3 Chapter 3: Power up?.

'Ugh my head hurts!' I internally yelled as I opend my eyes only to realize I was back on the bed I woke up on and this time, I wasn't alone.

"Genshi are you okay?" said a deep voice that was filled with nothing but worry, looking up to see a black haired bearded man with a tanned face.

Realizing who this person was, and even though I have never met or seen him before, but I felt like I had spent several years with him.

a warmth of familiarity washed over me and instinctively I opened my mouth.

"F- Father..." saying that his worried face disappeared and what replaced it was a warm smile.

"You are ok..." in which after he proceeded to lift me up and celebrated in joy that I was ok?.

'Hopefully I find out in which part of the earth I was reborn in and build my way from there' I thought as I was lifted into the air by my happy father.

(3 years later) Mc is currently 10

It has been 3 years since I have been reborn in what am sure is the dragonball world and I have finally acknowledge the memories of 7 years worth of life in this world also making the feelings and experiences of the previous owner to merge with mine, ultimately becoming one person.

Father noticed the change in attitude and behavior but just blamed it on maturity which confused me but I didn't pay it any mind.

Anyways 2 years ago when I was home alone and my curiosity took over me yet again, so I walked towards the large rock that was definitely hiding something.

(Flash back)

"Dang what's behind this thing" I said as I looked at the large rock and have been for a few minutes now trying to move it with no avail.

"If you want to know why don't you get strong enough" my father said from behind me.

"Oh father..." I said in a bit of surprise.

"That rock is probably too hard for you right now, but am sure if you train hard and we'll enough; you will break it with ease" he said with a smirk.

"I can be stronger!?" I said with excitement, since I came into this world I have done nothing but stay in this cave like room with nothing to do which really bored me out.

"Yup and your training starts today since you should have started 2 years ago I'll increase the intensity" he said with a smile which made me nervous.

(Flashback end)

After a year of relentless physical training, a year of martial training, and another year of body training with martial training mixed in, i was finally allowed some rest before having to continue.

Oh if your wondering about what martial arts i was trained in; it is called the prime arts of the golden dragon, it was quite hard learning this style as i didn't have any martial experience in my old life but after a couple of months in i was able to grasp the meaning of the style and even improved it, must be the work of my high natural potential wish, guess it works with martial training i wouldn't have known if my father never noticed and pointed it out.

Anyways today was supposed to be exciting because i will be following my father out to hunt for today's lunch.

"Are you ready?" he said as walked towards me.

"Yup!" i said in an excited tone as if i was a kid that was just given a new toy, even though am basically 26 mentally, it doesn't matter now that am reborn, because in others eyes am 10 and about to hunt for me and my fathers lunch.

"Then try to keep up" he said as he blurred out of my vision and appeared on a tree not far from my sight "no problem!" i said without minding the speed he just displayed.

Adding strength onto my leg i sped towards the direction he was but all was for naught as he blurred again and was already further ahead.

"You are really fast father" i said in a tired tone as i slowly walked towards my father whom was relaxing on a tree.

"Oh?, you finally appeared" he said in a surprised tone "faster than i expected" he said as he jumped down from the tree.

It is true because while i was running and trying to catch up to him i pushed myself harder and increased more strength on my legs and out of nowhere i sped up faster than i expected but after doing so i felt so out of energy that i forgot about it until now.

"Anyways rest up for a bit then we hunt" he said as he jumped back onto the tree with no effort.

'Now that i think about it, didn't i wish for the power to read power levels?' i thought before mentally putting my head down in shame at the fact that i forgot such a thing for 3 years.

The past is the past, now i want to know if i really have this stuff or that questionnaire scammed me and had nothing to do with my reincarnation.

Focusing on my father whom was looking around the grass forest that we currently were on.

I tried multiple ways to activate this power level thing but to no avail.

'Do i really not have it?' i thought before trying one last time, 'Read ki signature' i tried one more time and to my surprise a three digit number appeared on top of my fathers head.

