16 Chapter 16: Preparing for an adventure
" Hey Bulma can you pass me the screw over there?" Genshi asked a lab coat dressed Bulma.
"Yeah sure" She answered as she picked up the scream and threw it towards Genshi whoms head was under a red car.
"Thanks" He thanked as he caught the screw with ease and continued bolting the unders of the car.
***6 minutes later***
"Ok... am done" Genshi said as he pushed his head out of the under of the car.
"Great now we can use this when we start our adventure" Bulma said with a happy smile.
"Well just you because I'll be flying most of the time" A dirty Genshi said as he took a towel and started wiping his dirtied face.
"But you will drive with me won't you?" Bulma said with a sad face.
"Yeah when I feel like it" Genshi answered with a smile not getting affected by the sad face Bulma just showed.
"Jerk" Bulma answered as they walked out of the room.
"If am a jerk then what are you" Genshi refuted making her already mad face glow red.
"The most beautiful and intelligent girl in the world!" She stated making Genshi chuckle.
"Yeah sure..." He replied as they walked into the dinner room.
"Oh my look at you Genshi boy" The voice of Dr brief said as he also walked into the dinner room.
"Oh if it isn't Dr brief" Genshi politely said as he greeted the old man, you see Genshi and Dr brief and become good friends after Genshi showed good knowledge in scientific work a week after he stated visiting the briefs.
"So what are you guys planning this days" Dr brief asked Genshi and the pouting Bulma.
"Well we are preparing to look for all the dragonballs and see if the legends about the wish granting dragon is true" Genshi answered the man as panchy joined them.
"Well i won't worry much because I know you will Bulma safe if anything happens to happen" Dr brief said with no intent to stop the adventure eager kids.
"I don't mind either just stay safe you guys" Panchy said also giving her consent.
"No problem I'll keep her safe" Genshi said as Bulma looked at her parents with a bit of anger.
"Why are you talking like this, I can take care of myself it's not like we are about to go fight aliens or something jeez...." She said as she left the room.
"Well that happened..." Genshi said breaking the silence that descended in the room.
"Sure did" Dr brief answered making panchy chuckle a bit Genshi following a but after.
"She is just nervous" Panchy said making Dr brief nod, Genshi doing the same.
***1 hour later***
After talking a little more with the briefs Genshi left the house and flew back to the lookout.
It has been a month since Genshi first visited the briefs and in three months he had helped Bulma make some of the things she would to start her adventure with him, and in a week Genshi and Bulma will start their search for their third dragonball since Bulma already had the two star. And Genshi with the three star that he showed Bulma after they finshed the radar.
"Am back!" Genshi yelled as he landed on the lookout and instead of expecting a welcome he had to block an incoming fist.
"Now why would you attack me" Genshi asked Yui whom had just tried to punch a hole in his head.
"You have been gone for more than a month, I just wanted to see if you continued your training" She said as she retracted her fist.
"Even if I stoped training do you think you will even be able land a hit on me?" Genshi teased the girl making her eyes twitch.
"You just have to wait and find out" She said as she turned around and began walking to her room.
"You were worried about me?" Genshi asked her as he followed behind her.
"I don't need to" She replied.
"And why is that?" Genshi pressed on.
"Because I simply don't need to" She answer with an aggrieved tone.
"Oh well I will go find Kami" Genshi said not wanting to press on.
*** 10 minutes later***
"There you are Kami" Genshi as he found Kami at the other side of the lookout.
"You are back, huh? I thought you married and left with your bride" Kami said to Genshi.
"Oh come on, why would you think that!" Genshi yelled at the old man.
"Well anyways I just came to tell you that me and a friend of mine will be going on an adventure to search for all the dragonballs" Genshi stated making Kami look at him unsurprised.
"I knew you would do so eventually" Kami said to Genshi.
"Well you are right" Genshi said.
"About what?" Kami asked.
"You will know in the future" Genshi said with a smile.
"Well I guess I will" Said the old god not wanting to press on the matter.
***2 weeks later***
"I want to go with you" Yui said with a determined face.
"And why should I do that?" Genshi asked his maybe cousin.
"I don't want to be stuck here doing nothing, besides there's only an old man and a weird genie here" She protested.
"Well that old man and weird genie are able to defeat you in seconds" Genshi said making her pride deflate.
"Damn it, am sure I can beat them" She said trying to gain her deflated pride.
"Then do it" Genshi said as Mr popo came out of one of the lookout's building.
"Hey, Mr popo let's have a quick spar" She hurriedly asked the genie.
"Am too busy right now maggot" He denied as he picked a bucket and began watering his plants.
"Damn it!" She cursed before looking at Kami whom was looking down on earth.
"May I ask for a quick spar?" She asked the old green god.
"Well am busy watching over the earth so maybe another time" He said also denieing her.
"Well see ya" Genshi said with a smirk as he let himself fall down from the lookout.
"This was all setup wasn't it!" She yelled as her aura flared.
"Well if you don't learn to tone down that pride and anger issues, then Genshi might never take you anywhere or worse stop help training you" Kami said as he continued to look down on earth.
*Tsk*
Clicking her tongue she began to walk back to her room with something clouding her mind.
'Do I really have to rely on this people to get stronger?' she asked herself as she reached her room.
'Grandma said that I needed to be strong to take back what truly belongs to me and make the weak bow to me but how can I do this with Genshi being stronger than me' she thought.
'ill just continue to decieve them then when am strong enough, I'll make all humans pay for what they did to my family...' As she was thinking this the door to her room was knocked on making her disperse her thoughts.
"Mr popo?" She asked as the door opened.
"Come to the dark side...." Mr popo said as he stared at her with a creepy smile.
"What ..." Surprised by this she stood up and walked towards him.
"Anyway am ready to spar" Mr popo said making his once creepy face turn to that of his usual self.
"Oh is that so" Yui said as she did need to let out all her anger.
"Come to the back of the lookout" Saying this Mr popo left the room.
"Yeah I'll join you in a minute" Yui answered as she closer her door.
"What a weird being" She said as she began to prepare for her spar.
