Chapter 18: My Coolest Girlfriend

"They are cute, aren't they?" Liz murmured while she observed the little kids enjoying the candies she had just gave them. Some minutes ago, they were pleasantly watching a movie and now they were almost fighting for the remote to change the channel, but it was still cute.

"It is a pleasure taking care of them." Gigi sighted. She hadn't realized that she cared about them until that moment. Of course, she had only been working there for a week and she always knew she liked them, but? She really liked them.

"Out of all the jobs existing in the world, this is the last one I thought you would take. You hate infants" Liz laughed and Gigi was glad that she had changed the subject from that uncomfortable conversation they were having. "Remember when you had to take over Mr. Claxon's class? You almost came running out of there!" Liz clearly remembered every single minute she had passed next to Gigi, even if she sometimes chose to forget them.
