9 Bunnies

They arrived at Top Agency Management. What surprised Yi Fei the most is that Top Agency Management was right above Mochi Mon! Yi Fei always wondered why Mochi Mon was in a five-story building yet never used any of their other floors. Turns out Owner Huo had two businesses in one building!

"Let me show you around," Owner Huo spoke, leading the way with his long legs.

Yi Fei scuttered behind Owner Huo, her eyes glimmering with curiosity as she took the upward steps. In a matter of a few seconds, she arrived at the second floor.

"Here is our offices. The third floor is our dancing and recording studios, and the fourth floor is our dorms." Owner Huo commented. "We'll go to my office first."

The second floor was just one big hallway with many glass offices. Walking on the reflective marble floor, Yi Fei could see into every single office room. Each office room was unique in their own way, but all had a maple wood desk coupled with a black leather chair. One room had little tiny bunny characters all over the place, including stickers, tiny figurines, and stuffed animals. A strict-looking girl was inside, working her long fingers on the rose gold computer. She had the typical look of a secretary, but who would know that she loved bunnies so much?

The secretary-looking girl looked up, locking eyes with Yi Fei. Yi Fei was startled, and the girl immediately stood up with her fierce black eyes. She seemed to be going for Yi Fei and Yi Fei was in a state of panic.

'Is she looking at me?? Why is she approaching?! I didn't do anything wrong!' Yi Fei put up both of her arms instinctively, surrendering.

However, the girl simply went past Yi Fei and straight to Owner Huo instead.

"CEO Huo!" The lady furiously shouted, crossing her arms over her blue-black suit. "Where have you been? I told you we have a meeting at 3! Do you know what time it is? It's already f**king 2:30!!!"

"Hahaha..." Owner Huo laughed nervously. "Yes, I arrived 30 minutes early. Isn't that great?"

"VERY FUNNY CEO HUO!" The lady was vicious with her words. "I told you... that you needed to arrive at least 2 hours earlier so we can go over our investment plan! Now we only have 30, no 25 minutes dammit!"

"I'm sorry, Secretary Lim. I was checking up on my other businesses and got caught up," Owner Huo tried to find an excuse for himself. "Look, I found a potential trainee!"

The lady finally recognized the young girl behind her. She didn't know why Owner Huo chose such a girl. She wasn't very attractive and looked very malnourished. She could spot a few pimples here and there, and her face was simply dull as they came. However, the lady immediately mellowed down at the sight of the girl and had a pleasant smile on her face.

"I'm sorry for showing such inappropriate behavior. Can you please excuse CEO Huo and me for just a minute?" The woman asked politely. "Feel free to browse our offices in the time being."

The woman then pulled Owner Huo's tie, obliviously dragging him along to another hallway.

'Now... what should I do?' Yi Fei thought, rubbing the fabric of her skirt.

Yi Fei looked left and right, seeing everyone busy on their feet or on their chairs. She didn't want to bother anyone working and didn't dare to go anywhere else. Her legs were tired from moving around so much and she didn't know if she should go home. School ended at 5 p.m., but no one would be home. Her brother had baseball practice and her father usually came home at 8 p.m.

She breathe a tired sigh, sliding down against the glass wall. She sat, nodding her head off.
