10 Operation Good Deed

David's POV

I slept until late afternoon, by the time I decided to leave the Hina's quarter sun was setting and cadets were returning from their training. Feeling hungry, I went to the mess hall for quick bites and got myself the first serving of a beef stew, thanks to the chief. Finishing my meal, I explore the rest of the ship to discover that Garp has tons of cannonballs and metal spears but few cannons to use them. "I guess this is how Garp hunts pirates in the ranged combat since he prefers to handle it himself."

Back in Hina's quarter, I waited until past midnight making sure that everyone was asleep except for the skeleton crew. Using my sheep talisman, I went to astral projection and went to Z's room to go inside of his dream.

Z's dream is the same as last night, going to a beautiful home but ends with the blood of his family, reliving his tragedy every night and enduring it with just his will is admirable but sad. I decided to use my first item here in this dream, adjusting to the 'Memory Filter', I made an 80/20 (Good/Bad) change in memory play so that he will experience more positive than negative in his dream.

After completing the first item, I went to a different dream to install a second item. I went to a dream when he was an instructor on his first day, with his pride, hope and enthusiasm, this was the perfect memory to put 'Heart of the Alpha Wolf' for the sake of his students. After completing the two objectives, I got out of the dream and headed towards my next target, Monkey D. Garp, Hero of the Marines.

There is only one reason why I'm going to Garp's dream, it is to know what is inside of that man's head. I mean, Garp is the most relaxed and absent-minded person in the One Piece next to his grandson, Luffy. I just hope his son, Monkey D. Dragon is different and won't destroy my expectation as a leader of the Revolutionary Army.

When I found Garp, he was in his bed asleep with a rice cracker in his hand, 'Dude, I swear, this man is only motivated only with food and smacking someone in the head.' I entered his dream after finishing my thought and the first thing I saw was him beating the crap out of a tiger but as an 8-year-old child. '.... I feel like I've seen this before, can't believe he was just like Luffy's minus Ace and Sabo.'

The dream changed and this time I was standing on a marine base in the East Blue, where Garp in his late teens was whooping everyone's ass in the training field. I saw first hand how he earned his nickname 'The Fist' as he smacked other marines like they are nothing, it shows a small glimpse that he enjoys his life as a marine showing off his strength without restraining. By the time Garp was done, the Commander of the base came to the training field and informed him that he was to report to the headquarter for officer training.

Once again the scene changed and this time, I was standing inside a dark prison where only sources of lights are torches in the wall. I knew where I was, this was the moment when Gol D. Roger asked Garp to take care of his son after his death. I watched the entire conversation between Roger and Garp in silence, two played a game of cat and mouse but in the end, Roger just surrendered to Garp without any resistance. This made Garp angry, not because he lost an opportunity to earn fame or glory but because he couldn't finish his final showdown against his long time rival, Garp wanted to fight like a fighter, but now he felt cheated in the end. Roger himself wasn't worried about his death or finishing his fight with Garp, his only concern is for his unborn son. In the end, Garp walked away from Roger with frustration but I knew he would watch over Ace in the end.

I watched as Garp leaves the prison, but I didn't end up in a different dream but in the archive of Garp's memory. I used my remaining digital scanner bots to scan Garp's combat memories, meanwhile, I use the shop system to leave something for Garp. When I retrieve my bots, I receive Observation Haki, Armament Haki, 6 Rokushiki skills, Garp's personal fighting style and years of combat experience.

By the time I left Garp's dream, I'm 100% certain I got everything I needed from this ship and began my plan to leave this ship in search of the Revolutionary Army in East Blue.

2 weeks later

Garp's ship finally arrived at East Blue without any problem. The first place they stopped in the East Blue was the marine base, where they resupply and inspect the base. The second place to arrive is an island called Avela, this is where Garp dropped Z and his students off with 3 weeks worth of supplies. When Garp finishes his vacation, he will pick them up and head back to Marineford for the second phase of their training.

David decided to leave the ship just as they were about to dock, so he turned invisible, changed back to his human form and flew towards the north after leaving behind a gift for Garp and Hina for giving him a free ride. For Garp, He left one very expensive Japanese rice cracker box set and for Hina, I left silver earrings with small pink diamonds matching her hair color.

Somewhere in East Blue

A few hours later

David found a pirate ship with an unknown jolly roger, it was a group he wasn't familiar with, it wasn't Buggy, Black Cat, or Arlong pirates but some random pirate. After confirming it is a random pirate, David decides to test Shendu's magic and his other talisman ability on these pirates so he can get used to the feel of magic in him.

"Boys! We are the strongest pirates in the East Blue, we stole a great bounty from our last raid while Marines coward from their base. Today we eat and drink until we find ourselves the next victim." Captain Burt of Greenrock Pirate speaks to his crews as they cheer, drink and eat to celebrate their recent success. "You guys sure are having fun, I hear your guys a mile away. By the way, do you guys know the direction of Tequila Wolf?"

Captain Burt heard the kid's voice from his back so he turned around to see an 8-year-old boy with a big smile on his face. Kid continues, "Also I like to know if you guys are strong pirates in the East Blue." As the kid finishes his sentence, both of his eyes glow yellow and fire appears from his hands.
