14 CHAPTER - XI [ PART - I ]

Some time later we can see the QUINJET hidden in the forest, then we can see how three people come out of some bushes which were Derek, Kamala and Bruce.

A holographic map appeared showing the coordinates given by JARVIS, they walked for a few minutes until they reached an elevated bridge.

Kamala : "Hey guys I think it's blocked."

"No shit" Derek said to Kamala sarcastically.

Derek : "Mmm do you think you can make it to the other side Kamala."

Kamala : "I...I think so"

"Don't be nervous Kamala this will be a way to train your powers" Bruce interjected, making her calm down.

"I'll do it, I won't be long" said Kamala as she used her powers to climb, once Kamala was no longer in sight Derek spoke "From what I see you have taken a liking to Kamala haven't you Bruce"

Bruce : "Actually every time I see her I see myself and I don't know why, but you have taught me to see my powers as a blessing not as I have always seen them as a curse, hehehe you know the avengers will be very upset if they find out that some kids, are getting me to accept the other me"

Derek : "Haha especially Tony Stark, right?"

Bruce : "Yeah, haaa, the last time I saw him was when the team broke up because of me."

Derek : "Everything will be fine, maybe he'll be a little upset when he sees you, but once we explain things he'll calm down a little."

Bruce : "I hope so, but changing the subject, I'm interested in knowing how you managed to program the metal you created specifically to absorb, redirect energy and shape the absorbed energy"

For a moment Derek was surprised by what Bruce said, as he was thinking of a way to tell him about how Derek applied runes, in the end he decided to tell half truth, half lie.

Derek : "Actually my parents left some books, in which they explain a bit about magic."

Bruce : "Wait, wait, you're telling me that magic exists, that's really hard to believe Derek."

Derek : "Oh come on Bruce, you've seen an Asgardian God, even two Greek demigods and you're telling me magic doesn't exist, I know you're a science person but you limit yourself too much, you know , I see magic as a science that simply works with a different set of rules."

Bruce : "That could open a new door to science, you have to let me see those books."

Derek : "Okay, but they only teach the basics."

Bruce : "That will be enough"

A few minutes later Kamala spoke to them over the headphones - 🎧 "Guys I'm lowering the bridge, uh wait a minute something is preventing the bridge from lowering" 🎧 - Kamala told them as they heard the sound of metal breaking and the bridge lowering.

Kamala : "Ta-ran! because of me you're going to enter Sir Stark's majestic castle!"

Once Bruce and Derek entered they saw a very smiling Kamala "You look very happy Kamala."

Kamala : "Yeah who wouldn't be if I was about to meet Tony Stark."

"Mmm not me, but if it was Thor maybe, you know I wonder if he would let me take a bite of the Mjolnir" when they realized what Derek said everyone stopped except him, who still did not realize, Bruce and Kamala just watched as he entered what looked like a garage where there were some cars, which have been doing maintenance recently besides being able to listen to music, rather one of Stark's favorite bands.

Bruce : "Do you think what he said is true Kamala?"

Kamala : "Mmm I don't really know, so far he's been very unpredictable, but if he's going to do it, then I'm sure he has a plan."

Bruce : "Haa and I thought Tony was the only one who could give me headaches, just hope this doesn't get to the big leagues, come on Kamala".

Once they arrived at Derek's they saw him looking at the door where the music was blaring.

"Well guys, welcome to GOLDEN ACRES!" said Derek once he opened the door, but both Kamala and Derek were disappointed to see how the mansion was barely standing and a mobile home next to it from which the music was coming from.

"So the great Tony Stark at the moment lives like this" said Kamala with a bit of disappointment.

Derek : "Well it looks like it wasn't just Bruce that went bad after A-Day, no."

"If that stop..." said Bruce but was interrupted, once the door opened, from which Stark emerged with shoulder length hair and an unkept beard.

"Tony" said Bruce as he one barely noticed him nd just walked over to the grill which had some sausages on it and started flipping them, but as he just decided to notice them he spoke.

Tony : "Hi Bruce."

Bruce : "Is this a long night?"

Tony : "Mmm, no, I'd say five long years."

Bruce : "Uh all right."

"I was" Stark said to put down the sausages to walk up to Bruce and punch him in the face causing him to back up a few steps, he was ready to continue but Kamala stepped in.

