23 Chapter 23: Such Tasteless Style

The position as Mrs. Mu could only be her's, there couldn't be any mistakes!

"Ms. Su really is optimistic, you managed to find the next one in only a few days. It seems that Ms. Su's market price really isn't something that we can compare with," Zhao Xinning said with a smile.

Su Xiangwan curled up her lips, the woman used the terms 'optimistic' and 'market price' really well.

So... you want to ridicule me for being slutty and someone who sells herself?

"This must be the future Mrs. Mu." She looked Zhao Xinning up and down. The latter wore a creamy white dress, it was simple and stylish, emitting a sense of purity and gracefulness and yet still composed and elegant.

Su Xiangwan retracted her gaze and played with her hair lightly while looking at Mu Beiting. "Mr. Mu rejected me, which is why I thought you'd go for someone who's an outstanding beauty. I didn't expect you to like someone with such tasteless style."

Zhao Xinning's expression stiffened. "Taste… tasteless style?"

Su Xiangwan smiled. "Yeah, does Ms. Zhao not wear makeup before heading out? Even though advocating natural beauty is a good thing. That's only if you're seventeen or eighteen, if you don't wear make-up, then people would consider you to be pure. However, you look like you're at least twenty-seven or eight. Just look at your laugh lines, they're already so deep, it's better for you to wear some makeup when you head out. After all, even if you don't care about your face, you should still consider Mr. Mu's position, right?"

"Twenty… twenty-seven or eight?" Zhao Xinning's nose was nearly crooked in anger.

She was only twenty-three years old! This was a really good age. Yet, what Su Xiangwan said was that she was twenty-seven or eight!

Regarding her laugh lines, they're natural! And yet, she said they were on the same level as deep wrinkles!

As soon as she finished speaking, everyone's gaze all fell on Zhao Xinning's face. But one had to admit, based only on her appearance alone, Zhao Xinning was indeed worthy of being elegant and pure, as well as composed and clean, she was a true beauty.

Unfortunately, Su Xiangwan was simply too dazzling, she displayed all of her charms.

"But doesn't people who seem flirty and wild still better than someone who's actually flirty and wild and yet still likes to pretend that they're pure? Don't you think, Ms. Zhao?" Su Xiangwan smiled sweetly.

Zhao Xinning's face turned ghostly. "Su Xiangwan! What are you trying to say here!"

"Oh, what are you so agitated about? I wasn't talking about you, why does it seem like I stepped on somewhere that hurt?" Su Xiangwan blinked innocently, her watery eyes were like two gems in the night.

Mu Beiting's gaze was on her face the whole time, merely thinking that her expression on her small face was really vivid and lively, she looked extremely adorable. It was just like a little beast baring their fangs and brandishing their claws.

"Su Xiangwan, don't go too far!"

"But then again, I actually do want to be a flirty and wild woman, too bad I can never be compared with Ms. Zhao." Su Xiangwan appeared to be envious.

Zhao Xinning was getting nervous and glanced subconsciously at Mu Beiting, she was scared that he might misunderstand.

However, she saw that he didn't react at all, and instead, his gaze was locked on Su Xiangwan.

"Su Xiangwan, don't think that I don't know what you're trying to do. Aren't you just trying to pour all the dirty water on me to ruin my relationship with Beiting?"

Su Xiangwan curled her lips and looked at Mu Beiting. "Then, is Mr. Mu being affected?"

Everyone's gaze fell on Mu Beiting. After all, everyone could tell that both of these women's relationship with Mu Beiting wasn't shallow at all, this made his attitude appear to be more important.
