8 Maybe in the Future
A mother can be compared to a mother-hen, when she hatches her little chicks, she becomes stronger, brave, and very protective of her chicks, one is not allowed close to them, she would shield her chicks from rain, find food for them, her sole purpose is to protect them, to watch over them, but why is it different with her? Isn't that she's just unlucky? Or her destiny is not to experience motherly love?
Luna thought about this these things, and the string of things to think about never stopped coming up, sad and painful memories clouded her thoughts, from when she lost her dad, to her mum leaving them, all her strife, she remembered them like it happened yesterday.
Her Aunt Reymuna was good to her sometimes, but she always wanted her kids to come first, she, Luna was never her priority at all. Her husband always referred to Luna as a good-for-nothing since she was always getting into fights and causes trouble, Kim Mihan was just tolerating her because of his wife. Amanda is the first and only daughter, and Andrew, the second. Andrew is good natured, he is the only one that Luna respects and listens to, unlike his sisterđ.
She was called 'Yankee' in school because she was a half breed(half Spanish, half Korean). And so she became a bully so as to fight for herself, she got into a lot trouble and fights with guys and girls frequently and most at times, they just wanted to make life miserable for her..... It was really hell and then, Amanda would cause some of these troubles for Luna... things progressed like this till she graduated and left for University C. The bullying died down a bit but she still bore a lot of grievances and resentments which she still holds on to till date. She majored in Chemistry and has a second degree in Business Management which her Aunt forced her to get. She never really desire anything, she just wanted to be alive, everything was decided by her aunt and her husband, even her job.
She went through all these alone, no moral support from anyone, she practically lived for herself, her mom never showed up not even once. After she started working at Mina exactly a year after she just showed up one day and wanted to cover up 21years apart in just a day, Not Happening!!
Luna moved from the bed,wiped off her tears which was replaced with a very scary expression, 'Iwon't forgive her, No, I can't! She left me, she left my dad, she doesn't deserve anything from me,am not letting things slide'! With a pained expression, she got up got into the bathroom and washed her face, looking at herself in the mirror, her puffed eyes and running nose, she swore never to forgive Susan, She was opened to the possibility that things may change in the future, but let it be in the future.
Luna got up and decided to go for a drink, she hated herself when she becomes emotional like this. She got up putting on a pair of jeans and a white shirt she took her coat and left for the elevator which took her to the ground floor. She was going to let it all out, she can't break down like this, Impossible!

Susan was sitting on the bench outside trying to cool off from the argument she had with Luna, the girl was really hurt, she signed to herself, she shouldn't have left in the first place. Was it too late? to make amends? To be a better mother to Luna? But when she remembered her tears, all that resentment she held, she made her heart hurt, 'What should I do now? Just then she saw Luna walking out of the building, She looked her her daughter longingly, her gaze was loving, her little Mia was beautiful with curly hair like Seth's... Thinking about Seth, she signed, she let him down. On a second thought, she decided to follow Luna.
