Betrayed

"Babe, let's go to the cinema this afternoon".

"Not today, another day maybe."

"That's the third time I've heard that this week. "

"Yes, I know, but I'm really too busy this time, so could you lend me some money? "

" Yes of course what I wouldn't do for you " I hand her some money, she takes it and gives me a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

I was so naive to have believed everything she told me, and as they say, love makes you blind. I was happy to be with her, but she treated me badly and asked me for money all the time, but at 14 you're really stupid.

At the time I wasn't really popular, most people avoided me but I was pretty inteligent, the only thing I was proud of was being with the girl I thought was the most beautiful for me, her name was Lilie, she had red hair and green eyes, she was one of the popular ones, and I was skinny with black greasy hair and brown eyes, I had a rather ordinary style and sometimes I wondered why she was dating me.

"Hey Yuto, let's go home together."

"Yes as usual" he said sharply

I often do the shopping for myself and my little sister and sometimes I even work every day because our parents died when I was 12 and since then I've been taking care of my sister as best I can.

We are walking through the city, the sun is about to set so I might have to hurry a bit, we come to a little shop and my heart stops, I see my girlfriend with another man, she is kissing him passionately, my heart is in my throat and I just want to get lost.

"Yuto, that's not your girlfriend over there" he laughs

"Yes it's her. "

I walk to her side.

"Hey babe " I say sarcastically

"Who is that boy?" asks the boy who is with Lilie

"Oh... you what are you doing here and we're not even together, he gives me money every day" she looks stressed after saying that

"I knew it, leave her alone now and go home, you're just her wallet" said the boy

My heart is tearing into a thousand pieces, I'm in too much pain and I have tears in my eyes, my throat is burning it's like she ripped my heart out and then a minute later my friend comes to join me.

"I'm sorry for you, let's go to our secret base. "

"Yes, that's probably a good idea. "

We had a secret base, we found it when we were little and whenever one of us was sad we'd go there, our secret base was in a forest where there was the biggest tree and next to a cliff we had a hut, we'd get there after a few minutes and then we'd stand on the edge of the cliff.

"I didn't think she would ever do this to me, I loved her so much" I wipe the tears from my eyes.

"Don't worry, she didn't even deserve you. "

"Yes, you're probably right. "

"But on the one hand I understand her, you're so annoying and so naive that you followed me here and thought I was your friend, but I wasn't. "

"What? Tell me that's not true."

"Who wants to be your friend, nobody likes you and with your parents dead it's so boring and today I'm going to do you a favour because you're finally going to join them. "

I start to back away but he takes my hand and then approaches me from the cliff before pushing me

"This is the end for you, you will greet your parents from me. "

I fall, I feel like it takes me forever to hit the ground, I think of all the things I've been through and I tell myself that the ones I trusted the most betrayed me, the only person who wouldn't have betrayed me is my little sister and to think that now no one will take care of her. I close my eyes and then I don't feel anything anymore, well maybe the blood that must be coming out of my body and then nothing, black hole

"Wake up" says a voice I don't know

I open my eyes and look around

"Am I dead? "

"Of course not, you survived"

I look up and first I notice I'm in a cave, I must still be in the forest, then my eyes fall on the person and I see it's a woman and she has blood red eyes and purple hair and I think I even see canine teeth in her mouth

"You've been asleep for a week, I didn't think it would take you that long to recover but at least you're alive."

"Are you a vampire? "

"As you can see, yes, but you're a vampire now too."

"What do you mean a vampire and why did you decide to save me? You could have let me die." I said surprised.

"You were so pitiful that I thought I'd save you and I transform you, and then you didn't care about your sister? "

"How do you know I have a sister? "I said surprised.

"You haven't stopped talking about her in your sleep and then you don't want to get revenge on all the people who have misbehaved with you?"

"I really want to get revenge on them." I stand up

"Well then, take it up with yourself."

"Aren't you going to help me? "

"Um, no, and you're already a vampire, but I'll help you if you do stuff for me."

"Well, I'll do anything you ask me to," I say.

This is how my story begins now I'm a vampire and for the moment I don't see anything that change but maybe in the futur some things will change.
