7 Arriving At The Cloud Central

Right now we were camping at about 300 miles away from that village.

The initial plan was to rush back to East cloud Kingdom's capital, Cloud Central using Elize's contracted magical beast which I later came to know was a humungous Ice Lion about ten meter long but the plan came to a half after I heard my stomach's growl. Then I remembered how I haven't eaten for a day.

"Really. You forgot that you haven't eaten for a day? Haha..." Elize simpered, looking at me with mocking pity.

"But didn't you forgot too?" I retorted calmly.

"Well I didn't forget but rather I don't have to eat. I will be fine even if I don't eat for a month."

"Tsk." I picked the sword from her hand and started butchering the rabbit her Lion had caught earlier.

"Aah. Thats my favourite sword. Let me give a butcherer knife." She took out a shining butcher knife, putting it onto my hand, she tactfully took her shining sword back.

I rolled my eyes and continued cutting the meat.

"Do you even know how to cook?" I asked her, not expecting much in return but surprisingly she nodded her head firmly. It might be my imagination but I saw a flash of nervousness on her beautiful countenance.

Will this be her first time cooking? Can I trust her skills or will I sleep with an empty stomach again?

"How is it?" After two hours of me dying with hunger and Elize's panic filled cooking, I was finally served with something.

"It looks... normal." I picked a piece of meat and nibbled on it.

My eyes flashed with surprise. I thought it was the case of me being hungry, so I picked up another piece under Elize's expectant gaze and put in all in my mouth.

No! I wasn't wrong! Its... actually good.

I looked at Elize weirdly. Does she have a talent for cooking? That was certainly unexpected.

"Its good. You should try it too." I said in amused tone and began eating quickly.

Her face bloomed listening to my compliment. Sitting next to me, she ate calmly while looking at my face occasionally. I asked her to quit doing it but she kept doing it regardless. At the end I could only give up.

I guess no one will understand the thoughts of a woman in love.

Although I desired to experience another night of soul-calming carnal pleasure, it wasn't going to happen. Our work at village was done quite early so Elize wanted to rush back to not arouse any suspicion. With her Ice Lion's flying capabilities, we could reach the Cloud Capital by tomorrow evening.

"Are you ready?" She insinuated while patting the back of Ice Lion which was glaring at me like it couldn't wait to get ahold me. It seems like Elize takes pleasure in my misfortune.

"Yeah." I sighed and carefully got onto the magical beast's back. Just when I thought it wasn't as bad as I imagined, with a flap of wings, we started travelling at a shocking speed of 300mph.

We took couple stops between our journey to let the 4th Grade Magical Beast rest, but other than that, it was tiresome seventeen hour journey.

"Noir." I sensed a soft hand gently moving through my scalp when I heard the voice. It produced a very calming sensation.

"What is it?" Without opening my eyes, I groaned lightly.

"We are here." She giggled charmingly seeing my state.

"Hmm... yawn!" I opened my heavy eyelids begrudgingly before it was snapped open in sheer surprise.

"Is this?"

"Yeah. We are about pass through Duchess Barley territory's border and enter the Cloud Capital. It is the biggest city in the East Cloud Kingdom which is controlled by the Royal Family. All the major associations and businesses headquarters are situated here."

While Elize was speaking, I was moving my eyes around. Even though we were flying through clouds, I couldn't see the end of city with my naked eyes. I can be sure this was as big as a country or two from my previous world.

"How far does it stretches?" I asked and halted Elize's rambling.

"Over 10,000Km." Seeing that I wasn't paying attention to her words, she pouted and turned her face away.

Although the statistics were shocking, I completely believed her. "What is that? The Royal Castle or something?"

I pointed towards a massive structure which to me seems like it was situated at the centre.

"Actually it is. How did you guess?"

"Dunno. I just had the feeling." Even from here, I can feel the Imperial vibe emitting from that place. The Royal Castle alone took more than 5% of the total area of this capital.

"Don't we need to stop by the gate?" I said when we passed through the main gate of the city.

"Its fine. They know my beast and as a Royal Guard's Head, I do have quite some authority."

"If you say so. What are we doing next? I assume you need to report back?"

"Yeah. I will drop you by a friend's place first."

"Is it a male or female?" I joked.

She looked at me seriously.

"What is it?" I was taken aback by her weird behaviour.

After some seconds of silence, she suddenly leaned down against my chest and whispered seductively. "That person has a pussy."

Gulp!

Yep, this is sexy. Didn't expect our Ice Queen to behave like that. But by the shade of red that covered her face subsequently, it looks like she didn't either.

"We are about to descend." She coughed to get the embarrassment out of her system.

Ensuingly, the Ice Lion started dropping down.

I finally saw seeing the signs of human life after two whole days. At a glance, I understood the dressing fashion for women consisted of Blouse and Skirt, and that too was rather... open. Much amount of flesh was clearly visible of their legs and shoulders. I also felt that not many males were present here. The proportion was definitely imbalanced.

"Elize, do you know the percentage of man to woman in the Cloud Capital?"

She thought for a second. "As I remember it was about 1 male to 2 female."

So only about 33.33% were male and rest 66.66% were females. It was more than imbalanced, how do they control their population growth rate?

"We are here!" Elize grabbed me by my waist and jumped down from the flying magical beast. I was already too used to her sudden action by now to even squeak, much to her disappointment.

The magical beast disappeared in thin air. I heard Elize that you can store your contracted beast in your spacial rings. But it can't hold any other living things.

Fortunately the sun had already set ten minutes ago, so although the street were jam-packed with lights on regular interval, Elize could still walk through the crowd unrecognised. She also had wore a cloak which hid her face and figure completely, along with me.

After five minutes of walking, we entered a gully. It was quite desolate. Then she stopped.

Knock! Knock!

I looked up. The building was relatively small and it seems to be some kind of book store. I naturally couldn't read what was written on the sign board, and this begs the question: how come I can communicate with Elize and other if I don't their language?

This question, along with many others was going to remain unanswered for quite some time, I had this feeling.

Knock! Knock!

Elize was already knocking the fuck of the door, if she used a bit of more power, it would probably break!

"Ah! God damn it! We are closed, can't you see the sign." A yell of angry woman drummed our ears. It was imbued with magical energy. Fortunately, Elize was fast enough and easily blocked the wave of Aero Magic, otherwise my eardrums would have bursted.

"Are you alright?" Elize touched my face frantically to search for any damage.

"Yeah. I am fine." I nodded. Just this small interaction told me how ruthless people of this world were!
