‘I am having such a great time hanging out with Logan. God could this guy get anymore prefect? He reminds me so much of someone I once knew but I can’t quite figure who that person was. But who cares? I’m having so much fun I don’t want this night to end.’

“So, tell me about yourself.” Charm asks while walking and glancing around the room.

“I don’t know what to tell you.” Logan nervously replies. He has recently discovered that he always seems to get nervous whenever Charm is around.

Charm pauses for a moment and takes a good look at him. She tilts her head to the side and asks, “Why are you so familiar?”

“I don’t know, I mean I as the once that bumped into yesterday if that’s what you mean.” He shrugs. She shakes her head but doesn’t continue further with the topic.

“So, what brings you to Boston?” Logan asks to try and start a better conversation.

“Umm well long story short, I was born and raised here but my grandparents both got sick and needed attention, so my parents and I moved in with them for a while. They both unfortunately passed, and my parents decided to move back to Boston.” Charm replies while picking at her nails.

It was sad, for Logan, to hear what she had to go through, but it gave him a sudden determination to always try and keep her happy. A goal that he hopes to succeed.

He then offers his shoulder for her to rest her head on, seeing as she looks a bit uncomfortable against the arm of the couch. She is of course hesitant at first but obliges. She sighs in delight and buries her face against his neck. That causes him to shiver in delight.

“I’m having the time of my life right now, all because of you.” She confessed while looking up at him with a breathtaking smile in his opinion. He smiles in return and gives her a soft kiss on her forehead before resting his chin on her head.

“This is going to sound a bit weird and maybe a bit creepy but is it true that you’ve never had a serious girlfriend?” She asks feeling a bit embarrassed but very curious.

He chuckles in amusement then answers, “Yes, but that’s because I haven’t found the right girl to be with just yet.”

“Hmm interesting.” She chuckles. They both sit there in silence. Soon after Logan hears a difference in Charm’s breathing, he smiles when he sees that she fell asleep.

‘Well it wouldn’t hurt to get a bit of shut eye.’

Next Day

Emmett can’t seem to figure out what was better, spending his night with the girl of his dreams or waking up to her beautiful head resting on his chest with an arm wrapped around her waist and their legs tangled together. For him it was by far the one of the best ways to wake up.

“Mmm.” Celeste moans, burying her face against his chest while trying to avoid the rays of sunlight that were coming from the near window.

“Morning” Emmett chuckles. She tenses up at first but after realizes who spoke and what happened last night while lifting her head from his chest then relaxes back to her original position.

“Hmm morning Em.” She lifts her head to look at him again with a sweet smile. He traces the tip of his finger across her facial features then plays with loose strands of her hair. She sighs in delight still smiling.

“How did you sleep babe?” Emmett asks while still caressing her face.

“Absolutely amazing and you?”

“Same. You took the words right out of my mouth.” He chuckles in amusement.

‘God she is so beautiful.’

“Want to go downstairs and have some breakfast?” He suggests. She nods in agreement then gets up.

“Umm can I borrow some clothes and a toothbrush?” She shyly asks. He immediately gets up to go towards his dresser and pulls out a t-shirt and a pair of boxers. After handing her both items, he explains to her where she can find the extra toothbrushes in the bathroom cabinet.

She thanks him before making her way into his private bathroom to freshen up. He smiles as he changes into some sweat-pants then makes his way down the stairs to the kitchen, ready to start cooking breakfast.

On the menu for this lovely morning is none other than scrambled-eggs, bacon, and hash-browns. Emmett then realizes that he mostly likely will have to make a bit more than for two people, for Logan and hopefully Charm.

“Umm hey thanks for the clothes. The boxers were a little too big so, I just stuck with the shirt. Oh, wow it smells great in here.” Celeste comments as she is make entrance into the kitchen but suddenly stops where she is. The reason behind why she stopped moving and talking was because she is too busy admiring Emmett’s delicious and muscular torso, though she couldn’t help but admire his “just got out of bed” look in general.

He smirks, glad that she is enjoying the view because he surely is. Never would he have thought that she can be even more beautiful wearing one of his football t-shirts, long enough to lay mid-thigh, with her hair tied up in a messy bun. In his opinion, she is a goddess in her true form, a very radiant one.

“Umm… I… Umm…” She stutters while appearing to be flustered. He thought that she couldn’t be any more adorable, he was proven wrong.

“Hey Em. What are you making?” Logan asks appearing from behind Celeste, causing her to jump in fright.