Kamala : "Mr. Stark enough we are not here to fight."

Tony : "Hello, and sorry girl but who are you?"

While with Derek, he walked over to Bruce and put his hand on Bruce's shoulder "All right Bruce you're still not green no"

Bruce : "HA, FU, I'm fine for the moment nothing green."

Derek : "That's good."

While with Kamala and Stark.

kamala : "I'm Kamala"

Tony : "Alright Kamala, your little green eyed, green skinned friend is on my hit list" he said as he approached Bruce and Derek, who was already better after the hit.

Bruce : "Alright Tony... I know I deserve it."

Tony : "Yes of course you deserve it, were the avengers a threat to society? That was the simple question Bruce!"

Bruce : "Yes I know but tell me Tony did you checked the data?"

Tony : "Come on Bruce you know that was all a plan."

Bruce : "Yes I know that, but I told you and you knew it the Terrigen reactor was unstable and you knew it...damn it and yet you put it on display to the whole world"

Tony : "But you gave up."

Bruce : "No, I didn't give up, but we did fail, and I can admit it."

"No, we failed him" Tony said regretfully and turning back to the parirla to continue flipping his sausages.

Bruce : "Tony, I don't know how long you will stay mad at me, and I really don't care, you can take all the time you want, but those two are inhuman, and it was our fault and they need our help."

Tony : "Oh it looks like these five years have been for nothing for you Bruce, he said you would have told me that he can't handle this and would have left the boys to me, but that doesn't change anything without proof we can't do anything" but at that Kamala pulls out a flash drive

"What is that?" asked Stark

"That genius, it's a USB stick, which has the evidence we need" said Derek sarcastically to Tony who just raised an eyebrow at his sarcasm.

Tony : "Haa it better be something good" he said as he took the flash drive and gestured for them to follow him to the RV.

Derek walked up to Kamala and said "You know, if we didn't really know them I'd say they were gay and this whole thing was just a couple's brawl for breaking each other's trust don't you think Kamala" she quickly put her hand over her mouth trying not to laugh, and Stark quickly turned to them

Tony : "Kid I'm completely straight haven't you read or seen that I'm a playboy."

Derek : "Well they say that some people who are unsure of their sexuality try to find ways to justify themselves, I've heard that and I've read it."

Bruce : "Derek stop bothering him already and don't involve me in that."

Derek : "O come on you must admit a few minutes ago you guys looked like a very resentful couple, hahaha"

Bruce : "Haaa Tony just let it go don't play along, he's very good at getting into people's heads"

Tony : "I'll let it go for an hour but it won't stay that way you hear kid"

Derek just laughed disregarding what this one said.

After that we can see Tony at his computer looking at the files given by Kamala.

Tony : "Son of a bitch, not only that they have also experimented on inhumans."

Kamala : "Yes I know but the first file I got was thanks to a resistance blog, the rest was when we attacked an AIM base".

Tony : "That's impressive that you could crack my password."

Kamala : "O come on it was just I am Ironman".

"Which shows your big ego trying to cover up a big secret haha" Derek told him in mockery, which was met by a very annoyed face from Tony, but this time even Bruce had to control himself not to laugh, Tony decided not to listen to him this time.

Tony : "The video is not cut girl, they were actually very clever in encrypting it and passing it off as a corrupted file I'll need a few hours to get the full file, Girl what is this? and Who is Tiny Dancer?"

TINY DANCER: "You're in danger, AIM is on its way."

kamala : "Hay no, no, we have to get out of here."

Tony : "What? You know him, girl."

Kamala : "He helped us get out of Jersey, I'm here because I was warned about AIM."

Kamala : "We have to get out of here now"

"Haaa alright" said Tony with frustration as he got up and headed for a secret compartment "Alright I'll go change"

Kamala : "Wait I'll take this so we can communicate and you have a suit of armor Tony"

"Ok thanks, yeah pretty much, you can call it armor" was the last thing Tony said as he walked into what looked like a secret tunnel of the mansion.

"Guys AIM is here" shouted Kamala as she looked out the window.

"Alright we have to destroy all the synthezoids that AIM sent AND we have to be careful, and Bruce I think it's time for you to turn green" said Derek to get out of the RV followed by Kamala and Bruce who started to turn green and get bigger, a few seconds later he had already transformed into the Hulk, which as if to start the fight he let out a roar.

