On the way through my throat, something causes the mana to go volatile and turn into a glowing purple mist...' he looked at the destruction he caused with a blank stare as the gears in his brains went into overdrive.

'What if I was to focus the output of the mana into a a straight line?

What if I concentrated the magic into short bursts? Like throwing a baseball.'

Everything in your way shall be wiped from existence! Dragons will pour out dense mana from their lungs to use Dragon's Breath. On a dragon's uvula, their respective element hangs on their throat and transforms the mana when it exits the mouth into Dragon's Breath.

Kyren was utterly dumbfounded by the improvements he made to single skill.

<Haha, absolutely not, this is due to the abnormally high synchronization rate and your great problem solving skills. Growth potential and intelligence attribute also played a part.>

Great dins of sound spread throughout the entire forest as whole chunks of vegetation just disappeared. The destruction those two attacks caused was massive and the explosions were so violent, that the people in Kassio could feel a slight tremor.

Now that Kyren did some magical innovation, he now needed to get the proof of his death to the guild. This destruction was the perfect stage for a fight between Kyren and the Void Dragon.

'How do I go about this?'

'Good call. Can I actually do this? Aren't dragon's like super tough? Will everything grow back for sure?'

Kyren did as Leo instructed and started ripping off scales, cutting off horns, slicing off spikes, and pulling out teeth.

Even though he was skeptical at first, everything started growing back fairly quickly.

Every level of pain tolerance he gains, he will be able to adjust an additional 7% of the pain he feels. But even with the reduction, he still felt like he was stabbing himself and ripping out his hair.

Kyren collapsed and started breathing heavily.

"NO!!!"

He immediately started funneling mana into his wounds to speed up the healing process. Sadly it drained his mana and mental energy so he had to wait a minute before he could repeat the process.

After numerous hours of pain and agony, he was on his final attempt before his torpor knocked him out.

'I need some hide. This is beneficial for me in the long run. I won't take any permanent damage so it should be fine.'

<*Sigh* Just don't do your tail. Tails are very sensitive despite you technically being a lizard.>

Kyren found a nearby rock and placed his left arm onto it. He raised his glowing purple claw and cut down with all his might.

Kyren let out an earth shattering Dragon's Roar from the pain. He quickly used [Gene Transformation: Gene Fluctuation (human)] to lessen the burden of the healing and poured some magic around the lifeless arm to keep it in pristine condition.

Leo taught him how to use preservation magic for the amputation, but it will constantly drain his mana unlike knowing an actual spell. He had a lot of mana and a monstrous recovery rate so he didn't mind.

He covered his bleeding arm to stop as much blood loss but everything went black after that.

When Kyren awoke from his deep slumber, it was night time.

His arm was as good as new so he heaved a sigh of relief.

He quickly put on his cloths and cloak, leaving the mask off because he didn't see a need to keep it on right now, and stored the mountains of materials into his dimensional storage.

He hauled the massive dragon's arm over his shoulder and started heading back to the city through the forest.

The arm was a couple meters long and supposedly weighed far more than Kyren himself, but he had no problem carrying it like a potato sack.

When he was near the main road he smelled something metallic with his sharp sense.

Blood...

He rushed over to the source and quickly found bodies littering the floor. None of them were human. It looked like a war scene between a large wolf pack and a lot of undead skeleton creatures.

Although Kyren was surprised by the severity of the punishment, he didn't hesitate to start searching. He would've helped even if there was a curse for the punishment or not.

He pushed all of his senses to the max and quickly found a soul that was just barely hanging on.

Once he was at a small and bloody wolfs side, he hurriedly consulted Leo.

'Crap.... I'll try sending my mana into it.'

'I have to try!'

Ignoring the warm silver blood that was still leaking out, Kyren put pressure on the wounds and transferred a small stream of mana into the fading wolf.
