"Moving out isn't easy. I imagine that Gigi struggled a lot with the fact that she had to leave her family, friends, and Liz behind. Right?" Gigi thought it was funny how Joan talked about her past relationship so lightly without putting Liz into the friends or family category.

"It was a nightmare. The first couple of days I wasn't even able to eat or sleep, I was homesick. Luckily I have the coolest roommate ever and she helped me a lot Gigi explained while Liz couldn't take her eyes off her. Could it be possible that Gigi had also had a bad time when she left? She soon realized she had never thought about how Gigi must have felt. For Liz, Gigi did not care at all and she just left to pursue a better life, which was fine, but she hated that she got to be happy and she was still crying laying in bed. Liz had just assumed Gigi was fine and she was the miserable one.
