1 Ms. Thief

Before you'll start the story, I just wanted to say to the readers who open this book and this makes me nervous since this is my first time to write my story so it'll have some gramatical errors and mistakes. So I hope some of you would correct me. English isn't my first language but I have a hard time translating it abit. But don't worry, I'm still learning lol!

◾Evelrya's POV◾

"Stop right there!"

I yelled causing the hooded guy froze. Slowly facing at me. Gotcha!

"Hand me the item you stole." I said sternly with my hands out.

"I said hand it over." Gosh why couldn't just give that damn thing to me.

He did what I expect him to. He ran.

I just got logged on to this game. And it comes out my task is to return the stupid item from the Lvi. Now I'm here chasing this guy who stole that item.

And this guy is extremely fast than I thought. I wasn't a fond of running and this guy really good at pissing me off.

We've been running for hours to God knows where we've been running through..

I hate running.

"Ughh that's enough running." I shouted at him. I picked a rock and throw at him but missed.

The black hooded guy chuckled himself from my failed attempt but he ran fast, dodging through the tree branches which meant I had to dodge them too, away from me. I growled in frustration. Ughh can't a girl take a break?..

My legs begin to hurt, wishing I could finish this quest really bad. So that I could take the reward, saving them to buy I've been dream about in years.

Sighs. Why would they make a quest for that stupid item anyway. Why wouldn't they just give it to them. What's so important for getting the item that they just couldn't keep it or guide it so well.

I was lost in my thoughts, and never thought that I trip over one of the tree roots that blocked my way. It seems like the world hates me now.

I gasped with a sharp of pain shot through my leg yet somehow I love the feeling of it.

I could watch as the thief slowly disappeared from my sight, making me cursed myself for my stupidness. Smart guy.

Good job Eve. I said sarcastically to myself.

I glanced up at the sky above me as I could see the branches blocking its way from its view.

A thought came through my mind which was ridiculous but it's the only option for now.

Ugh. Fine, let's do this in the hard way. Stupid culprit.

◾Unknown's POV◾

I was breathing heavily from running while my heart pounded as I can feel beads of sweat dripped off my forehead like raindrops, using my arm to wipe them off.

I could see the white cat-girl disappeared my sight, meaning I'm half-away miles from her. She almost use her nails to scratch me like a wild cat even I often seen like this one.

Thanks goodness, I still have the pouch with me, clutching it on my palm. Phew, that was so close!

Suddenly, something heavy fall on me, seeming like it came from the sky makes me drop my item accidentally.

To make things worse, I fell down with it and stumbled to the ground with a mud, letting my red hood slipped and fall off my face.

I groaned.

I saw the first thing caught my attention and looked up to see the same familiar face I've encountered earlier. Standing in front of me with the item on her palm which was glowing brightly, makes me flabbergasted.

I've never knew she could light that thing. But it was a coincidence right?

"Hey, give it back!" I tried reaching my hand to grab it but she stood back fast enough makes me failed to snatch it.

The white feminine cat held out a small gasp and widening her eyes, can't help but gaze the hood that fell off over my shoulders, revealing my strawberry blonde hair.

"What the heck! You're are a girl?" she said seemingly on herself in disbelief.

"What do you think I am then?" I smirked.

She huffed and said.

"You're definitely wearing a guy's clothes! I mistaken you as a guy but damn you're really a good runner."

I coughed.

"Um duh, I'm a thief. My job is to disguise myself hidden and steal since it's my request anyway. Oh please, give it back!" I whined.

"Oh wow, I've never seen a thief could begged me like this before." she chuckled.

"Heyyy! At least I snatched it from the RUX but you came along to return it acting like a hero. Hmph!"

"It's my request so what I need the money. Oh wait! You're a gamer too?" I can hear her voice in surprise.

"Yes, indeed I am." revealing her my mark on my upper shoulder which is a red looking rose pattern tattooed on my skin.

"Beautiful." she whispered.

I didn't noticed that she appeared herself infront of me closer than before as she caress her fingertips on my skin, touching the mark admiredly.

"Don't you have-" I was cut off when an enormous fiery explosion went off just infront of us, making us flew away from the ground as I hit on the tree, yelping with the pain.

When we looked up to see a huge red creature, gazing us with the sight of its mouth opening wideningly and its long sharp teeth hissing at us as if its our fault for intruding of its territory.

We both looked eachother and screamed.
