Alas, my legacy ends here! Cheers to another!

Aaron sat on a tree stump, frustrated at his current predicament.

"After years of practicing... Why is it I can't ascend any further? Is this the limit of the human body? Have I finally reached the pinnacle of magic?" A disgruntled wizard sat, stroking his long white beard. Aaron had reached his limit. At 400 years old, he had finally reached the top of what is possible for him. He sighed, a warm puff of air traversing throughout the land. Within the continent existed three primary powers, those being, the "Holy Kingdom", "Barbarian Kingdom", and "Beastmen Kingdom". Each Kingdom holding extraordinary influence and strength. A balance had been established with a peace treaty between the three powers, however, with more conflicts arising due to the distribution of land, these peaceful times were bound to change. Aaron contemplated the thought of war constantly.

Slowly stroking his beard once more, Aaron calmly spoke,

"With time comes war... I'm afraid my frail and old body will not be able to withstand much more... I have truly reached my absolute peak. Alas, I am still human..."

Having realized his crushing defeat at the hands of nature, Aaron's eyes darkened. He sat, finally taking time to admire the glory of nature. The setting sun illuminated his glossy black robe, he simply stared. Having resigned to his fate, Aaron sat on the tree stump, absorbing the mana around him at an incredulous rate. Mana existed everywhere, even in other species, and was constantly produced by nature. Aaron acted as a wormhole, absorbing all of the mana around him.

After a few hours, Aaron spat out a mouthful of blood. It was his limit. Aaron had forcefully fatally injured himself by absorbing mass amounts of mana. "I win nature... I win..." he whispered to himself. He had broken his mana core, which had existed in every mage. Silently coughing, blood had erupted from his orifices. He continued to absorb mana at high rates.

A burst of highly condensed mana shot out from his body. Strong winds erupted, pulling trees from their roots, and decimating the land within a 50-kilometer radius. Aaron Silverheart at age 400 had died due to a self-inflicted explosion.
