10 Chapter 10: Quite an hectic finals

After the disappointing mach that spoiled Genshi's mood, he swept past the remaining fights with some fight and using his opponent's as his training partners he expanded his knowledge in martial arts and different styles of them making his foul mood somewhat better.

After a very long preliminary. The finalist were decided with Genshi being one of the eight parcitipants that went on to the finals.

"This might actually get interesting" Genshi said as he followed the blond and energetic looking male announcer to get their spots in the finals, with were the other seven finalist.

"Please pick your numbers so we can go on with the finals" the blond announced with bright energy.

"Well I'll go first I guess" I said as I went forward to pick my number.

And the fights were placed like this:

Fight one: Yui vs Genshi Ryu

Second fight: Misuteri vs Ninki

Third fight: King chappa vs Miman

Fourth fight: Tadashi vs Hidari

Finals: ???

"Soon that name shall be known around the world" A purple haired woman dressed in a yellow and pink martial arts gown said with confidence.

"Which one" Genshi asked with curiosity.

"Oh you must be the little brat the other contestants were talking about" The woman said with a bit of interest.

"But they must all have been quite weak to have lost to a little boy such as yourself" The purple haired woman said.

"But I'll give you some advise and tell you to just give up when you are facing me, because I won't give any mercy" She said as she began to walk away.

"The way you talk us kinda cringe, but I won't have any problems with you if you show me an outstanding form of martial arts" Genshi retorted as he crossed his legs while floating surprising the bystanders and other parcitipants.

"My legs are getting quite bored of the ground" Genshi said as he hovered towards the announcer.

"Uhm can I get some light snacks before the match?, it has been a long day so I need some food you know" Genshi said to the shocked blond.

"Yes definitely, just go to the building around the corner" He said with a but of energy after regaining his composure.

"Thanks" Genshi thanked as he hovered to the appointed building.

"What an interesting boy..." A man with blue skin, short red hair and a single dot on his said with a smirk.

"Here you go again with your 'interesting' bullshit, stop with that shit, for a second for bullshits sake" A red haired woman whom looked a lot like the man said with a foul mouth.

"But..." Before the man could say anything else their attention was drawn by Genshi coming back into the arena building with a bag of chips.

"Isn't he interesting?" The man said with a new emotion in his eyes.

"Oh my bullshit bullshit" The woman said as she saw the glint in his eyes.

"Ladies and gentlemen!!!!!" The blond announcer yelled with so much energy that the microphone in his hands trembled.

"I shall now welcome you to the 20th Tenkaichi Budōkai the 20th time this tournament has been held!!" The blond yelled through the microphone.

"We shall begin today's finals with a match which the competitors are Sun kei vs Genshi Ryu, So please welcome to the stage, Yui!!" Announcing this a black haired girl cut in a mohawk with black colored gi and martial arts gloves which had the kanji for respect embedded on it walked on to the stage with confidence.

"What's with kids coming to such a glorious place as if it was a playground" the purple haired woman whom Genshi had a little talk with a few minutes ago said with disinterest.

"Without further Ado let's welcome our other competitor, Genshi Ryu!!" With that being said; Genshi hovered towards the arena with a face of satisfaction.

"Hey there" Genshi said as he uncrossed his legs and landing on his foots.

"I only ask for a honorable and exciting match" she said taking a stance.

"With this, the match may begin" The blond announcer announced, starting the match.

"With pleasure" Genshi answered as he took his own stance.

Flashing away and appearing behind Genshi the girl went for a low kick that Genshi easily jumped over, and made some distance. And before she could react she was sent flying towards the arenas floor.

"Shoot, I might have added a little power into that" Genshi said with surprise.

"That was an amazing punch" But it seemed Genshi's worry was for naught as Yui appeared a little away from him.

"Wait I thought you fell off the arena" Genshi said as he placed a hand on his chin.

"I almost did" She replied before taking her stance and flashing towards Genshi again.

"And what happened?" Genshi asked as he dodged a punch followed by a high kick which paved a path for an hammer kick in which Genshi blocked, a shockwave picking up and a decent crater forming on the arena ground.

"Your tough" Yui said as she used Genshi's arm to jump back.

"And your impressive" Genshi said as he took a stance.

"But I want more" He continued as he initiated his first ever attack in the tournament.

"Here I come" He warned as he flashed towards his opponent and went for a simple blow.

"Don't underestimate me!" She exclaimed as she dodged it and went for a side kick that Genshi deflected with a motion of his hand.

And in the very eyes of the spectators, Genshi and Yui fought like masters that had been training their whole life.

"Your art is amazing" Genshi said in excitement as he went for a uppercut that Yui barely dodged and went for a counter.

"I am delighted you are enjoying this battle as much as I am" The martial girl said as the frame of Genshi vanished and a kick suddenly appearing and forcing her to block. Making her blowed away by the force.

"I enjoy fights and the adrenaline that comes from it but I don't like stalemates" Genshi said with a smile that said he was not playing around anymore.

"Neither do I" Yui said as she stood up from the ground with hagared breaths.

"I'll show you a bit of my power" Genshi said as his power level went from a heavily suppressed 200 to a weighted suppressed 500.

"What the..." Feeling the power Genshi just released, Yui was dumbfounded but she powered through and assumed a different stance.

"Here I come again" Genshi warned once again as he vanished. A second later appearing Fist to face Infront of Yui.

"Phoenix art" Yui called out as red hot flame burst out from her fist and quickly collided with Genshi's causing a little shockwave to shake the arena they were standing on.

"What power..." The male redhead said followed by the immediate curses of his companion.
