7 Invitation

After the fight was over, Void didn't even glance at Belgum and started to check the new skill he got.

Burst Lv 0 : (Buff skill) when used, the user will have his/her level increased by three folds for ten minutes (can be activated three times a day). (Be a superhuman for 10 minutes)

"OH MY F*CKING GOD! this is true right? I'm not dreaming inside a dream right? Or am I kicked unconscious? How did I get the ultra grade rare skill with no effort!? I searched for this skill's skill book for half a year and no luck, but I randomly get this on a street fight!? Oh oh oh, if the top guys in Artik heard this they will definitely spat blood and drop dead on spot!" He thought with excitement and came back to reality and looked around, all the on lookers had a weird face that said 'that thing there ain't human'. When he turned and saw Belgum who was still on the floor with fear and doubt written all over his face he said in a low voice, "hu, no wounded u got your ass kicked so easily, you are just a mere level 7 when I was level 12 and a former level 85, if I lost to you then I'm no different than a Tom(1) getting his ass whooped by Jerry(2) all the time" he then went near Aisha who had a face of 'is he really who I saw before?'. When Void came near her and gave a hand to help her get up, she felt a warmness in her chest, she didn't know what kind of feeling this is, but nonetheless, it felt nice.

After she got up and regain her composure, she looked around and saw that all the on lookers were whispering and looking at them. She wanted to say something but Void cut her off, "shall we go and pick me a quest? I'm in need of it if you don't mind" he smiled awkwardly scratching his head, he couldn't say that he could not read what was written on the board. When she heard this she could not help but shrug a bit and start laughing, "oii what happened that your laughing like that? Did you loose a screw?" He was really flustered and embarrassed at the fact he can't read yet, suddenly a flashback came to him in which his father said, "Literature is very important to humans as it can unlock answers and make us ask question, so study hard that one day you will not face any difficulty in the future" and it ended, 'so this is what you meant by difficulty, father?' He then started to remember his time with his family and got a bit sad of what happened to his mother and his father being remarried and taking care of his sister and leaving him alone.

When she noticed that something was wrong as his face began to sadden she stopped laughing and said, "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean it, its just that...." before she could finish, Void cut her off, "ah, no need to worry, I just remembered the time I spent with my family that's all, nothing else". "Really? Not because of I laughed?" She asked with a low voice. "Really, I just remembered those times that's all, you don't need to worry about it, come on let's go and pick one" he then turned around and walked towards the guild with Aisha following him.

Belgum, who was on the ground, was really flustered by this terrible defeat by a low level and a weak rat at that, "you..... You bastard! You will pay for what you just did! I'll get you someday" said in a low voice that only he can hear, then he got up struggling and used his sword for support and went in the opposite direction.

Inside the guild, Void and Aisha were looking at the quest board and Aisha was trying to chose an appropriate and easy quest, whereas Void was asking about all the quest that were marked at rare, difficult and unique tags. Aisha was really pissed at his boldness, 'he could a strong guy, but that doesn't mean he can just go pick a quest above normal difficulty, tops!'. Right then he took a quest from the board and asked her, "hey, what's this quest?" Then he showed her the parchment. When she saw the contents she let out a sigh, 'he really doesn't know how to read, huh'. She then told him about the quest, "you might as well put it back, its a rare grade quest, I'm sure a lot tried it and had no luck as it says "find 5 firefly flower", I don't know about others, but I never saw one in my life or heard anything about it" when she finished talking, there was a smirk on his face, 'oh...so my first quest is this one huh, guess I got no choice than to go meet her'. He then turned around and headed for the counter. At first, Aisha thought that he was going to put it back, but when he left the board area she was confused and later disbelief on her face when he headed straight for the counter, "wha- wait! Void! Stop!" She called out to him and he stop on his feet and looked back, "what's wrong? I'm going to register this quest" he then turned and walked to the counter. Before he could get to the counter, Aisha go to him and grabbed his hand, "are you an idiot? Didn't you hear what I said? Its not easy to get those flowers!" After she said that, Void showed the parchment again and asked, "what's the reward?". When she heard this, she looked at the paper and her eyes almost popped out and her mouth wide open. Seeing this, Void asked her, "is something wrong?", realizing that she lost her demenor for a moment there, she regained and spoke, "no its just that.... The reward is too good to be true, there must be some kind of danger behind it, with our level we can't finish it". Hearing this, he asked again, "what's the reward?", she heard him asking she thought that there is no use in asking him not to d the quest and said solemnly, "100 gold coins for 1 flower". When he heard this, he almost jumped in excitement, 'oh yeah baby! Easy money, easy money!" He then said nothing and went straight to the counter, "I want to apply for this quest!" He said to the receptionist excitedly. When she looked at the quest she wanted to say please give up on this, but she just did her job, "of course I'll just record it, just a second" she then took out a giant book and brought her hand near on top of it and closed her eyes. Void was fascinated by such sight that a magic circle appeared on her palm and the book turned pages it felt like the wind blew it, after a second it stopped at a page and weird letters started to take shape. Within 3 seconds there was 4 lines of weird letters and she said, "its done! You got till next Saturday to complete it, if you complete it before Saturday then you can have the rest of the days till Saturday free of doing quest, its your wish, but if you don't complete it by Saturday, then your reputation and rank might go down, same goes for quitting the quest, thank you" she said with a smile.

After completing registering it, he went to Aisha, who was still sulking over the fact that he picked up a rare quest which is near impossible to complete and she gotta accompany him in it. When she saw him coming to her she said with a given up voice, "now we can't do anything our rep and rank will definitely go down *sigh* what are we gonna do?". When he heard this he couldn't help but smile, after all that flower is really impossible to get, for the ones in this world. "Don't worry, our rep and rank will only go up, not down" he said that smiling, when she heard him say she wanted to deny it, but seeing that he said that smiling she know that he must have some sort of plan, so she smiled back and both of them headed for the entrance to leave.

Before they could leave, a hand reached out for him and a voice said, "oh there, hello". When he turned, he saw an elf with a 300 Watts smile he immediately went on guard. Feeling the tense coming from him, the elf retracted his hand and thought what he did was inappropriate so he immediately apologized, "I'm really sorry to scare you like that, I just wanted to have a small talk with you. My name is Reinard, as you can see I'm an elf and my class is elven sunrise archer. If you don't mind can we talk in private?" He said as he glanced at Aisha who was standing aside with a flushed face. Seeing that he wants to talk with Void she hurriedly said, "ah...I just remembered that I got some mana crystals, so I'll be going to sell them on the counter, you guys can talk I'll be back in a bit" she smiled and was about leave when suddenly her hand was grabbed by someone. When she turned, she saw it was Void who grabbed her, he had a solemn face. " I don't think we met somewhere before and I don't find a reason why I should talk to you in private, I'm in a hurry so I would appreciate if you can end it quickly here" said Void.

When Reinard heard him say this, he knew that he made a mistake, so he smiled feeling awkwardly, so he apologized and went straight to topic, "I'm sorry for my rudeness, I'm here to invite you to my party" he said that with a smile.
