Snake Way!

The sky had darkened when Shenron was summoned; this strange phenomenon could be seen across the planet. Once Shenron's figure was on display for all to see, he gazed down at the people who summoned it.

Shenron surprisingly gave Kami a deep nod when he saw him before speaking. "I have been summoned, please state your wish." I understood why Shenron was being so polite, this was obviously because of his creator.

"Just a second..." I wanted to wish for being disease-free, but I could wish for that later since I was going to be training at King Kai's place. So, I decided to wish for something that could keep me alive.

"I wish to have the ability to survive anywhere, like space for example." This was the best I could do, for now; this dragon was limited in its ability so early on.

Shenron's eyes lit up, then he said. "Your wish has been granted!"

I patted my body down, but I didn't find anything strange about myself that may have changed. Shenron's body turned into a flash of light, then the Dragonballs shot into the sky and dispersed into different directions.

The sky quickly returned to its original luster and everything was normal again.

"Being able to breathe in space?" Goku wondered as he recounted Turles' wish, but he didn't bother asking about it. What was really on his mind was training with this King Kai fella.

"Well, it looks like that ends that matter." Kami watched the whole process, he wasn't sure what Turles would wish for, but even he found this wish a little strange.

"Alright, me and Kakarot are ready to head off to OtherWorld." I didn't want to waste time, something I felt was of the essence.

"Alright, let's go! Man, I can't wait to train with this King Kai guy!" Goku punched his palm, his tone was filled with excitement and expectation.

"Before we go, shouldn't you go tell Chi-chi you're leaving?" I wondered, she was surely going to be looking for him today and tomorrow. If he didn't show up, it was no telling how she would act.

"Chi-chi? Oh, it's okay, she'll understand." Goku laughed and said.

Yeah, right, I thought. But I didn't say anything about it; he would be the one getting scolded later for his actions.

"Okay, you two, right this way." Kami shook his head and called out them. He had seen Ch-chi's personality before, so he knew that what Goku was saying, was nonsense.

Both Turles and Goku followed Kami into his Palace.

I knew the Hyperbolic time chamber was another way to get strong, but it was best to use that after becoming a Super Saiyan to receive the best results. We eventually reached an unknown place in the Palace where a strange door could be seen, then Kami waved his staff over this door.

That was when a strange Gate opened, it seemed to more of a portal than anything else. I left my clothes and drawings here, there was no need to bring them with me. We all walked through the dimensional gate portal and arrived in Otherworld instantly.

Our arrival was right next to King Yemma's Place. What came into my view were a few people who had died. Some looked like wisps, while some came with fully intact bodies. The ones that looked like wisp died without an intact body.

I was a bit surprised when I saw a few of these dead people, some of them actually worked for Frieza. I could hear them complaining about their deaths, they were killed for simply reporting something! I could only shake my head with a smile, I wondered why these idiots would work in such a deadly environment.

We were granted the privilege of passing these people, we went straight into the palace. However, we were stopped by a blue-skinned ogre. Once he confirmed Kami's identity, we were allowed to meet King Yemma.

Kami was nervous, he really hoped that this Turles fella had a good explanation for meeting Yemma. The line of the dead was halted as we were allowed passage inside the room King Yemma resided in.

Once we were inside, what greeted us was a huge desk with a large figure sitting behind it. He was currently looking at a stack of papers before he sat them down, revealing his face.

"Wow, he's huge!" Goku put his hand on his forehead as if he was trying to look into the distance.

"Shh~!" Kami bumped Goku's arm, hinting him to not say anything crazy.

I was stunned myself, I felt like I was in the Fairy tale; Jack and the Beanstalk. The giant—that was Yemma eyes peered at the three of us.

"Kami, what brings you here at this time? I'm busy, as you can see; no, I'm always busy!" People were dying left and right, he could barely do anything at this time of the month. People seem to die more around this time.

"Well, it's a somewhat urgent matter; this guy here will explain it, his name's Turles." Kami immediately turned to me to take over the situation.