“Scrambled-eggs, bacon, and hash-browns. I’m making enough for four servings.” Emmett replies. Logan nods in acknowledgement, his cheeks turn a bit pink as he nervously rubs the back of his neck.

“What do you mean by four servings?” Celeste asks confused. Before any of the boys can answer her question, Charm appears in the kitchen, wearing what everyone can assume is one of Logan’s soccer t-shirts.

“Oh, umm hey.” She awkwardly waves while blushing. Celeste squeals in joy then grabs onto Charm to drag her into the living room to most likely gossip about what happened last night.

“Get some bro.” Emmett pats Logan on the back, proud that his friend got to spend his night and partial morning with a gorgeous girl like he did.

“No, its not like that. Last night all we did was talk and laugh a bit, then she got comfortable resting her head on my shoulder and fell asleep.” Logan explains, because he doesn’t want to give his best friend the wrong idea. They have to much on their plate to start something they might not be able to finish.

“Did you get to tell her you know… about the prophecy?”

“Em I couldn’t do it. I feel like its way too soon. We just discovered who she is in part and we still aren’t a 100 percent sure if it really is her. And as much as I wanted to let everything out and tell her the truth, I couldn’t find the will to. She told me the reason why she moved back here and I just… didn’t want to make things worse or put too much pressure on her so early.” Logan replies in frustration.

Emmett pats his friend on the back for reassurance, “Don’t worry, I have your back and we will figure thing out. What the guys didn’t know is that the girls were listening in on their conversation. And what they heard have them feeling confusion, doubt, and for Charm a bit of anger.

“Charm did you hear what they just said? What happened last night? What are they talking about?” Celeste is frantic with so many unanswered questions as is Charm.

“I don’t know what they could be talking about. All we did was talk and laugh, but he never told me about any prophecy or hint anything similar.” Charm is feeling so many emotions at the same time that she can’t seem to formulate anything in her head or out loud.

“Maybe it’s not a big deal, maybe we are overreacting a bit. I mean come on Charm we’ve known those two for years I don’t think they would be into dangerous stuff and they are the type to withhold for our own protection as stupid as that sounds. Maybe we should wait for them to explain before we jump to conclusions.” Celeste can see the frustration in her best friend’s eyes and she doesn’t like it one bit.

“Celeste there is something odd about all of this, me bumping into him the other day, him finding me at the party last night and sweeping me off my feet. And now this, him hiding things about me which is very strange. I mean I don’t want to think bad about him because he is probably one of sweetest, gorgeous and funniest guys I know but I don’t like this feeling that I’m getting of not only him but Emmett also hiding things from me. I have too much on my plate to figure this out, but I hope that it doesn’t turn out bad because I don’t want to stop talking to Logan.” Charm is having trouble figuring out what to do next after what she has heard and what is going on through her head.

“Well we’ll figure it out together. Don’t worry too much, I highly doubt it could be something huge that will have you doubt your feelings for him and his towards you because it’s obvious that he’s into you, always has been.” Celeste says reassuringly.

“Let’s worry about the romance later, I mean if there even is any. I highly doubt something is going to happen. I’m not into secrets and more if they are big ones like this one seems to feel like.” Charm replies.

The girls sit in the living room in silence until Logan and Emmett decide to gift them with their presences, breakfast in hand. Celest thanks Emmett as he hands her a plate and sets a glass of orange juice for her the coffee table in front of them. While Charm quietly thanks Logan for handing her a plate of food as well but she tries to avoid eye contact.

Logan notices something different about her behavior but ignores it at first and continues to settle down on a recliner to eat his food. There’s a large cloud of awkward tension drifting around the room, thick enough that you could cut it with a knife.

“So, umm… Charm did you have time last night?” Emmett asks to relieve some of the tension from the room. She swallows the bite of food that she has currently in her mouth before replying with a “yes” then quietly continues to eat.

Logan couldn’t seem to figure out what caused the change of mood in Charm. It reached a certain moment where he couldn’t take it anymore, causing him to slam his fork loudly on his plate then setting his plate on the coffee table. He set it a bit too hard surprisingly it didn’t break.

“Charm can I have a word with you in private?” Before Charm cold say anything, Logan grabs one of her hands and drags her upstairs.

“Umm Em do you know what’s going on around here?” Celeste asks while playing around with her food, slowly the atmosphere is making her lose her appetite.

