1 Chapter One

Everything started over four hundred years ago, when the first dragon appeared. They were not just dragons, but they were human as well. Once mortals found out about the dragons, they started attacking the dragons. Then a great war happened between man-kind and the dragons. The war ended two hundred years later when the first war dragon appeared. Finally, a truce was made between man-kind and dragons. Each year a group of teenagers are picked to become dragons. They are trained and taught how to use their powers, but there has not been a war dragon in over two hundred years.

The next group of dragons are Dallas Taylor, Austin King, Adam Hall, Seth Black, Jessica Brown, Elizabeth Johnson, Brittany Rose, and Alice Bell. They all attend the same school. Dallas and Jessica are dating. Austin and Alice are a couple. The next couple is Seth and Elizabeth. The next two that are dating is Adam and Brittany. Four of them is rich and four is poor. No one is picked to become a dragon until they reach seventeen.

Dallas Taylor has black hair and green eyes. His hair is long and often falls in his face. He is also five foot ten. He tries to work two jobs and goes to school. Dallas hangs out with Jessica, Seth, and Elizabeth. He does not have much time for fun. He usually ends up falling asleep in class, but manages to keep straight A's. Dallas tries his best to help with the bills and has no money to spend on himself. If he has any spare time, he spends it with Jessica.

Austin King has blonde hair and golden-brown eyes. He hangs out with Alice, Adam and Brittany. He likes to have all the fun he can. What he calls fun is going to the places Dallas works at and messing the place up. He likes to spend time with Alice. Austin can buy whatever he wants and wears the best clothes you can find.

Adam Hall has brown hair and blue eyes. He hangs out with Austin, Brittany, and Alice. Adam likes to spend hours walking with Brittany on the beach. Adam like to read and write. He also has fun and goofs off with Austin. Adam helps Austin mess up the places Dallas works at. He likes to help Austin pick on Dallas as well.

Seth Black has brown hair and brown eyes. His friends are Dallas, Jessica, and Elizabeth. Seth works one job and that is with Dallas. In his spare time, he relaxes and spends time with Elizabeth. He loves to read, but hates school.

Jessica Brown has brown hair and bright green eyes. She spends a lot of her time in the store with Dallas. She likes to be called Jess. Jessica hangs out with Dallas, Elizabeth, and Seth. She loves school and studies hard to keep straight A's. If she is not studying or spending time with time with Dallas, she is outside drawing. She mainly draws pictures of nature.

Elizabeth Johnson has white hair and blue eyes. She stays at Jessica's house a lot. She hangs out with Dallas, Seth, and Jessica. Elizabeth prefers to be called Liz. She loves to go to the movies with Seth. Elizabeth studies, reads, writes, and is always looking things up on the internet.

Brittany Rose has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She loves to get her nails and hair done. She will only wear real jewelry and dresses. She is called Britt, but only by her friends. Brittany hangs out with Austin, Adam, and Alice. She hates school and never studies. Sometimes she goes with Austin and Adam to the store and helps make Dallas's job hard.

Alice Bell had bright red hair and dark blue eyes. She loves getting her hair and nails done with Brittany. Alice has to have the best of the best. She loves shopping and hates school. Alice hangs out with Austin, Adam, and Brittany. Alice sometimes goes with Austin and Adam to helps make a mess in the store as well.

They were all destine for something great and was not aware of anything. Everything started at The General Store where Dallas was working. He was putting cans of food on the shelf when Austin, Adam, Alice, and Brittany came in. They started knocking things off shelves and throwing things. "You guys need to get out of here now. I work too hard to put up with your crap and I'm sick of it," Dallas said walking over to Austin.
