53 Personal Dimension

Since they finished with training, Kyren skyrocketed down to the surface level after making a full recovery. The creature and old man quickly found where he landed due to the massive explosion he created due to his power going berserk again.

As soon as they met up, Lucien raised his hand and a barrage of spells consisting of lightning javelins, steel spears, reality ripples, and many others were launched at him at speeds hard to see with the naked eye.

[Absolute Invulnerability]

The attacks disappeared from existence, not making any noises whatsoever. The creature was stunned and confused about what to do because it thought the two were allies. It stayed silent though because the dragon seemed to be smirking.

"*Sigh* Just couldn't wait could you-"

The old man used the agility of a cat and speeds far faster than any bullet while committing all of his strength to pummel Kyren. His strikes were a little clumsy because he was of the mage class so he wasn't specialized in this kind of stuff. The punches hit the invisible barrier and stopped as though it lost all of its inertia and energy.

Lucien wasn't distraught by his show of weakness but ecstatic because of his findings. He squatted down and took out a small book which he was using to scribble notes, "Interesting! Very interesting... *mumbling* So he takes the kinetic energy away from any attacks which *mumbling* Any energy or mana he gains from attacks are converted into power so he can lessen the burden of maintenance by many folds *mumbling*."

Kyren ignored the rambling, senile old man to his research and looked towards the creature, "This is your last chance to go back. I want to remind you that you might not be serving me directly, but someone else. It will also be quite dangerous and I demand nothing but absolute loyalty."

The Kraken steeled its heart and did another horribly executed kowtow to show its acceptance.

<You discovered the proficiency, [Creature Whispering].>

'Eh, can I speak to animals now?'

<Don't you think it's weird that this creature has somehow been understanding every word you utter? This is because you're technically classified as a creature yourself, so you can gain abilities and proficiencies related to this. Translating what creatures have to say might take some time because you haven't interacted with many so far.>

He gazed at the old man and patted him on the back to get his attention, "I have decent storage space now so I'd like my behemoths now."

"*Mumbling* Huh? Oh right."

Lucien put his stuff in a crack in space and stood up. He raised his palm and pointed it to Kyren. Void mana gathered and a faint purple glow appeared in his hand.

<The NPC [Lucien] is using [Dimensional Storage: Dimensional Transfer] to give you the following items.....

You discovered the ability [Dimensional Transfer] and [Dimensional Trade] for the spell [Dimensional Storage].>

He sensed that his dimension was filling rapidly and he was forced to use mana to expand it. Now that they were in his possession, he could properly appraise their quality and some possible uses. This haul was definitely more profitable than Maya's brief trip to the auction house.

While he was fawning over the excellence and rarity of each material, the old man suddenly got serious as he kneeled down and lowered his head towards him. Kyren couldn't properly process what he was seeing so he stared blankly.

"I know this doesn't look good for my image as a teacher... but I wish to follow you. Your heaven-defying abilities with the void fit perfectly with my endeavors. If you can help me with my research, then I shall devote myself to serving you."

Kyren also got serious as he thoughtfully planned a few steps ahead, "What do you need help with?"

"Research on different void related ideas, items, concepts, and inventions among other things... such as crossing the Void Chasm. Now I know that sounds-"

"Hmm? Such a coincidence that we have similar goals."

"You wish to cross the Void Chasms too?!"

"Yes, I need to go to the Origin Battlefield but I should have a few years before I'm required to go there... I think."

From what Leo summarized in literature and documents he's read throughout his time in this game, his current strength and manpower are vastly lacking to pull off an expedition of this scale. He would need a massive mobile army with possible upper grade transcendent power for himself, although that might be optional if he has a strong force. The problem was mainly the void infected creatures that roamed the Void Chasm aimlessly, which individual strength was most likely each at around the behemoth-rank or above. Moreover, void related creatures have unique and sometimes wacky abilities that raise their threat level a few notches. He could handle dozens of behemoths at once without breaking a sweat, but the estimated numbers from only a few distant observation records of the Void Chasm were staggering so no one has dared entertained the thought of subjugating the void.

Traveling the Void Chasms was definitely meant for later stages of the game when players strength and numbers were enough to handle it on massive scales. He suspected that NPCs such as Lucien were key characters for the main storyline when the game introduced travel between continents through a world event, so having him on his side would benefit him immensely.