“It’s a really long story babe.” Emmett sighs as he places both of their plates on the coffee table. Celeste replies that she has plenty of time to hear this “long story” that Emmett mentioned.

He sighs in frustration then fulling faces towards Celeste, “Well…I guess I’ll start from the beginning but before I do I have to say one thing. Logan and I are…”

~~~~~~~~
As Celeste and Emmett are chatting in the living room, Logan and Charm are upstairs in Logan’s private room, currently sitting in silence.
“What’s wrong Charm? After you went off with Celeste you have been acting different.” Logan asks in frustration, wondering what could’ve happened during the short period of time they were separated.
“Well I think you know very well what’s wrong Logan.” Charm fires back.
“Humor me then.” Logan is still confused.
“How about the fact that you and Emmett are hiding something. And from what I heard and could understand it has to do with me or am I wrong?” She fires back but this time with more attitude. Logan sighs, he knew this moment was going to happen, but never had he thought it would be so soon.
“Well you might want to sit down for this.” Is the first thing he says, preparing himself to explain everything to her, she complies and sits on the edge of his bed.
“There’s really no easy way to say this without sounding crazy and cliché like every super hero or action movie but umm… you’re destined to save humanity from utter chaos.” Logan blurts out. Charm sits there for a moment in silence then bursts out laughing.
“Destined to save humanity from utter chaos?! Oh my god, that’s a good one.” Charm continues to laugh.
“Charm I’m being serious. Emmett and I are people that are known as “Dream Warriors” they are many different kinds, but we are like guardians. Our job is to find the girl of the prophecy that is to save mankind from utter darkness. That girl is known to have special abilities and a certain dream catcher tattoo that happens to be the exact one you have on your back.” Logan tries to explain. Charm soon realizes that Logan is actually being serious.
“Wait… your serious right now? That cannot be possible. You are insane. Why would I be this chosen one? What’s so special about me? The tattoo doesn’t mean anything besides a memory of my grandfather that I randomly had a dream of and that’s all.” Charm refuses to believe anything that Logan is saying.
Logan grips onto her shoulders and repeats for her to “relax”. As soon as she does that, he slowly starts to explain the prophecy…
“Many years ago, high above the mountains there lived an old Lakota spiritual leader who had a vision. And in that vision, Iktomi, the great trickster and searcher of wisdom, appeared before him in the form of a spider. They communicated through a sacred language. As Iktomi spoke, his spider form picked up the elder’s willow hoop which had feathers, beads, horse hair, and offerings on it, and began to spin a web. He mentioned to the elder about the cycles of life, how life began and the continuous phases. As he continued to spin his web, he said that in each time of life there are many forces, some good and some bad. If you listen to the good forces, they will steer you into the right direction. But if you listen to the bad forces, they will steer you into the wrong direction that is usually a result of chaos. So, these forces can help or interfere with the harmony of nature. Once Iktomi finished speaking he gave the elder the web and said, “The web is a perfect circle with a hole in the center. Use the web to help your people reach their goals, making good use of ideas, dreams, and visions. If you believe in the great spirit, the web will filter your good ideas and the bad ones will be trapped and will not pass. The elder passed on his vision onto the people and from then on people, mostly Indians and Native Americans have hung a Dream Catcher above their beds. The good will pass through the center hole to the sleeping person while the evil of their dreams are captured in the web, where they perish in the light of the morning sun. It is said that the first ever Dream Catcher, the one from the elder’s vision, holds the destiny of the future.”
There is a moment of silence between them. Soon enough Logan gets tired of the silence, seeing as he feels that Charm is probably having a silent panic attack.
“I don’t know exactly why it’s you, but we will find out why, together. And I have to say that the tattoo that you have on your back is supposed to be what the very first Dream Catcher ever created.” Logan states after explaining the “prophecy”.
“So, what does the little story of yours suppose to mean? That I’m destined to save humanity and change the future just because I coincidently tattooed a random Dream Catcher that I dreamed about a few times” Charm replies dumbfounded. Logan just nods. She shakes her head in disbelief.
‘This can’t be happening, this is not possible. Why do the cute ones have to be most crazy?!’ Charm contemplates to herself.
“Ok it’s obvious you still don’t believe me. And I’ll take however long to convince you otherwise, but don’t dodge this so quickly. There’s a reason behind why you became obsessed with Dream Catchers and why you specifically dreamed of the one on you back to later on tattoo on your back.” Logan convincingly informs. This is definitely not how Charm expected her morning to start.
