They exchanged flirty glances... and even teased each other publicly?

Su Xiangwan was speechless, she's never been so wronged!

"Mu Beiting, when did I exchange flirty glances or even play around with him publicly?"

Mu Beiting coldly snorted without answering her question.

Mu Beiting was furious, he gripped onto her wrist and held her in his arms. "So that's your reasoning? Because both of you are unmarried?"

Su Xiangwan steadied herself and raised an eyebrow. "Why shouldn't I have confidence in myself? Believe it or not Mr. Mu, I can just hook my finger, and numerous men who want me would line up for dozens of meters from here."

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting's face darkened a bit more. "I'm not those men."

"I know, that's why I like Mr. Mu so much."

Mu Beiting coldly spoke, however, after hearing directly from her that she likes him, his mood had become inexplicably better.

Su Xiangwan examined his expressions while planning to find a chance to run off.

Mu Beiting lowered the curtains with a remote control and turned off the lights. Immediately, the whole room was in complete darkness.

Her breathing gradually eased, and then, she turned her head quietly, looking at him.

In the darkness of the room, he was very quiet. His eyes were closed and didn't move at all, it was as if he didn't have any intentions of doing anything to her.

Su Xiangwan was a little lost now, she only got more confused as to what this man was thinking.

Could it be that she was only overthinking things?

Did he really drag her over here… just to sleep?

She stared at him for a few solid minutes before she suspiciously looked away. She silently turned over, facing her back towards him. Now that this situation was happening, she couldn't help but scheme.