"GRAWWWWWWWW!"

Throwing himself against the synthezoids, followed by Derek who had already covered his body with metallic scales but the difference is that these scales were of a metallic blue color, which look stronger than the previous scales and that is because he used the new metal that he created.

Derek always thought in his previous life that Gajeel from Fairy Tail is a character who was not given much use to his power as a Dragon Slayer of Iron or metal, he did not believe that in a magical world as detailed by the creator of the manga and anime there were no magical metals with abilities or hardness.

Derek's gamble paid off, as he ran he let himself be hit by some of the attacks of the synthezoids armed with their plasma or energy weapons.

For every attack that hit Derek his scales became bluer and stronger, once he realized that the scales could no longer absorb more energy he accelerated towards the first synthezoid and clenched his fist tightly while releasing all the energy accumulated in his attack, [Metal Dragon Fist] hitting the synthezoid with a large hole in it's chest.

Derek was very surprised by the result of the new metal in action, but was interrupted by a shot of energy to his face, to which he reacted quickly putting his arms in x to receive, and as soon as the energy touched his arms began to be absorbed, and without giving any chance to the synthezoid he created a kunai to which he imbued all the energy he absorbed from the attack, and threw the kunai hitting the armed synthezoid in the middle of the robot exploding.

Derek : "Very well it seems that the absorbing metal works perfectly."

Tony : "You guys just need ten minutes and I'll be ready I'll take care of it."

No one said anything, already disagreeing to buy Stark time, Derek decided not to hold back anymore transforming his left arm into a sword making it work like a saw and for the final touch surrounding it with his flames.

But this time he let the flames get noticed, the sword just turned completely magma red with blue highlights, he lunged at a synthezoid with energy shield surrounding it, using his transformed arm directly at the shield cutting through it like butter and piercing the upgraded synthezoid in its reactor, undeterred.

Derek continued with the next ones, making the sword bigger spinning his arm hard cutting ten primitive synthezoids in half like it was nothing.

Once he finished with his side he went to help Kamala, although she was doing well you could see that she was being pressured.

When Kamala realized that Derek was approaching her she quickly polymerized her forearms and hands making them bigger and forcefully pushed them forward against the group of synthezoids pushing them to Derek who kicked the ground with all his strength appearing in an instant in the group of syntezoids.

He then shot a metallic spider web sticking to it and Derek through the new metal spider web released a part of the fire absorbed in them burning and melting the robot giving only melted metal.

Once they finished with the syntezoids Hulk approached them with a smile.

Hulk : "FRIEND... GET STRONGER AND SMASH BETTER"

Derek : "Hey big guy you look better, you're not so pale anymore, I see you did better with Banner."

"BANNER BE ANNOYING.... BUT DON'T TREAT HULK BADLY ANYMORE" but before they can continue they see how from the mansion energy blasts come out of it until through the window an AIM drone shoots out, a few meters away from Kamala and Derek, but they saw that drone has a little big hole made by an energy shot.

At that moment they can see how an AIM ship arrives and from it comes out a robot a meter bigger than the Hulk in the shape of a spider, falling a few meters from them, while the ship is surrounded by purple energy implying that it is Tarleton who is controlling it and begins to shoot at the mansion.

With Tony

It was not so difficult for him to gather every part of the homemade armor that he had made with the little material he had but it was worse than nothing, for every part of the armor that was equipped one of those damn drones attacked him, the good thing was that he had how to defend himself

Once he destroyed all the drones, he put on the only thing he was missing, the helmet, and it is worth saying that it only looked ridiculous, but the only thing he had for the moment, and as if to make fun of him, his mansion began to be attacked by multiple energy shots, luckily for him he was able to cover himself in time.

Once the dust settled Tony approached a large hole that was made by the multiple shots.

"I see you're still a genius at your entrances Stark!" said Tarleton through the ship when he saw Tony through the hole in the mansion.

Tony : "Good to see you Georgie Are you working out...Have you robbed any other million dollar companies lately?"

"Only yours!" shouted Tarleton to start shooting, but this time Tony reacts by flying out of the mansion and hiding.

Tony : "You're going to pay me for that mansion Tarleton you know that don't you?"