PL: 280

Seeing the power level of my father i was quite surprised and dumbfounded because if i remember right, from the dragon ball wiki this should be quite close to piccolo.

After a bit of resting my head i tried to check my power level which showed 2 digits

PL: 30

Seeing my PL i was surprised because this shouldn't be the average power level of a human as this is three times kid Goku's PL, 'and if I had probably trained 2 years earlier I might have been stronger' I thought with wonder.

"Are you ok?" snapping me out of my thoughts my father asked " you have been making some weird faces for a while now" he said with a smirk i didn't understand.

"No,am fine" i answered back 'ill come back to these later' i thought as i dispersed my previous thoughts.

"Well let get a move on, we cant keep the Ferocisaurus waiting" he said as he sped away with decent speed

"Ferocisaurus?" i said aloud trying to remember where i heard that name before and when i realized what it was, i was brought out of my thoughts by a loud roar.

"Your goal is to cut its tail and escape with it" father said before he blurred out of my vision leaving me to deal with this orange T-rex looking dino.

"why do i feel a sense of deja-vu" i said with a wry smile.

Roar!! with the loud ferocious roar of the dinosaur it set its sights on Genshi ready to chomp down on his little body.

'Read ki signature' i mentally commanded as i dodged the approaching dinosaurs charge with ease making it hit the tree behind me breaking it down with no effort, shaking off the failed charge like it was nothing the big T-Rex looking dino charged towards Genshi again with the intent to make him pay.

PL: 50

After getting its power level scanned i landed on the ground with the intent of facing it head on even after seeing the power it just displayed and the reading of its power level i still felt the urge to fight and come out on top, 'what's gotten into me all of a sudden?' I thought as I stared the dino down.

My mission is to cut its tail off and escape which i can barely do even if I find something sharp enough to cut it's tail; but my only goal right now is to fight it and win even if the odds were stacked against me 'something really is wrong with me' I thought but I couldn't hide the smirk that was slowly forming on my face.

(3rd pov)which do you prefer 3rd or 1st person

With the odds stacked against him Genshi sped forward towards the Ferocisaurus with speed that the dinosaur could barely follow, Bam!! a loud impact was made as Genshi striked at the dinosaurs head which barely showed a scratch. shaking off the blow on its head the Ferocisaurus swung its long tail towards the descending figure of Genshi whom narrowly dodged the swing but was flung towards the ground with the force the tail emitted.

*Click*

"That was exciting!" Genshi said as he barely landed on his feet as he slid on the floor to a stop that was interrupted by the Ferocisaurus that was about to crush Genshi with its foot.

thinking this useless battle was over the dinosaur was ready to see the broken body of the little boy, but what took its attention was that his foot still hadn't touch the grassy floor it had expected to.

*Click*

"I wont lose!" Genshi yelled with vigor as a blueish aura burst fourth from within him, given the dinosaur no chance to retaliate he lifts its into the air and using the foot of the dinosaur, Genshi slammed it on the ground with all his new found strength causing a loud Boom!!, leaving nothing but a Dino sized crater.

*Shiiii*

(1st pov)

"Incredible" i said, as i felt my new found strength; then looking at my PL that jumped from 30 to 60.

I smirked at my jump in power before looking at the Ferocisaurus that was trying to stand up with difficulty, with a quick thought i raised my palm towards the Ferocisaurus 'hopefully this works' i thought as i tried to draw out some of the overflowing energy in me, and in a few seconds a dark blue-ish ball started to form infront of my outstretched palm.

" This is amazing!" i said in wonder and surprise 'ill explore more later it about time i relieved him of his pain' i thought as i glanced towards the bloodied dino.

"Time for you to die" i said as i vanished from the dinos vision and appeared on the air 'lets try this' i said as i cocked my hand back while pumping some of the ki/energy that i just gained access to, i striked at its back with enough force that it blew a hole through its back and out its stomach.

"Ok thats a bit much" i said with a disgusted face "oh well i still need to complete my mission" i said overcoming my disgust like it was nothing.

"Well time to find dad" i said as i took off the Ferocisaurus's tail and moved away from the area.
