14 Power Up and Mean Lady

For two days our ship's mood changed from boring into a party boat with music and full of energy. I learned more about Ivankov's personality and the unique ways he sees life. It was no wonder that he didn't go nuts on Impel Down and create his kingdom in the middle of underwater hell prison.

I also learn new things about my mountain demon power.

First, my Earth-Earth fruit got massive power-up, I can now control and unleash the power volcanic eruption both on land and under the ocean. This also applies to the control/immunity of magma and I believe I can easily awaken the power of fruit compared to other devil fruit users.

Second, my horse talisman's healing/regeneration power changed dramatically, instead of just healing, now I can control the flow of life and death. This means that I can give or take the life energy of a living being, the bigger and stronger the being, the more I can absorb or take away the life energy. This is how Po Kong regenerates her wounds by absorbing trees' life energy around her. I was exempt during battle because of Shendu's power within me.

Third, my ox talisman grew much stronger as well, I can feel my strength and endurance tripled. I can use the Armament and observation Haki without straining my body or need to heal myself after short use. I guess the trait of the 8 demons can upgrade the talisman's power accordingly.

Fourth, I can't use the Earth Earth fruit to activate the Dai Gui's portal, an earth demon. This means that I have to find another fruit user who can use the element of earth. Crocodile, President of Baroque Works is most likely the key to earth demon portal.

Lastly, my physical training with the use of Garp and Z's memory started to show improvement dramatically. By improving my body, I can now use two haki and the fighting style of two marines more effectively to where I can fight grown men without the use of talisman or devil fruits.

After 2 days of sailing, we finally arrived at Mirefield island, the island has a large city similar to Loguetown and has a lively atmosphere all around the city. When we got out of the ship, Ahriu took our Tequila Wolf passengers to a known associate on the edge of the port to give them a new identity. Bunny Joe, Ivankov and I went to a hidden base outside of the city. Before leaving the ship, Ivankov used his devil fruit to change his sex and wear different clothes to hide true identity. It only took us 15 minutes to get out of the city and reach the hidden base of the Revolutionary Army, which turned out to be a large orchard, growing various fruits from apple to grapes.

"Sorry David, but you have to wait outside for a bit. Commander Ivankov and I have to give a report and you are not yet a member of the Revolutionary Army. I will get you when we are done." Bunny Joe stopped me from entering the main building and explained the reason why. I knew they kept secrecy to the highest and there could be a watchful eye on me, so I decided to wait outside.

While waiting, I use my earth fruit to entertain myself by changing the rocks in my hand into miniature figurines of Ivankov, Bunny Joe and Ahiru. By the time I finish making the last figurines, someone approaches me and asks me a question, "Kid, what are you doing here? I don't remember seeing you here before, do you have some kind of business here?" I looked up, a young woman with purple hair with revealing clothes was standing on the opposite side of me. For a second I thought it was Invakov in his female form but I realized that it was a different person.

The young woman took interest in my figurines, "Miss, do you like the figurines I made?" I asked her and grabbed the Ivankov figurine to give it to her. When she grabbed the figurine she examined it for a few seconds, "This uncanny, you made it look exactly like a real person, including clothes and face." She said with praise. So it was a shock to me when she smashed the figurine to dust and destroy the rest of them without any hesitation. I tried to stop her but the deed was done, all my creations were turned to dust as the lady wiped the ground using her feet.

"I don't know who you are but you manage to create identical figurines of Revolutionary Army members using devil fruit. Either you are a spy from World Government or a just dumb kid with no common sense. You are coming with me, I have a few questions for you." A young woman said and grabbed my arm to take me inside of the same building where Bunn Joe and Ivankov went in a few minutes ago.

I was about to resist, a familiar voice called out to the woman, "Commander Betty, why are you outside? And why are you holding David's arm?" Ahiru spoke with surprise in her voice. Just as I was about to explain the situation, Belo Betty said with authority, "Ahiru, you know his boy? I was about to interrogate him for the possibility that he could be a spy, where is Bunny Joe and Ivankov?"

Just then, Ivankov and Bunny Joe came outside from the building, seeing the situation, Ivankov asked with a teasing voice, "Betty girl, where have you been? We've been waiting for you to brief you on our mission. Instead, here you are playing with our young cook boy. This is why you can't get a boyfriend, you don't have the woman's charm unlike me." With anger in her face, Betty released me and tried to smack Ivankov with her fist, but Ivankov just dodged her attack and continued to tease her.

Bunny Joe and Ahiru come to my side and look troubled by Invakov and Betty's fight. "Here we go again with these two." "Whenever they meet, it always ends up like this." Ahiru and Bunny Joe spoke as if this is normal. It took 30 minutes for both Betty and Ivankov to stop fighting and come back to the rest of the group. Betty is still angry at Ivankov but since she can't hit him, she just went inside to the building for a mission brief.

As Bunny Joe and Ahiru follow Betty, Ivankov looks at me and says, "You are coming as well, cook boy. Betty wants to ask you a few questions before you officially join our little club." With that he went inside, I stood where I was for a second before I asked "Wait, I'm already a member of the Revolutionary Army?"
