Prolouge: Side Star

Meanwhile Location XXX - Manor -

A certain man with long black hair and azure-colored eyes sat in his manor. His gaze fell on the TV screen as his servants prepared the food. All over the news were rumors regarding Moonlight Entertainment's New Talent Reveal, a picture of the woman whom he was searching for emerged. So, she finally decided to show herself. His lips curved to a smile, "Your reports?"

"Yes, sir. We did as you instructed and attacked the members of RAY. This seemed to spur her on, since future members of that establishment were attacked."

He burst into a fit of laughter, startling his servants, "M--milord?"

"It is nothing," he said as he raised his cup. The elderly servant stepped forward and poured him a drink - the color of blood filled his glass. "Keep a close eye on Kiku Ari, but do not attack unless I say so. Also, ah yes... continue to spread the false information around."

"If we do that, then they will attack her. Lord Zane."

Let him introduce himself; his name was Zane. Yes, he was a pure breed Hanyou, half-human and half-demon. But unlike the hanyous out there, the demon blood in him ran the strongest. Usually, one would associate half-human and half-demon offsprings as weak. Indeed, in previous times, that was how things were, but it was different now. Since there were no individuals who were pure demons in the modern society, the half-breeds were near the top of the hierarchy. However, those with the title "purebred hanyous," reigned supreme. Nevertheless, people considered his family as dangerous.

For the longest time, Zane loathed those who shunned him. Even when he learned the reason why he could not get rid of the hate he harbored, the voice of madness in his head drove him crazy every night. It told him to kill and destroy everything.

The woman named Terashima Lila, disguised as Kiku Ari, was his ticket to freedom. If he were to marry her, a woman with the same hanyou condition as him, then all of this will end. But there was a problem; the woman has already made a connection with someone else. He stood up and walked over to the picture on the wall, a man with silver hair and silver eyes.

"Give me a report. What is Austin Kiryu up to?"

- Universal S Town -

In Universal Star Town, a man with silver hair was exiting the music shop. Though he put his idol activities on hold for a while, he wanted to surround himself with music. He bought some CDs while wearing a disguise, of course. Despite the lousy cover up, a single cap, and a pair of large glasses, nobody recognized him. His name was Austin Kiryu, the number one male idol. Because of certain circumstances, he has to put his idol activities on hold. The reason? There could only be one. Kiryu pulled out his phone and stared at his wallpaper - a picture of his lovely girlfriend, Terashima Lila. Due to the challenge and trial placed on the girl's family, he had no choice but to let her go on her journey alone and leave him behind.

Even though he let her go, Kiryu still found the journey ridiculous. What trial? What strengthening a person's resolve? Lila was only sixteen years old. For the majority of the girl's life, she spent it practically locked away in the underground area of her house due to the lack of control she had over her powers. He thought that the trial was stupid. But there was no doubt that Lila had to go, her condition was deteriorating. Unless she set off on her journey, she would be bedridden. It pained him to let her go and he didn't want to separate from her.

That was one of the main reasons. His gaze landed on a large TV screen attached to a large building across the road. A man with maroon colored hair was in the middle of an interview; it was a prerecorded one and not set in real-time. The location was in the same town Lila went to. A deep sigh escaped his lips as he murmured to himself, "I let her go without giving much of an explanation about our relationship."

That's right. He didn't explain the status of his relationship with the girl before he allowed her to leave. Kiryu didn't know what to tell her. Saying "let's break up" when he didn't mean it just didn't feel right. So instead, he left her with those vague sounding words. If Lila decided to break up, he wouldn't blame her. His gaze hardened on the maroon colored hair man on the screen.

"For a while, I'll leave her up to you."

But only temporarily... he would never let go of Lila's hand so easily. He will surely return to her side.
