4 Ch.3: the Mage

"Exa flama tristar seekin!" The mage that trapped commanded, slinging three fireballs off of her staff behind her. "Singa a lightning!" She followed through with a high density lightning shot that threw her backwards onto the ground. Jason and Skye evaded both magic attacks. Jason then counter with his own lightning attack but stop short. The tip of his blade almost touching the girl's throat.

"Not nice to steal what is not yours. Give my par back her halberd and I'll withdraw my sword." Jason warn the little mage. Skye have her arms cross, waiting on the mage to return her staff.

"I know it is not nice but it was the only way to get someone's attention that wouldn't sling me off or worst.." the little mage apologized. Jason and Skye look at each other and both of them sighed.

"How about this, return Skye's halberd and I can guarantee you a spot. Not bad deal huh?" Jason gave the mage a smile.

"On the Witch's oath, deal or no?" The mage replied, a magic seal bracelet appear on her outreach wrist. Jason look at Skye and she just shrug as she also doesn't know what a Witch Oath is.

"Guess it is a deal the..." Jason's hand was instantly grasp. The same sealed bracelet appearing on Jason's wrist.

"Denied thy oath and you die, protect thy contractor as we share pain. Till death do us apart. This is the Witch's Oath..." The mage then faints.

"You got to be kiddi...me..." Jason also faints, still grasping the mage's hand.

It was almost night when they woken up. Both of them sprang up and tried to attack each other and there was no attack. It was 7:40pm.

"You got to be kidding me. You better know how to undo this contract thing?" Jason snaps.

"A Witch's Oath is absolute I'm afraid. I'm so dumb and my first contract is with this guy *bangs head on tree*" The mage banging her head on a tree.

"Ow ow ow ow, ok ok, you can stop, we can still do this but I really need to know how you fight before we head to the mountain together." Jason head also starting to bleed. The mage then turn back around, a fire aura surrounding the tip of her staff.

"If that's so, then my name is Eliza and I am a dark mage as you may already tell from the Oath. I fight aggressively at mid to long range but I guess imma be you twos backup support as your lightning power feel kinda...demonic technically. Your if she is the real deal, a dragon par, her flames have some sought of ancient feeling in it." The mage said. Skye then press Eliza against a tree.

"Calling me old huh, how about I...oW!" Skye was pop on the head by Jason.

"Skye, no, alright Eliza, we two are close quarters combatants with mid range lightning and fire attacks. I know some sound magic but I'm no pro at sound magic." Jason replied.

"Alright awesome, then this trio gonna work out. Then let's head out of this forest as there is a student council person with good plant magic bout to gain control of these woods." Eliza said, taking Jason's hand and running in the direction of the gold quarry.

*After their little contract, witch thing is done, she going to be done for* Skye feeling a little bit jelly at their grasp hands.
