9 Forgetting Nora_1

At 11pm the phone rang with a high pitched volume and a pair of long, beautiful and well trimmed fingers reached to grab the phone and answered it.

"Liam, dude where the hell are you? You got to B City and you never bothered to call up your buddesc sleeping early again? There was no response, but then a deep sleepy voice responded,

" Brandon Lee, get the f**k out of my phone! I don't want to repeat myself " Oh No, he was mad.

" Dude, you need to calm down, Brandon was trying not to annoy him, this bro of his is quick to anger like the almighty and doesn't show mercy at all, even the almighty was generous in mercy, but not Liam, " Slow down, am at Golden Palace, it's really going down for real you know, hurry up and come over for a drink, I promise you wh..... the beeping sound to show the call was disconnected in the middle of the he conversation. 'how rude! Brandon mumbled.

Liam ended the call and got very annoyed afterwards, 'that guy talks too much', calling me at this hour, how annoying.

Liam never got use to going out at night because of his Mum, she was possessive and very strict, never wanting him out of her sight. He got a place for himself after a lot of persuasion and Channi made sure to inspect the place before letting him move in. Even after that, she always calls him home for a meal and cajole him into spending the night.

He got that place mainly because of Nora, so he could spend time with her,he couldn't bring her to the house because of this mum... Nora.. he signed and shook his head at the thought of her...he needed to forget her.

Golden Palace Bar was one of the biggest club in B City, their services were top notch and most people who frequented there were the upper class(VVIP), some spent more than a million in just one night and even more. Liam called Brandon as soon as he walked in and was directed to the VIP room upstairs.

"Bro!!! You made it here after all, am so glad to see you! Brandon stood to give Liam a shoulder hug while directing him on where to sit, he then called for drinks.

" Welcome to B City, Bro am glad you got away from Aunt Channi for awhile... " Brandon wink at him and got a scroll from Liam. Brandon and Liam were cousins from his mother's side, he was the son of his aunt Vera who was his mother's younger sister. She raised Brandon single-handedly because she got pregnant out of wedlock, but she loved her son and spoilt him unconditionally. Brandon is a fashion designer and was quite reputable, he is not the drop dead handsome but he has gentle features and is always cheerful and attracted people because of his cheerfulness.

Brandon ordered more drinks and sent for escorts which soon arrived, Liam drank all five cups of a drink called the Devil's Tail and he soon started feeling tipsy. "Dude you need to calm down, the Devil's Tail is very strong, you won't think straight for the next one week, so slowly... 'Aunt Channi is gonna kill me for sure! He mumbled fearfully but Liam paid no hid and drank two more cups. He then got up and went down stairs to dance, all the pain he has been feeling, he was going to let it all out, he hated how he was feeling about Nora, she didn't deserve his feelings but it was heartbreaking, they were together for almost 7years, she just threw all that away in a day! He was mad at her, his heart couldn't take this pain.

He was struggling to stand straight to no avail, he held onto one of the bar stool to steady himself and slowly brought his body to sit down on one of the stool and heaved a sign and ordered another drink which he drank in one go.... it was going to be a long night.
