Alvestine Uproar

After an hour of playing with each other back and forth, Kyren had to stop it or he would miss the opportunity to go to the capital.

Sadly Maya didn't lose her first to him yet like she wanted to, but she did have a great time.

The other day, Kyren bought an extremely expensive blue and black dress from the noble district and handed it to Maya. He was technically considered a baron in Kassio so he was able to enter.

She excitedly changed into it, wondering what could possibly warrant such a lavish and domineering style. The dress perfectly complimented her lower curves and even made her smaller chest seem perfect. It was as though it was made for her.

He supplied the two some mana to speed up the process of healing the hickeys because it could hinder his plan. Sadly he didn't know any healing spells yet so it took a while to fully get rid of them.

They then headed to Darien's place to pick up some items. He was extremely surprised to see the drastic changes on Kyren's body but luckily he decided to apply adjustment runes to the equipment before hand so it could cater to their proportions no matter the changes to their physique.

Kyren collected the remaining dragon materials and the items he asked him to prepare the night before. He then distributed them to the girls.

He handed Maya a mask made of priceless materials and dragon parts that nicely matched her dress.

Rayna got a full set of pitch black armor and two one handed battle axes that he was borrowing from Darien. She also got an elaborate mask to match the armor just like Maya. Her white hair perfectly contrasted with the black theme.

The masks the girls got had a special effect that would make it impossible for someone to recognize the wearer or determine the full extent of their power.

"So are you going to tell us what we're doing?"

"I heard their was an important auction in the capital later today."

"The capital? You mean the super auction that's held once a month for the most powerful in Alvestine? You might be able to get in with those dragon parts but how are you going to get there if it's in a few hours?"

"I'm so glad you asked Darien," A huge grin appeared on Kyren's face, "Have you girls ever ridden a dragon before?"

.....

Flying above the land was a ridiculously massive black and purple dragon with two ant like human figures riding on its back. Kyren utilized 39% of the Goliath genes to turn into a [Adolescent Void Continent Dragon] that was longer than a hundred meters and more buff than a prized bull at only adolescences.

The area they were flying over was like something out of a movie. Plateaus with odd looking trees could be seen everywhere. Small rivers twisted and turned in all directions. In the distance were some peculiar mountains that made arch's and inverted cliffs in the air, narrowly touching the clouds.

Mythical creatures went about their lives, or attacked other living things down below.

The adventures on the ground stopped what they were doing to look at the thing that created the shadow below them. What they saw horrified them to their very core.

"A dragon is heading in the direction of the capital!!!"

"Quick, someone contact the guard!"

"It's huge!! The capital is as good as gone if it attacks them!"

The creatures they were fighting were also spooked. Dragons were at the top of the food chain so they innately knew to not come into contact with them, even if they never seen one before. They quickly scurried off into nearby hiding spaces.

Along the way, Kyren carefully explained the plan and what he wanted the two girls to do. He stressed how they should act and how they should give anyone that asked only the appropriate amount of information.

"Rayna, act like a silent and domineering bodyguard and Maya... just act a little more arrogant than you already are."

Maya puffed out her cheeks and turned away in an exaggerated manner. Rayna giggled at the child like Mermaid.

"We're nearing the capital so let's make a grand entrance!"

In the Alvestine throne room, the Emperor and some of his most loyal nobility discussed the common matters of the nation, while lingering on the topic of the demon sighting in Kassio.

The man on the throne was William Demar Ruben von Alvestine VIII and he was a stern man that's been alive for around three hundred years.

He looked to be in his 40s and he had spiky dark pink hair paired with a very serious expression. The the royal garments he wore were made of the most precious materials while a magnificent rose gold crown with magical crystals embedded in it sat upon his head.

His eyes displayed a faint fluorescent pink glow with cherry blossom irises. This glow was similar to the lion beast mans glowing fluorescent orange eyes but a weaker version. This indicated that there was activated royal blood in them.

Pink features were a trademark of the Alvestine royal family and it was mostly because of their blood.

Due to their special relationship with the church, the entire royal family was a half-angel so they were considerably stronger than a human.

