17 Chapter 17: Hunt for the dragonballs

"Hey!" Genshi called as he saw Bulma pack some stuff into the capsules.

"Oh you came just in time" Bulma said towards the descending Genshi.

"For what?" Genshi asked the blue haired girl.

"Happy birthday!" Said Bulma as panchy, tights and Dr brief walked into the backyard with a cake.

"You shouldn't have..." Genshi said with overwhelming emotion, even he had forgotten that his birthday was on February the 15th and only told Bulma once when he she asked him and he had forgotten about it ever since.

"This is the least we could do" Tights said with a smile, even though she was on a trip, she decided to cancel it just for the long haired little boy that she friended not so long ago.

"And you are about to go on a maybe dangerous adventure in your young age" Dr brief said.

"Even if you are very strong you are still just a baby to us" Panchy said with her ever so present smile.

"Thank you guys, even if it's just been a month since I have been with you guys, I know that you guys have also become my family" Genshi said with a smile before he was pulled into a hug by the blond housewife.

"Oh my little Genshi" Panchy said before Bulma, tights, Dr brief and their cats joined in on the hug, this was a day that Genshi will remember in his adventure and fighting filled life.

***6 hours later***

After the birthday and emotional rollercoasters, Genshi and Bulma were ready to start their hunt for the dragonballs.

"Goodbye everybody!" Genshi said as he and Bulma left, Bulma via car while he flew.

"Sigh* they grow too fast" Dr brief said with a sigh as he turned around, ready to go back to creating stuff.

"Yeah" Panchy said as she followed after.

"Hopefully nothing happens to them" Tights said as she also walked away.

So where are we heading first?" Genshi asked as he flew beside the red car with his legs crossed and his eyes closed feeling the air brush last his face.

"The radar has picked up a dragonball signature quite a ways from the city so we will be heading there" Bulma said while paying attention to the road.

"Ok then" Genshi said as the car ride through the forever stretched road.

"Are we there yet?" Genshi asked as he yawned from boredom.

"No but we are close" Bulma said as they drove through the rocky road.

"Sitting in this car was a big mistake" Genshi said as he looked out through the window.

"Well if you wanted to sleep then you would of course have to come in" Said Bulma stating the obvious.

"Well how about I take over driving while you rest?" Genshi suggested.

"Yeah sure, just keep going straight" Bulma said with a tired yawn as she stoped the car letting Genshi take the wheels.

"On it, just rest and take a nap," Genshi said as he started the car.

"Yeah sure, just don't crash us" She warned as she entered the backseat.

*** a week later***

It seemed that Genshi had some driving experience and was able to drive the car way better than Bulma did, fast enough to get to their location faster and gentle enough to not wake up the sleeping Bulma.

"Hey wake up Bulma, I think we are here" Genshi said as he woke the girl.

"We are here already?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"Yup and it seems this will be quite easy to get" Genshi said as they now stood Infront of a large mountain and on top was a shiny golden ball that shined brightly.

"Well be careful" Bulma said as Genshi began to float on top it.

'In the original dragonball Bulma already had the five star, so this must have been easy to get' Genshi thought but he decided to be careful even though he was quite over powered in the current timeline compared to the Z fighters before the namek saga, he was sure some unexpected stuff could appear.

'This isn't the original dragonball timeline after all' Thinking this he finally reached the top and took the dragonball.

"Got it" Genshi yelled towards Bulma as he held the five star dragonball up.

"Awesome, now get back down here so we can discuss what to do!" Bulma yelled back.

"Coming!" Genshi said preparing to fly back down.

*Roar*

But he was rudely interrupted by a loud roar making him turn his body to see the giant figure of a dino that he knew so well.

'Motherfucker' Genshi thought remembering the day he almost died thanks to one of them.

"Fuck off you T-rex wanna be!" Genshi cursed as he kicked it with his leg making the dino get sent flying a few meters away.

"Where did it come from anyway" Genshi said as he landed on the ground and next to the shocked Bulma.

"You were this strong?" Bulma asked with disbelief, all her time she had known Genshi he had only displayed enough strength to carry a truck, or blow decent sized rocks to smithereens.

"Not really" Genshi said as the T-rex wanna be stood up with a pained expression.

"You still wanna go?, I didn't even use half of my power" Genshi said to the dino but instead of it running away like any smart animal would, it started running towards Genshi and Bulma.

"Good I don't like cowards anyway" Genshi said as he welcomed the challenge.

*Roar!!*

Roaring like a beast it was it continued to charge towards Genshi whom began to hover into the air.

"Stay back Bulma, I don't want you getting hurt now do I?" Genshi asked as Bulma stood back.

"No you don't" Bulma answered as she watched Genshi fly towards the dino.

"Let make this quick, I haven't had anyone to spar with anyway" Genshi said as he stretched his body.

*Roar!!* Saying nothing but roaring, Genshi shot towards the dino with breakneck speeds.

"Can you tank this?" Genshi asked as he punched the dino with a suppressed power of 100, making the dino fall to the ground and causing a big crater to form under it and around it.

"Wow you are still alive?" Genshi said as he looked at the barely alive dino whom was breathing with ragged breaths and blood flowing down it's head.

"Do you want to live? or do you want to be mine?" Genshi asked the dino which looked at Genshi with a puzzled look.

"If you become my pet you will have to stop trying to kill people" Genshi said to the dino.

*Roar!!* It roared in response as it tried to stand up, it's eyes filled with undeniable rage.

How could it be humiliated like this?, this is unacceptable!.

"I guess that's a no, I guess you could do for a good dinner" Genshi said with a smile as the dino watched as a blue blade made out of ki materialized from Genshi's hand.

"Thanks for the food" Genshi said as he smiled before cutting the dino from the head, killing it right there and there.

'Well I will get a dino pet soon' Genshi thought as the body of the dino fell to the ground.

" I'll tell Bulma to let us stay here for the night" Genshi said as he flew back towards Bulma's direction.
