1 CHAPTER 1

"Nevaeh dear we will be back soon make sure you're good and we'll get you your favorite mint Ice cream" said mom who stood by the door and then she hugged me leaving me with my babysitter Miss Cindy

"Baby be good till we get back, we're going for our anniversary dinner so we won't be back till around midnight. Make sure you brush your teeth before going to bed" then we did the father - daughter handshake for the last time. They both bid me good bye as they left hand in hand as if knowing it was the last time we would see each other.

We both heard a knock on the door around 10:43pm I was surprised because I was told they would come back by midnight. When I opened the door we saw a police man at the door and he told us a shocking news which I would never forget. On their way back my parents were hit by a drunk truck driver that was coming in an opposite direction but switched to the wrong lane and my parents were unfortunate to be on the road. We asked my parents driver to take us to the hospital and when we got there we saw my uncle and his family which I hated the most.

I've always known my uncle to be a wicked man who could do anything for money. He was my fathers elder brother who apparently could not progress in his life and my dad had to hire him in his company, Collins Corp.

I was only twelve and alone in this world, even if my uncle is alive he is still not an uncle to me but a stranger, such an unfortunate bastard.
