Clothilda's POV

I was asleep my sisters in the same bed holding on to me. I was only seven.  the second eldest was Ryuu she's five and our youngest sister kenna she's only two. she cuddled together I held on to my sisters. I woke up to the smell of fire and a gun shot I peeked out of my door to see my parents dead and a loyal knight fighting a hunter. the hunters had their of way of life each type of hunter had their of specific skills usually a hunter only hunts of type of creatures from vampires to mermaids. but the ones that hunted us was very skilled ones because they considered us very dangerous. its because we are half dragon half human we are called a Drakaina not many people know what we are. we are even more secretive then vampires not even other species know about us. I watch as the knight and loyal friend to our parents knocked out the hunter and ran to our room he grabbed me and my sisters. his wings popped out and he went to the woods where his family and wife was waiting. me and my sisters were all very important, by orders of our parents we were to be saved before them. I seen his four sons and his wife my sisters crying, me I had to keep them safe. we disapeared into the dark woods and the shadows. but how did this happen ? and why?