"Oh, Turles, was it?" King Yemma looked between me and Goku, he was a bit stunned but he had seen twins before, so this faded quickly.

"Yes, me and Kak-Goku wish to train with King Kai. We wish to grow strong in order to combat the threat that is Frieza. The other Saiyans have also been destroying and conquering planets. Frieza is the one in the center of it all. If we were to train, we'll be able to defeat Frieza—this would even shorten your workload with the large fluctuation of dead people coming in."

I briefly explained my reasoning.

Goku was shocked, did all of those people he had seen before die because of Frieza!? How evil, he thought. However, Goku had misunderstood quite a lot here, not every here was dead because of Frieza. In fact, that was a very small number with it only being the people he had seen from Frieza's corp.

"Frieza! That guy's been running rampant in the Universe for far too long." King Yemma said with annoyance. There was no telling how many people he had judged that worked for Frieza, and the ones they had killed in his name.

King Yemma looked between me and Goku before opening the large book on his desk. My guess was—he was looking to check our past merits and deeds. I was getting nervous, would I be held accountable for the past Turles?

"Goku, you have done many good deeds and services in your life." King Yemma nodded with a smile. Goku's name was the first to appear; perhaps it was an alphabetical orderly book. Kami nodded, this was to be expected, but what about Turles?

"Turles...Hmm..." King Yemma rubbed his forehead in confusion, he didn't see any information here, really. There was nothing good, nor was there anything bad, it didn't make sense. It almost seemed like Turles was a newborn baby of sorts.

This had secretly shocked King Yemma, he had never run into this scenario for a fully grown man. It was only so for those babies that died unjustly deaths. King Yemma nodded, he didn't want to think about it too much—this was just too confusing and didn't add up.

"You guys may head off to King Kai's place, tell him I said...Hi." King Yemma called a nerdy blue Ogre over with glasses, then he had him escort us toward SnakeWay's passage.

I sighed in relief, I didn't know what he had read about me but he gave me and Goku the green light. Kami smiled, it looked like everything worked out; the tenseness he was feeling before had relaxed completely.

"Right this way guys." The nerdy ogre held a clipboard, as he signaled us to follow him. We all followed behind the little ogre, we looked around often until we reached a door. Once the door was opened, SnakeWay was there for us to see.

The entrance to SnakeWay was the head of a large serpent, while the trail and skies were covered in golden clouds that resembled a Flying Nimbus.

"Wow, how long does it go? How far?" Goku flew up and looked into the distance, he put his hand on his forehead to see if he could see the ending, but he couldn't.

"It should be around 10,000 miles, right?" I looked into the distance and assumed, I had a smile on my face.

"No, it's around a million miles or less, I hear that it's less, though; being 625 miles instead." The nerdy ogre wrote something on his clipboard as he spoke carefreely. My smile froze instantly, around 1 million miles, 625 miles?!

"How long is that?" Goku asked Kami, and Kami could only sigh looking at SnakeWay. This road seemed endless, wouldn't a normal person die before reaching any destinations?

Turles' expression changed a bit, this was suicidal for a regular person, it really did test someone's endurance, perseverance, and will.

"Alright, let's do it!" Goku landed on the ground near Kami and began stretching before saying that he'd race me there.

Race you? You must be joking? I would surely win and get there before him.

"Alright, off you two go..." Kami laughed a bit hearing Goku mention a race, it sounded more like a death race when he heard it.

I nodded Kami's ways before grinning at Goku and flying off at rapid speeds!

"Hey, that's cheating!" Goku hurriedly and chased after me, but I was too fast.

"Haha, all is fair in love and war, you snooze you lose." I hastened my speed. Due to my Battle Power, I was much faster than him. Goku wasn't slow, he actually faster than he was when he traveled across SnakeWay in the series.

I thought to myself, me and Goku would surely get hungry on our way. I also needed to clean my clothes since I was such a clean freak.

Then I remembered something, yes, I could visit the Snake Princess for a little bit on my way to King Kai's place.
