what he needed. Luckily Croc worked doing odd jobs during summer. At that time he changed to his normal form to look more mature so that people would give him more difficult work they wouldn't give children. He even made himself look a bit older then his normal form as well.

Getting his necessary supplies Croc started going home. Walking down a few alleys he found a nice quiet area. He also saw a few apartments but he didn't see anything concrete yet(except the ground). Making his way back home didn't take much longer and soon he was in his room readying everything to start.

Croc : 'Now which one should I start with. I have been training using these for years but which to start. How about...'

In his previous life Croc was an avid reader of fighting manga and dedicated himself to it until Hero Academy came out and took his number 1 spot from the sheer potential humans have in this world as well as the graphic ways of presenting society as a whole. After all its not everyday you see something so blatant about discrimination from just the way someone is born. This world has a lot of messed up parts to it and whether it can be fixed is one of the hardest questions because humanity at the core is evil and manipulative but there are redeeming qualities to it too. It just can be quite hard to find sometimes without clouding your own vision.

Drawing the manga from his memory was a bit difficult at first and he even threw pages away all together when he wasn't satisfied, but after 3 hours he finally had 10 pages finished. Although he has a lot left he is way faster then a normal manga artist. What he does in 20 minutes usually take people hours. He is able to do this thanks to his keen hand eye coordination as well as his clear memory. Croc also decided to color and smooth out everything which surprisingly took only 2 hours. So in 5 hours he drew, smoothed and colored 10 pages for the manga.

Croc : 'This is way faster then I ever could have imagined... I'm hungry... FUCK DID I MISS DINNER!'

Croc quickly ran downstairs to see a covered plate with food on it and a note that says

-Don't spend all your time drawing and forget to eat - Grandpa

Croc seeing this was a bit touched.

Croc : I love my family.

Fugaku : You better!

Croc could hear Fugaku yell from the other room to his comment, and was a bit embarrassed but ate his dinner anyway. Afterwards Croc decided to hold off on reading his manga at night so that he could focus on drawing his own, even if the backlog will be painful.

Croc : 'I have to give up on you for now so I can spread the greatness of the manga from my world. But I will be back.'

If anyone could see him, they would see a 12 year old boy holding a manga while a single tear falls down his face as he puts the book away on a shelf.
