Trashing Vegeta

Alex calmed down Raditz by placing a hand on his shoulder

"Relax! Those who are gone cannot be brought back but I believe that other saiyans must have survived just like Kakarot."

"Do you really think so?"

"Yes!"

"In fact I do remember many of the low level planets that had been selected for the saiyans disappearance. I do plan to hopefully convince Vegeta to set out across such planets to find out a survivor."

Alex tried to bluff Raditz but he pretty soon met with a counter from Raditz.

"I really don't believe that any of them have survived. If they survived then why didn't they contact Planet Vegeta.And why the hell did Planet Vegeta didn't find them for so long."

"Aha! Why the heck do you expect a planet that couldn't even detect an asteroid approaching in advance to find

some far off survivors?"

Raditz almost felt something wrong with that sentence but he neglected that idea as at his current level he couldn't even begin to imagine someone destroying a planet full of saiyans.

To him an undetected asteroid was way more logical than even the notion of someone possessing such strength.

"Okay! I have to admit that you have a point. I'll be leaving you to rest now. Get ready for tomorrow's spar with Vegeta. He sure won't go easy on you."

Alex closed the door once Raditz left and went back to lie in his bed.

He had read in some texts back in the royal palaces library describing the inheritance of saiyan throne.

To take over the throne the aspirant king had to head on defeat the then crowned king in front of all the saiyans without any trickery.

Since King Vegeta had died due to the 'asteroid' Vegeta should have become the king. It was just that nobody was in the mood and it would be a terrifying humiliation for the proud Vegeta to admit that he was a king of a near extinct race with a population of 4 men.

Actually, he already had the idea of beating Vegeta in a duel and taking over the throne as the new king of all saiyans.

Freeza left out a couple of male saiyans as part of his collection but tried to kill of the remaining females by destroying Planet Vegeta itself.

The aliens in charge of incubation weren't suspicious of Freeza's intentionally followed his orders to keep the near 30 some female infants back even after they should have been sent out.

Actually he wasn't lying to Raditz as long as they searched the universe swiftly they would find many saiyans around.

Turles was the best example of them. He ate the forbidden fruit hmph hmph I meant the fruit of might (wink wink) and never came back again.

Once he took out a few female infants from his collection the saiyan race would no longer have the 'tag' of being extinct.

He had an wide eerie smile on his face as he drifted into dreams of Goku running into several strong big sisters along his growth journey.

The next morning

All the survivor saiyans gathered at the battle arena for the battle between Alex and Vegeta.

Both of them were the strongest and with the most potential among them.

Accoring to Raditz and Nappa if the planet Vegeta had not been destroyed these two would have had a bright future but now this fight was meaningless.

To Vegeta it was way to assert his supremacy as well as a way to vent away his recent frustrations.

At this critical moment Alex came forward and did a gesture unique to the challenging ceremony.

" I Alex challenge you Vegeta to decide who is worthy of being the king of the saiyans. Nappa as the oldest saiyan present will serve as the referee to our battle. "

Good!

Very Good!

Vegeta's veins throbbed with anger. If before he only had the intention of beating Alex casually then now he had every intention of butchering him.

Meanwhile Raditz and Nappa gasped deeply and looked at Alex with wonder and bewilderment in their expressions.

Nappa dazedly took his position as the referee and after checking them both for any unfair means signalled them to begin their battle.

Vegeta rushed forward and launched a unrelenting barrage with his fists and legs but was unable to hit Alex. He then backed way a bit and proceeded to fire a ki blast but was countered by Alex with a ki blast. Alex taking advantage of the smoke teleported behind Vegeta to launch a sneak attack but it was foiled by Vegeta's genius intuition.

They continued fighting back and forth for a while after which Alex decided to use a feint and used solar flare to temporarily blind Vegeta and used a kaiokenx3 punch in the gut to finish the drawn out battle.

Vegeta passed out after taking the kaioken enhanced punch. Nappa and Raditz rushed to check him and were relieved to see that he was alive.They really didn't want to lose another saiyan so soon.

"Nappa! please send the injured Vegeta to the infirmary and come back as soon as you can we will have a meeting over the future plans of the saiyan race.

Nappa picked up Vegeta stiffly and made his way to the infirmary. Today's events had made him so dizzy that he almost considered a health checkup but refrained to do so as he really wanted to see what new miracles his new king will perform.

Raditz looked at his friend in amazement and simply couldn't believe it.

It was just yesterday that they were talking about convincing Vegeta to take a trip to search for Saiyan survivors.

But is this what you meant by convincing?

Why are you so awesome?

Do you have to crush a innocent child's dream?

Poor Vegeta might not even be ready for your meeting when you start it.

You simply don't care about Vegeta's attitude, do you?

Alex looked at his friends strange expression and immediately knew that this guy must be having some really wild thoughts.

He proceeded to head back to his room and procured some notes and maps that he had prepared with his previous simulations.

These places were rich in resources and magical items which would boost their strength. There were even some pretty rare materials that would help them gorge their saiyan armor again.

Even though it might not compare to a zenkai boost how much zenkai could they take?

Also even if they left the resources it would only fall in the hands of freeza force.

After countless simulations if he didn't take the opportunity to nip the danger in bud then what was the point of getting a cheat.

He also wasn't going to just passively increase his battle power. He wanted to create a strong team of saiyans so that he could get get better candidates in the tournament of power.

If Jiren could reach that kind of power with his mortal body then he believed that he too could do it.

If Vegeta didn't perform well during his next plans then he wouldn't mind obliterating him.

As Alex and Vegeta started fighting

Alex used Kaioken times 3 and instantly beat Vegeta in a headon fight.

Nappa and Raditz had their mouths hanging open as they saw the scene.

Vegeta barely stood up and said, My bulma!!!

Alex immediately launched thespirit bomb at him.

The spirit bomb swept through the planet causing a huge loss of life and property.

Just as it seemed that all hope was lost a miracle occurred.

The author came out and stopped the destruction by summoning his mighty weapon- the 'eraser' and rewrote the entire scene to the one you saw earlier.
