Kyren logged back into the game and his once lifeless body stirred.

Every time he logged out to take a short rest and maintain his real-life body, his avatar would go into a [Soulless] state, which was similar to that of an empty shell. He looked both alive and dead at the same time to those who witnessed him in such a state.

He found himself back in bed with Maya who was cuddling next to his side. There was a slight childish clinginess along with a comfortable and relaxed air around her as she sank into him.

'Time really flies, huh?'

It's already been a little less than three and a half days since he handed the slips to the factions and everything was proceeding smoothly. It felt like he was only with Maya briefly while all that time passed so he must've enjoyed himself quite a bit if he actually lost track of time.

His mind began to wander after that thought and he went into a daze, staring off into space. Countless thoughts raced through his head. It was insane what a transcendent being was capable of, even when they weren't trying.

If his mental capacity was slightly larger, he could really put his mind to work and things would get serious.

Regarding the event, his participation score rocketed at first, but now it was at a steady and constant increase.

He completed the hidden objective, [Discover this event's instigator], almost immediately and raised his score significantly. The objectives that involved diffusing situations and completing missions were adding up at different rates, but increasing nonetheless.

Diffusing bad situations broke through four and five digits a couple of days ago while still on the rise.

Completing missions on the other hand only increased now and then. NPCs weren't capable of telling if a mission was presented in front of them so it created some complications. He ordered his subordinates to do follow-up aid to those they've helped on the other side of the portals, if they happened to noticed that it was needed, just like how the Immortal Souls did it.

There was an easier way to go about this, and that was to use his already spread out senses to detect any disturbances or issues that may arise, besides the arguments and fights. This would therefore trigger a mission for him that would be handled in the same manner as the arguments, using dispatches of forces and gates.

This seemed like a lot of unnecessary effort though, so he refrained. It would also warp their domineering and powerful image of themselves in a way he didn't want.

As for all the other objectives, only time would tell. So far his participation score has reached [Exceptional] and it would take another grand leap once he initiated the main event and came into contact with the other factions.

It seemed like Krista and Rayna were fairing quite well with their duties so he only checked up occasionally. They were B~grades after all, so they should be able to handle this much with great ease.

That protagonist bastard, Hiroki, also seemed to be filling out his task nicely, only meeting a few bumps in the road. He had to admit that his social status and personality were perfect for this job so it was going much better than if he made others do it.

He was keeping an eye on the recently revived party leader of the players who attempted to attack him and blame others. He felt like there was something off about them like they knew too much for people of their level, but he couldn't seem to find the reason why.

After the player with the glasses regrouped with his party, who was still a little shaken and traumatized, he gave them some jobs and they separated. He laid low after their encounter and was mentally recuperating while staring off into the distance. He seemed to be using an ability but Kyren didn't think much of it and only focused on their movements.

'I agree wholeheartedly. They certainly seem to know a lot...'

The party of troublemakers sent a stealth player to do some investigating at the largest arena in the city, which happened to be apart of his plans. He's already rented it out and tightened security around it long ago, so he wouldn't be able to do anything other than confirming the fact that someone was truly occupying it.

'We can rule out an information leak because no one has had contact with the outside for a while after being so busy lately, and not many know of my plans. Also, make sure he doesn't use that peeping ability or spell on any of my subordinates or any people related to me... Did you identify the process or what he used?'

<Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. It did, however, seem to be something associated with his eyes. They faintly glowed, which probably indicated the abilities activation and not royal blood, 'cause that would be impossible.>

'You couldn't identify or analyze the ability?'

'*Sigh* I'll have to do something about that sooner or later. Maybe I can stop by the library later and pick something up.'

'Shuffled talents... I do still have some talent points left, but how will I get the talent I want...' He thought for a bit until an idea came to mind, 'Will that work? It's stupid, but maybe it's stupid enough to actually work.'

He masterfully escaped Maya's clutches and went to another room, not wanting to disturb her. If the system actually allowed this to work, he wouldn't know how to react.

In response to the ability's activation, a heavenly and warm sensation took him by surprise and he involuntarily felt butterflies in his stomach. A pair of perfect-looking and delicate feminine arms came from behind him and wrapped around from his back to his chest, tightly hugging him with great sincerity and care. They were made up of divine golden light with a transparent glow and no physical form, making them barely visible.

The arms soon disappeared after a moment and they were replaced by an overly confident feeling that sprouted deep within his heart, telling him he was unbeatable. If feeling lucky could be described as a feeling, this was it.

After mentally preparing himself and taking a deep breath, his luck jumped straight up to a whopping one hundred and ninety-five points and he exclaimed in a painfully forced and unnatural tone, "I'd have to be the luckiest man in the world if I could get an observation and/or an appraisal talent."

As soon as Leo said those mandatory words, a large ring of tabs that were similar to the ones from his time with the Goddess of Reincarnation materialized in front of him.

He swiftly scrolled through all the tabs and only looked at their titles. The corner of his eyes twitched and a crooked smile formed on his face as he said in a shaky voice, "This is terrifying... Every single one of them is related to observation and appraisal abilities. On top of that, their average rarity is jaw-dropping."

"*Grumble*.....Never mention this to me ever again."

Memories of him saying those words earlier made him wince and shudder slightly. He needed to make what he wished to happen, along with any of his intentions, as painfully obvious as possible if any miraculous or fortunate outcomes were to take effect... At least he thinks so.

He pushed the bitter memory to the back of his head and he began to scrutinize each tab.