The discussion was getting a little more heated when a disturbance stoped them.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

The once bustling room quieted as they looked towards the door with a hint of confusion. They were having a semi-important meeting that wasn't allowed to be disturbed, even the prince and princess couldn't waltz in when ever they wanted. Those present concluded that it must be a dire emergency.

The butler opened the door to check who it was. He hurriedly took the attention of the room and announced, "Your majesty, the commander of the outer wall guards comes with urgent news that he says cannot wait."

"Bring him in," he was obviously annoyed about the interruption but the commander was usually a very calm person so he was interested in what he had to say.

A man with a braided beard and nicely cut hair came in with a pale and frantic expression. His high-grade armor made loud clanks as he quickly came before the council. He kneeled down on one knee, looking distraught before the nobles and Emperor.

"You may speak."

"My liege! A-A dragon is heading towards the capital!!!"

"A dragon? Is it strong though that you had to come to me during a meeting? Are the Dragon Slayers and Adventures confident in killing it?"

"We can not identify what type of dragon it is and as for the Dragon Slayers and Adventures....." He gulped as sweat ran down his face, "They are confident that if we are attacked by it, the capital will be wiped off the map an-and all of us quickly slaughtered."

"WHAT!?! What's its strength?! The capital is a fortress that's stood since the war!"

"It has some kind of aura jamming ability so we can't determine its true strength, but judging by its looks..... it's vastly larger and more muscular than any Adult Dragon ever recorded."

"I-Is it one of the rumored Elder Dragons from the war?"

"We have no idea."

"Then why aren't we defending ourselves with the long range spells!?! Why don't I hear explosions?!"

"Be-Because....."

"Out with it!!!"

"It would have destroyed our shields by now, so we're hoping to avoid a fight."

"Hmmm, that's a wise choice. What about the citizens?"

"They only believe that we are dealing with a regular dragon and we've evacuated the people closest to the wall per routine. The rest go about their lives in ignorance."

"Good, keep it that way unless a fight breaks out."

Mass panic was the least wanted thing among rulers because it lead to chaos and disorder.

The commanders communication bracelet alerted him of the latest news. He nearly lost his sense of balance when he heard the report.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?!?!" he officially lost his cool and stood up unconsciously, forgetting about the palace etiquette.

"What is it commander?! Is it charging up an attack?"

"N-n-no... t-two humanoid fig-figures have been spotted riding upon its back. This is confirmed to be not an illusion spell."

The room went even more silent than it already was and the rapid beating of hearts could be heard from around the room.

Dragon's were an extremely prideful species that wouldn't interact with non-dragons, much less let them ride on their backs. Only tamed wyverns would get even close to something like that. Even the demons and devils from the war wouldn't dare mount even an Adolescent Dragon!

Moreover, this was supposedly an Elder Dragon at the behemoth-rank that was capable of wiping entire continents out of existence with a single rampage.

They were deathly scared of Elder Dragons alone, but it was a different story for someone who was able to subdue such a monster. Even if they mobilized all of the national treasures and A~grade individuals at their disposal, their chances of victory were negligible if non-existent. Maybe if any S~grade or Transcendent Realm beings still lived after the war, then they would have a fighting chance.

It's only been 5 minutes and the Emperor felt like his prized capital was falling apart, "Find a palace mage to show me an image of the outer wall!"

The butler immediately brought in the palaces head mage and ordered him to use the clairvoyance spell and the mind mirror spells to produce a hovering mirror of the happenings outside.

The room erupted when they saw the sheer size of the quickly approaching creature compared to their massive walls.

"That can't possibly be an Elder Dragon!! It's far to big! It's practically the size of a Draconic Leviathan!!"

"Why is it black and purple? I've never seen this type of dragon."

"That's two women on top of that thing! And they look like their having a leisurely ride!?!"

"They look extremely wealthy and powerful! Does anyone recognize them?"

"We can't because of those masks! My senses can't pick up on anything."

"Has the church said anything yet? Hopefully they won't attack them and doom us all."

"Are there any A~grade beings we can spare that aren't protecting the royal family? Perhaps one of them can hold them off if they have hostile intentions for the rest of us to escape?"

While the court tried to discuss a plan of action, the Emperor looked at the screen with a grim face as he thought of his precious children and family. He quickly ordered some trusted guards to send the royal family out of the capital and to the nearest city or stronghold.