"I accept your request to help you. I feel slightly uncomfortable with subordinating you though, so if it's all right with you, I'd like to make you an advisor of some sort instead."

Lucien moved his head even lower and faintly trembled with hidden emotion, "Thank you for hearing this old fossil's wishes out. The church has put far too many restrictions on me throughout my years and I've almost forgotten about my dreams until I met you."

"I have a much greater use for your current situation before you properly start working with or for me. I need you to spy on the church and report to me until I deal with them."

"WHAT!?!" The old man shot up like he was in his prime and nearly fell down right after from what he heard, "Are you insane!?! Do you not know how much power is wielded by them in just this continent alone?!

And that's leaving out their homeland where their true powerhouses such as the pope and his cardinals reside... It's madness!"

"They pissed me off multiple times so I feel as though the world would be better off without them. Is that so bad?"

"No no no, they're all self entitled pricks that I personally dislike more than most people because of the things I've witnessed them do. But they're "pricks" with ancient and terrifying power and influence."

Kyren's eyes went cold as he said in a chilling voice, "I've decided that they'll vanish from existence and that's just what I'll do."

"....." The old mans heart skipped a beat when he felt the presence of an Elder Dragon and a killer unconsciously come off of the young man, "I have no idea why you have so much animosity towards the church and I don't plan to pry, but if your going to start a rebellion then you must thoroughly plan, gain internal and foreign allies, and amass a large force because just you and the giant squid over there isn't even close to enough to destroy the Lumeria branch.

I agree to spy for you but I won't participate any further without assurance that you'll come out completely victorious."

"That's good enough for me. Just sit back and watch for now as I topple this ancient corruption and turn it to cinders...

Our time here is practically up, shall we leave the Turbulent World through my personal dimension?"

The old man nodded and Kyren opened a gate large enough for the three of them to pass through.

When they came out of the portal, they stepped onto nothing and floated out into a black void. It was similar to space but without any stars. There was oxygen and heat so they didn't perish or take damage because of the basic life support system he put in place.

<Please provide a mana source to this dimension to activate it.>

He reached into a crack in space and took out one of the weaker and less quality behemoth cores. It would be a waste to use the good stuff. The foggy and complex spherical prism in his hand turned into particles and dispersed.

'Could you help me out with decorating?'

<Of course. What do you want first?>

'Let's start out with...'

.....

Kyren and Leo finished after around a quarter of a dozen hours of working and he arrived before Lucien to give him a tour, who was waiting near the entry point. S~grade personal dimensions could only have a maximum of one hundred cubic meters so the old man was in awe of not only the incredible details but the amount of dimensional space he sensed.

Stunning stars and otherworldly scenes like the milky way formed a background to the dimension making it seem infinite. In between two humongous asteroids was a hourglass-looking structure holding the two humongous celestial objects together. The lavish hourglass structure had an ethereal and profound marble temple style with purple, black, and silver colors perfectly complementing each other. The asteroids looked like they had cracks and fissures spreading across them with a bright purple lights and particle effects emitting from deep within. A large silver tubular ring orbited the middle of the structure with large, floating dark purple arrowhead-like crystals lining the outside. Countless mini asteroids the size of adult humans with the same glowing purple cracks, dotted the atmosphere.

The interior of the colossal structure was beautiful and luxurious with rooms for every imaginable purpose. Rooms that were to big to fit inside, such as the mini arena, used [Personal Dimension: Dimensional Branch] to expand them greatly.

Lucien believed that the divine-looking temple he was inside was the residence of a Godly entity. Everything just looked too perfect and well designed to be constructed in a mere three hours. If this place were to actually be built, he estimated that it would take centuries even with magic.

Because he had an affinity for the water element, there was a temporary aquarium for the Kraken to reside in until he found a proper place for it. If it was water created using his personal dimension abilities, it wouldn't work because it was only for decoration. The Kraken was looking a little dry from being in an air-filled environment for so long so it was glad to gain some moisture.

Kyren was proud of this masterpiece, even if Leo did most, if not all of the heavy lifting, 'A Super AI is truly priceless when it come to this kind of stuff.'

<And you should make sure you remember that. Anyway, what do you wish to name your personal dimension?>

'I think I'll call it the Spatial Palace...'
