Kevin Walker. A 26 year old normal citizen on the earth. Despite his hard-work and efforts he ultimately became a failure in his life.

"People say's that hard-work will always pays off. But they forgot that it can only take a person to the certain point, after that, you need money and fame and connections to make your dreams come true."

Kevin said out loud while drinking heavily. He was in his room and he started drinking heavily. The reason being, he rejected many jobs to start his own business, but the business did not succeed.

He still would've been accepted it and moved on if he didn't put much effort into it, but he did, many years of hard-work and money are gone just like that, just because a big company have some problems with Kevin's land where he started business.

He pleaded to them but to no avail and he got kicked out from his own land. His family stopped talking to him and he just become a drunker.

He entered his balcony and looked into the sky which is filled with stars.

"Haa, I've at least learnt a good lesson. As long as you have the bigger fist you need not worry about anything, if you're weak, you are the only one responsible for your own mistakes."

He throw away the bottle that is in his hand out from the balcony, entering his room he slept soundly as though this is the peaceful night he slept in long time.

And that night become the last night for our Kevin.

The arkham city is buzzing with various demons doing their daily work.

In the city lords mansion, a man could be seen sleeping on a king sized bed comfortably.

He opened his eyes as the warm sun light fell on his face. Sitting up he rubbed his eyes and exited the bed.

But suddenly a voice sounded in his ears.

[Ding! Host's physique has been completely Awakened and host's training speed will become even faster from here on out.]

He stopped in his place like a rock hearing the system voice. After a moment of silence he bursted out with a laugh.

He sat back on the bed and spoke.

"System show me my profile."

Kevin, no, now his name is Michael. After falling asleep in his room that night, he woke up in the body of a baby demon.

To his suprise he was reincarnated into a world called Nexus. Although he didn't remember much, his unknown parents left him in the streets of the carlmine city as for how he got here, it's a big story.

The Nexus world is very big and it was separated into seven continents, and from the ancient times the humans and demons are at war with eachother.

7 demon kings occupied one of the each seven Continents and started to lead the demons against humans. The Jamara continent is where Micheal was located. The continent was also in the middle of the war between humans and demons. The ice demon queen Isabella was the leader of the demon race in jamara continent and the humans and demons are at tow to tow in the war.

The continent is divided into 3 parts. one is demons territory and another is humans territory and the last one is the deep forest where the forest elf's live and also spirits beasts live. They are a bit weaker than the human and demon races but they choose to be neutral parties in the war.

Michael was left in the streets of the capital city carlmine after his birth, and the passing by demon queen's chariot was stopped and the demon queen herself came out from the chariot and took him to the demon queen's castle.

It is said the demon queen Isabella possesses a unique pair of eyes that can identify the talented individuals. That's why she took him as her disciple.

But to the disappointment of the demon elders and the demon queen, he failed to Awaken his mana essentially making him a cripple.

The elders are angry that he wasted so many resources and demanded the demon queen to kill him. But demon queen Isabella just expelled him from the capital city to a border city called Arkham City and given him the position of the city lord. After all, he was her disciple even if he is a cripple.

Although the Arkham City is a border city, There is a deep forest infront of it making it harder for humans to attack and it's relatively a peaceful city.

When Micheal was banished, he understood, how people judges eachother and his personality took a drastic change. The elders who praised him saying that he was going to be the greatest talent of the demon race started cursing at him because he don't have any talent.

The demon queen who he seen from the childhood and worshipped as a master, banished him to a small city in the corner of the demons territory.

He didn't have any type of hate for her, after all, she could've directly killed him. but after being banished he awakened his golden finger.

The demon Destiny system. It changed his destiny by awakening his dormant physique. The reason he did not Awaken his mana is because He have a physique called void demon Physique.

The void demon Physique was one of the highest ranking physiques in the world, but the problem is, the host won't be able to use mana until it fully Awakens.

3 years has passed since then, and now Micheal is a 19 years old young man but his maturity is much higher since he was a Reincarnater.

Back to the present.

Michael suddenly looked around feeling his body lighten up. Since he can use his mana like any other normal demons now, he will immediately form mana core now.

The people in the Nuxes world get strong by forming a mana core in thier body and making it stronger with practice.

The Nuxes world magical ranks are:

Novice.

warrior.

Master.

Grandmaster.

Sage.

King.

Emperor.

Supreme.

And each realm contains 4 stages.

Low.

Middle.

High.

Peak .

Micheal was able to increase his strength until the novice rank because of the mana stones. After all, his void demon physique absorbs any type of energy making him unable to cultivate.

But the novice rank is a basic rank. You just have to use the mana in the air around you to nourish your body.

After reaching the novice realm peak, you can form a mana core inside your body and enter into the warrior realm.
