4 4 Joon

The eye, whose image had evolved into a large creature, began to emerge from the lagoon waters. He filled the empty space inside the cavern. Gold had not notice, but her eyes had sharpened through the darkness and could now see his details clearer than before. She was slightly impressed at his beauty. She narrowed her eyes as he moved onto land, he's form changed. He morphed into a tallish slender man, with cat like eyes of jet black. The red and green could only be seen now by looking beyond the surface of the eye's pupils. His skin was not like hers in coloring, but lovely all the same. Instead of low tones his coloring possessed more highlights, and reflected the light radiantly. His hair flowed past his shoulders, also jet black, in stark contrast to his skin. The combination was striking even in the darkened cavern.

Gold's chest began to thump. She breathed in and her insides filled. The sensation was gratifying. She released the environmental atmosphere though a mount with holes. The mounts had formed in the middle of her face. She did not need to mold that, it manifested itself from the desire for release. All those new developments settled heavy on her consciousness. She did not know she had anything in her frame to cause such a sensation. She suddenly naturally descended into a sitting position. This new form seemed to need recharging and drifted into lower energy positions spontaneously.

Seeing this graceful movement moved something in the being. Th eye revealed his name, "You may call me Dragon Joon, or simply Joon." He strolled up and sat next to her with comfort.

Gold's mind raced for a second:

'What was that thumping?'

She was energized in a different way when he moved near to her, she could feel his life force. He was warmer than her, with a level close to her own. Hard to tell if it was greater or lesser.

'Did that mean something? Nervousness?... What did he just say, I wasn't listening?...'

He saw her blank stares and repeated, "I am Dragon Joon... You may call me Joon," Joon hesitated, "...if you like."

Unexpectedly Gold exhaled. She must have held this world inside her for a second, '...What's happening to me?'

Joon spoke again, " You seem to be still changing." He felt the changes. If he allowed it, he could feel them within his own form. Just sitting next to her caused sparks in the atmosphere between them. "When core dwellers move into this realm, onto the land, they incorporate elements inside them from this land. It happens to them the more they move through it, they begin to match it's energy."

She froze.
