1 New World
Drip, drip, drip… warm liquid hit David's face as he wakes up from sleep, he's mind is blank and confused, trying to make sense where he was. When David regains his sight, he realizes he is inside of a giant warehouse in the lower level with ladder and giant metal gate in front of him.
It was when he turns around that he realizes the source of warm liquid, a mass grave of corpses a man, women, children in all ages are everywhere, some even piled up like used laundry. David try to scream, but he couldn't make a sound as his neck was dry, then he hears voices approaching from the edge of the upper floor.
Male 1: "Hey, new guy! Put your back into it"
Male 2: "I know, but this is too much for one go"
Male 3: "We still have more to clean up, this is the only first day of Celestial Festival, still have three more days to go"
Man 1: "I can't believe this is how World Nobles replace their old slaves"
Man 2: "What? Do you expect a happy ending? This is where they end up here, to be dumped to the edge of a Red Line unless you are World Nobles, of course, this is Mary Geoise"
Man 3: "Both of you, shut up. Unless you want to be just like them, you have to learn to watch your mouth"
After dumping bloody bodies into a lower level, three men walk away like it was a normal chore, but for David, who saw bodies dropped in front of him, it was a pure nightmare. The last thing he remembers before waking up was him ordering takeout from his favorite restaurant waiting, now he just witnesses possible murder and body disposal.
Re-thinking what he just heard, some key words made David think, 'Celestial, World Nobles, and Mariejois… wait, all three words are related to One Piece, but that's impossible', suddenly, a piece of paper appeared in front of him. David grabs the paper and reads the content.

Finishing the letter, it suddenly combusted and destroy itself, just like in the spy movie it was better this way to dispose of any evidence. David also realizes that he has a different body, 8 years old kid with ragged clothes, and very skinny, it was clear that this body's previous owner was a slave before his death.
After checking his body, David found a slave branding, a Hoof of the Flying Dragon mark on his chest. The only way he knows how to cover it is over branding it like how Sun pirates did after escaping thanks to Fisher Tiger, for now, David's only options are to escape this warehouse and survive.
'First thing first, I need to get out of here. Now how do I climb to the upper level?'
Just as David begins to think, a loud alarm goes off as a metal gate starts to open and fresh breeze of ocean air began to fill the warehouse. Panic starts to overwhelm David as he realizes what was going on, the lower level floor starts to rise and tilt towards the opened gate. David starts to look for ladders or stairs to climb up, but in the end, there was no escape from the tilting floor.
As he is about to fall from an edge of Red Line, something unexpected happens, David was floating in the air while countless bodies disappear into the cloud below. It took David a few seconds to recover from his fear of death but recover quickly as he knew it was the power of levitation from rooster talisman. So, he activates snake talisman to become invisible as he flew high above the warehouse with excitement and to find a place to hide.
After scanning for few minutes, he found a perfect place, alone mansion inside of Mary Geoise, when he arrives at the mansion undetected, he saw a group of people with weird spacesuits slowly move toward the giant gate. A closer look, David realizes they are family of World Nobles riding slaves with servants behind them, he knew what kind of people World Nobles are but seeing in real life he was shocked and disgusted.
'I need to do something, but first I need to clean up, find new clothes and plan move'
Making sure World Nobles are gone, David uses the back of the mansion door and turn the doorknob, to his surprise the door was unlocked and open with no resistance. Staying invisible and maintaining low levitation to prevent from stepping with dirty shoes, David closed the door and explore the mansion. 10 minutes later, he learned two things, a mansion was empty, and have a large bath, so David took this opportunity to clean himself and found spare clothes that match his size, afterward he went to the kitchen to find food to eat.

20 minutes later, in the kitchen
"Man, that was great, I didn't have food this delicious since last year's Thanksgiving", as he finishes his meal and was about to explore more when he found a newspaper in the trash can. It was a Daily Seagull Newspaper, a global newspaper in the world of One Piece, David grab the newspaper and search for any information he can find about the current event.
'It's 1509, 9 years after the death of Gol D. Roger and start of golden pirate age, 13 years before the beginning of the main story. What am I going to do? I can't join Straw Hat because they don't exist yet, and I don't have money (Berry) to live in this world. Where am I going to get the money?' Then, David smile as he realizes where he was and power he possesses, "I guess it's time to start heist."
