57 Freeza

A few days passed after Goku and Nappa's battle, this clash once again showed Raditz how good Goku was at fighting, because the man actually managed to fight Oozaru Nappa to a standstill.

Nobody won, but fighting with such a big disparity was something unthinkable for anyone else, Nappa shouldn't even be injured the way he was.

"Kakarot.."

Raditz's head turned hearing Nappa's mumbles, and he found Nappa attempting mediation and failing from his anger.

Knowing this is no way to continue, Raditz left Android T's torso that he was working on and walked upto Nappa.

"K-king!"

Without even needing to be told, Nappa opened his eyes, which made Raditz smile, Nappa could actually sense him now, even though he was constantly getting distracted by his loss against Goku.

Nappa was talented alright, he also had more experience than a lot of people, knowing that, Raditz was trying to dig out that potential.

"I expect nothing less from my right hand man, you managed to get sensing down within 3 days, excellent."

"But Nappa, if you want to grow further, you have to learn how to calm down, I can sense there is a way forward for every Saiyan, it won't work with an angry mind."

Hanging his head out of shame Nappa contemplated Raditz's words, he knew Raditz was the legendary Super Saiyan, so his feelings about their potential should be true.

But he had a hard time wrapping his head around the concept of Kakarot almost defeating him, he was Oozaru for god's sake, this shouldn't have happened.

"... It's a shame to lose my first fight as your right hand man your Majesty."

Waving his hand Raditz sat on the air with his hands folded.

"Think nothing of it, brother is a true warrior, his ability to keep thinking in difficult situations is immense."

Nodding his head Nappa sighed, he knew that, but still losing in such a shameful way irked him.

But now he won't show his rage any longer, he was also a Saiyan, a natural born warrior, instincts to fight was in ever Saiyan's blood, Nappa had them too.

"I'll defeat Kakarot."

This was how Nappa decided to channel his anger, he focused the entirety of it on defeating Goku, and Raditz had no issues with that.

Goku had already challenged him multiple times, and Raditz didn't even need to transform to defeat Goku, so Raditz was getting kinda bored of fighting.

Goku didn't go through his Namek time training regimen yet, he only was a slightly better than what he was when he left king kai, but Raditz was constantly growing stronger naturally, his Ooazru to base method pushing him along.

"You do that, don't let anger distract you any longer, I don't mind you losing, but my right hand man cannot always keep losing."

"I understand King!"

Giving a royal salute to Raditz, Nappa smiled, but just when he wanted to speak again.

"Hey Brother!"

Goku's voice broke his flow, turning towards the sky where Goku was currently falling from, Nappa clenched his teeth.

Here comes Kakarot again, can't he see King is going easy on him because he is King's brother? Nappa was both angry yet somewhat proud that Goku had the courage to come every day even after losing repeatedly.

Getting up from the ground, Nappa menacingly walked upto Goku and pointed his finger at his chest.

"Kakarot, you have some nerve coming to the royal palace everyday! You are not to visit unless you are called for!"

Making a sad face Goku tried to wiggle his way in like he always did.

"Don't be like that Nappa, it'll be fun! Chichi's not there and Gohan is sleeping! I came as soon as he slept, if I am late he'll wake up."

Twitching his lips Nappa scolded Goku mercilessly.

"Your mate's just as dumb as you are Kakarot, deciding to run off to the city we were attacking with a mountain of books in hand, for your kid to study mid battle, seriously who does that? This planet's army was attacking the place."

"And you getting bored is not the King's problem! Weren't you going to revive your mate?! Get on with it and leave at once."

Wilting like a plant Goku sighed.

"But the Dragonball's won't recharge for an entire year, I was just revived, I have to wait another year to get her back."

"And that's not fair, brother is the king, he dosen't mind me coming here!"

But before Nappa and Goku could argue further, Nappa's scouter beeped to life.

*Beep beep beep*

It was a steady continuous beep, which signified a call rather than a power scan.

Widening his eyes, Nappa looked at the person who was calling him and turned to Raditz.

"King... It's Vegeta, should I pick it up?"

This also had Raditz raise his eyebrows, Vegeta's call wasn't something he expected, giving him a nod Raditz watched Nappa put the scouter on loudspeaker.

"Vegeta."

Nappa said calmly, to which there was silence from the other side for a few seconds, before Vegeta's voice came through.

"Nappa, Freeza has found the Dragonballs, a different set of Dragonballs than earth, and he is planning to get immortality with them."

"What?!?"

Nappa almost shrieked, this was such a bad news it wasn't even funny, both Raditz and Goku also started listening seriously, Raditz Knowing this was coming and Goku knowing this was the guy who killed his family and race.

Vegeta not caring about anything else kept talking in a serious voice.

"I don't expect a coward like you to stop him, but let him know, the the new king, that I am going to Namek to stop him, and gain immortality for myself."

"I'll be coming back for him soon, and when I return, I'll regain my rightful place as ruler."

*Beep*

The communication was cut right after that from Vegeta's side, and silence was palpable in the room.

Something which Raditz decided to break.

"We have to stop Freeza, the moment he gets immortality he'll he impossible to kill even for me."

"Freeza will come for us sooner or later, we are Saiyan's, he won't let us live, it's better if we take the fight to him when we can."

Both Nappa and Goku nodded to Raditz's words, looks like they'll have to make a trip to outer space soon.

After some discussions, Goku went out to call the rest of the z fighters, Raditz went to speak with Bulma and check on the spaceship they were buliding together.

And Nappa meanwhile was thinking about the Dragonballs and wishes, maybe he should wish for something if the chance presents itself.