"Haha this is your new home, didn't expect something bigger from the great Tony Stark" said Tarleton in mockery, to stop controlling the ship, and control the spider robot and about six syntezoids .

Tony was ready to respond sarcastically, but he had to leave that behind as he had to dodge a super condensed energy beam which completely melted the place he was standing in, he started shooting energy blasts from the sky at the spider.

Derek : "Hulk help Stark with the metallic spider, Kamala and I will take care of the rest syntezoids"

Hulk just nodded in recognition and gave a big jump falling like a meteorite towards the big robot and start hitting like crazy on top of it, while Tony destroyed the weapons of this one, but in that the same weapon that attacked Tony hit Hulk sending him flying against a part of the mansion, Hulk got up quickly more angry to continue the attack.

Meanwhile with Kamala and Derek also have it difficult because when they finished with the last two synthezoids portals opened from which six new synthezoids came out two with spears the rest are of a red color with black much thinner but about two meters high, but Derek's attempts began to scream

He grabbed the arm of Kamala dodging the attack of two synthezoids launched, the spear completely froze the place where they were while the thinner ones crossed the ground about five meters long as if it were butter.

Derek : "Kamala go help Hulk and Stark, I'll take care of this junk."

Kamala : "What, are you crazy? I won't let you take them on alone."

Derek : "Kamala I am the perfect person to take them nd remember ice doesn't hurt me and because of my scales their attacks won't either, go to Stark and Hulk" and even though she was reluctant she did.

Tony : "O it's cute love you kids."

"Hmp say what you want big head" and without further ado Derek lunged at the supreme cryogenic syntezoid grabbing his spear before he could attack holding it down while his right arm sliced the head off like it was nothing, as he was about to attack the next one a synthezoid caught him off guard hugging him tightly to begin to glow and explode

The synthezoids still did not move waiting for the dust to clear to see Derek's corpse but before they could do anything three blue kunais with red in the center flew out and exploded leaving only a cryogenic syntezoid, Derek quickly transformed his right arm into a spear stretching it and piercing the last synthezoid in the head.

"Uff that did scare me it absorbed all that energy but I did feel the explosion although I am a little hurt, this new metal it creates saved me from worse damage" said Derek as he wiped a line of blood from his mouth, but an explosion alerted him, turning quickly he could see that where he was before the spider robot had exploded

He quickly ran in that direction and to his relief saw that Kamala and the rest were ok but he could not rest when he saw how another spider robot came out of a large portal, completely covered in purple energy.

Tony : "Would someone please explain to me how Georgie can control these robots?" asked Tony impatiently.

Kamala : "I don't know the last time I saw him he was controlling a robotic spider," said Kamala.

"Well, he doesn't play with spiders anymore or does he," Tony replied jokingly.

"Yeah, now he likes bigger things like that spider" said Derek making them smile at his joke.

"My power is called Technokinesis you idiots" Tarleton shouted at them in anger making the robot stronger with the purple energy surrounding it.

"Alright kids get ready" said Tony to start throwing bursts of energy from his hands at the robot while Hulk ran straight at it and Kamala started to grow until she totally overpowered Hulk and hit her fists like hammers with fury up and down over and over again, Derek noticed that the energy surrounding the robot, for every energy attack or hit it became thinner and disappeared making the robot take more damage.

Derek : "Guys I have a plan, that purple shield not only enhances the strength of that robot, it also makes it stronger, but if you hit the purple energy surrounding it hard enough it starts to fade away , keep hitting it until I tell you"

"Alright you heard the little flakes guys" although Derek wanted to reply to Tony for the nickname he gave him, he decided not to, and concentrated on creating a spear made of pure absorbent metal hard and tough enough to absorb all the Dragon flames and mana.

So he began to charge it, Not only that, every time the spear reached the limit of what it could absorb, he reinforced it with small layers of absorbent metal making it absorb more than it should be able to, so seven minutes passed, until he completed the spear, which is very similar to the Neuntote spear.

"Ready, get out of there" after shouting Derek jumped three meters to then surround his feet in flames taking more height and once he was on top of the robot, he with all his strength held the spear as it was vibrating barely containing all the energy in it, he raised the spear and squeezed it so hard that his veins began to mark, and then throw it.

DEMON KARMA, SPEAR OF THE METAL GOD!
